US Corps of Engineers Ridge Rd. Campground

Excellent backin space (67) great for Truck.camper or Van's and smaller campers. Electric and water hookups, fire ring, food prep and picnic table. Nice and level. Showers w/hot water within walking distance. Dump station and trash on site. Really quiet given it Mothersday weekend and most sites were filled. Also included the site next to us (66) which had just emptied..again a large site for bigger RV's and right on the lake.

Great location!!! Even our furbabies loved it. Very easy to get to the beach area!! We loved the site!:

COE parks are always the greatest. This is no different. Private sites surrounded by great scenery.

Absolutely fantastic 2 night stay! Clean restrooms … most campsites are well spaced and have a good amount of space. Convenient to several trails - hiking & mountain biking! Can’t wait to come back! 😎

My husband and I loved it at Ridge Road Corp Campground in Georgia!. The camp site are large and clean. The lake is beautiful and the sites are open to the lake. There are many corps on J Strom Thurmond Lake but this park is the nicest. And the Managers are very nice and helpful. We travel in our RV all around and we definitely will be back!

This camp ground is phenomenal. It's so clean and clear compared to previous years. The volunteers Tina, Al, and Pat really take good care of the campground. 10/10 would recommend.

One of America's greatest campgrounds, directly on Lake Strom Thurmond! Huge private wooded sites. Most are waterfront, some pull thru. All 50 amp and water, no sewer however. Firepits and grills. Clean restrooms and showers. Good T-Mobil and Verizon cell service and internet. Nice playground, and swimming beach. Worth a visit.

I love Ridge road. We have been camping here for many years. The lots are big and they keep the bathrooms in tip top shape. We dont camp anywhere else.

What a great campground. The sites are put together very well and surrounded by trees to give you privacy.
