US Social Security Administration

Walked up at 2:10 on a Tuesday. Got in line and was out with updates to two SSN names in a hours time. Tent out front to shade you from the heat. Complaints come from lack of preparation. You need original documents and items completed. Staff all super kind and helpful.

Five stars. We showed up with no appointment on a Friday and were in and out within an hour and 15 minutes. Everyone there was polite and professional. The security guard was friendly and
helped people who weren't sure about how to check in. The waiting area is clean and air conditioned with plenty of seats, restrooms, water fountains, etc. I think some of the negative reviews here are coming from people who don't realize that this location does not issue Social Security cards or process name changes -- do your homework, it's all on the Social Security website. We were bracing ourselves for a hot mess based on the negative comments here and instead were very pleasantly surprised.

Easy no long wait time . Very friendly workers . Gave me a lot of information I needed. Thank You Social Security in Lake Mary Florida.

Very polite and courteous representative. I expected that there would be some waiting time on hold but was informed about the estimated waiting time in advance and it was within the range that was estimated so it was a very pleasant phone call experience. Thank you.

Window 4 is the one who helped me out with my questions. SHE IS VERY HELPUL.GIVE ME ALL THE ANSWER THAT I NEED.VERY. PROFESSIONAL. TOO NAD I DIDNT GET HER NAME. Saw all these bad reviews so I went in there in battle gear(figuratively speaking) and was pleasantly surprised at how nice and helpful they were. Tresheena and James were amazing and, not only knowledgeable but, very helpful. I was out of there in about 15 minutes. Thanks for all the info I needed. Great job

Went in this afternoon to drop off paperwork without an appointment and waited less than 30 minutes to be seen. Ms. Hunt was delightful and very helpful and I was done in less than an hour total.

I was worried about coming here after reading all the bad reviews. But I had a great experience here and the staff was friendly! Waited less than 5 minutes everything went smoothly.

I had to go in without an appointment. Everyone in this office ( including the security officer) was polite, efficient, helpful, courteous, kind, thoughtful and proffessional. They were the nicest people I have ever dealt with in a government office of any kind...that is saying ALOT! I was in and out within an hour and being so close to Orlando I had truly expected to wait a couple of hours and have the process be a hastle. I was most pleasantly surprised.

Based on many of the reviews I saw online I was prepared but a long stressful trip. However, I lucked out when I went. There was a short wait to talk to someone and they were very helpful. I needed a form for another government agency that apparently is old and seldom used. The young lady helping me needed some help from her supervisor to get it, but her and her supervisor went out of their way to make sure I got what I needed.

Painless experience...grab a ticket at the kiosk and wait for your number to be called..I was there about an hour

Waited the 15 min for answer. Got a representative named Luis. What a great man!!! He was kind, understanding and helpful. NOT WHAT I WAS EXPECTING. Anyone getting him on the line will be more than happy with the treatment that is received. There should be more like this man.

What a relief. Ms Hunt was pleasant and efficient. We were out of there in 30 minutes! Thank you!!!

There is definitely a lot of delay to serve people, they should be more organized to schedule appointments

I'm pretty sure this location only handles cases regarding Social Security Income and Social Security Benefits. All other needs are directed to the Orlando office. They close early on Wednesday.

I called today after reading all the aweful reviews. I was on hold for about 6 minutes. A very nice funny lady answered and i made an appoitment. Simple and fast.

Had a very Profesional staff member help me navigate the crazy web site the SS puts out. Could not have done it without her help.
