Can’t say enough about how nice the owners and staff are at this restaurant. I unknowingly showed up right at closing time with two starving boys! We had time to kill before their haircut appointments. They were kind enough to seat us and feed us anyway! Really made our day and I would highly recommended eating here. This day and time it’s hard to find kind folks like this. On top of that the food was amazing to boot! French toast platter was delicious! Thanks again Smoots!

If you're looking for a home style meal without the momentous effort you'd need to make it yourself: this is the place.
Their biscuits are amazing, and pair perfectly with the sausage they make. I believe they received their recipe for the sausage when they bought the place that was originally made by Pierre Sullivan: a local legend that served breakfast to our community for decades, and with a sausage recipe that's just as legendary.

We recently did a staff retreat in the area and chose this spot as one of our eatout meals for breakfast one more. Wow! If I’m ever in the area again I’m 100% going again and we seriously thought about trying to extend our stay so we could come back to try the lunch menu on a different day. Our group of 12 were so well taken care of by our servers Belle and Katlyn. They were so nice, friendly, attentive, and helpful in their service throughout. I always think it’s unique when a place can make out of town guests feel like their locals and that was exactly the level of care and treatment we received. A+! Beyond the great service, the food was incredible! We received great recommendations on our orders from the servers and EVERYONE LOVED literally everything they ordered. I had the pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, and a biscuit and it was fantastic and so filling and I couldn’t believe how great the prices were, especially given the portion sizes and food quality were so great. Other members of our party got omelets, French toast, grits, breakfast burritos, etc and everyone went on and on about how great everything was. We seriously did not want to leave. Thank you Smoots! If you’re ever anywhere nearby you absolutely MUST try out this hidden gem. Seriously how is this not getting 5 stars from everyone who visits?

This place is incredible. The people are super friendly, and the food is great. They've just started serving dinner as well. The buffet is a MUST try.
