Winfield Campground Check-In

This place is in the top ten campgrounds we have stayed at. When making reservations pay close attention to the recommended RV length as leveling may be an issue.

Great place to camp. Clean bathrooms. Nice host.

My husband and I love this campground! We try to camp for a week at a time every month it is open. We drive two hours to get there, but for one reason and one reason only, the host Nanette Johnson and Tonya Daily. They treat us like family. Always have a smile on their face and always speak to us.
We have several campgrounds that are definitely closer to us, Springfield for one, but none compare to the hosts Winfield has. At Springfield, the host may or may not even look up at you when you drive through.
Act like it’s an inconvenience when we would go to the gate to ask a question or have a concern. Winfield no matter what, we get a smile and kind response. We do love the campground itself, the sites are great and always clean, but hosts push it over the top for us. We will definitely keep going as long as Nanette and Tonya are there.

Love Winfield! Annette and Tanya are great hosts. They are friendly and helpful. We needed a section of wire to fix our boat trailer and they sacrificed a piece from something they had. Very helpful when we had a family emergency and had to leave early. Love the spacious campsites and laid back vibe of the place. Very clean and neat. We don’t use the bathhouse but the times we have been in it, it is always clean.

Went for my husbands Annual Birthday camping trip. As always we had a blast with family and friends. We will be camping a few more times before the season is out.

The best campground ever! Quite, private, clean, relaxing and the site is huge. Site 15, is right on the water. Was able to launch my kayak from my site. No WIFI but I had phone data so I was able to text, call, online and stream. The Rangers are wonderful and helpful. A must stay if you're looking for a place to rewind.

One of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed in. Campsites are large, shaded, clean and have beautiful views of the lake.

This was our 1st time here and the view was amazing! Our family enjoyed the stay and my kids loved to play in the lake. It was like we were on our own little island. So relaxing! 5 stars all the way! We'll be back soon!

Without question, our favorite RV campground in the country!
Large wooded sites directly on the river, with water views on both sides of the road. Immaculate. Gorgeous. Endless places to walk, hike, boat, fish... So much privacy and quiet! Nanette and staff are the best.

Loved this place. A lot of the lots are right next to the lake. It was not crowded at all. The lake was beautiful. We took the boat out every day we were there. Highly recommend this place. 5 ⭐

Friendly, staff that do a great job of managing the campground. Clean well maintained families with big water front sites.

Great stay, the operators of the park were warm and welcoming. The price is right too. Only draw back is no waste water hooks at sights and few showers available. Also, you can't use your outdoor shower but it's ok to swim in the lake? Biodegradable soap should make outdoor showering ok. Watch out for poison ivy.

We come to this campground every year and love it. The campsites are far enough apart for privacy but close enough to enjoy your neighbors if you wanted!
