Tung Fong Oriental Market

Try to be a vegetarian and came to Tung Fong Market to shop. The very friendly clerk was very helpful in educating me in how to use and make Asian ingredients. Still learning but found this market my go to for Asian food. Very clean and easy in and out parking lot.

First time in but not the last. I was making hot & sour soup and needed to buy a couple of ingredients. I had seen that some recipes call for dried daylilies. After the owner described what I would need to do, I decided that ingredient wasn't for me. She laughed and agreed. Right then I knew this was a store I would be returning to often.

Besides groceries and produce, there was a nice assortment of gifts, jewelry, chopsticks, etc. The store is very clean.

Free on-site parking and it is easy in and out.

We went looking for Japanese soda. Found it! Along with a few other great items. My 9 year old thought it was awesome. The ladies were very helpful and nice.

Super friendly service. Extremely helpful and the prices are really good. If you're looking for some Oriental treats I highly recommend that you check out Tung Fong. They have a wide variety in selection.

Very sweet store manager and they have a good variety of Asian foods, packaged, fresh and canned. I went to this place to get nori sheets for making sushi rolls and finally found it! Also found quality coconut cream here that they don't carry at regular grocery stores.

Just stopped in to check out the place, was pleasantly surprised. Very friendly, it was small but still had all necessary groceries to make a fantastic Asian meal. It will be on my list of ethnic grocery stores in Seminole!

Thankful it exists because some of these things just cannot be found at Publix. Surprising diversity of groceries and kitchen supplies. And very pleasant, helpful service!

This place is great! I've been going there for years to get ingredients for my Thai cooking. They are so helpful and guiding me to find the things that I need, and ask what I'm making and often offer suggestions. The prices are excellent, and they have a great variety of the foods that you need for Oriental cooking. They even help me carry my food order out to my car for me. Can't say enough good about this place!

I don't have photos to share. This is a hidden gem in Seminole. If you like to cook your own Asian food this is your local spot for all the good stuff! Their prices are reasonable and their selection of goods is pretty damn extensive for a physically small location. They mainly have dry and canned goods though. My wife and I have only been a couple times between the two of us, so they may have fresh foods when things are in season. The lady I spoke with was pleasant and outgoing, we shared martini recipes (I got the stuff to make lychee martinis) and we talked about travel to Asia during covid. My kids loved the noodle dishes we had in China and now I have a place minutes from my house that has an awesome selection! Check them out, don't let the size of the shop fool you!!

Love this market especially the lady who owns this business! They had everything I needed, so helpful with what I was planning to cook! Great prices too, I’ll be back sooner then later!

Little place, but honestly how many different Asian supplies do you need? I stopped in for everything I needed to make some curries (got like 6 types) and Pad Thai. Had a good discussion with the nice employee about which coconut milk was best and filled a bag of deliciousness for under $30!

I came here looking for ginseng chicken soup ingredients. (Ginseng Root / goji berries / jujubes / ext.) .. I have never made ginseng chicken soup and I was a bit nervous about it (a few of the ingredients I have never used before) the woman who runs the store is extremely kind. She measured out the ingredients for me AND she walked through the recipe with me. 😊 she made the whole experience so enjoyable! The soup turned out AMAZING. I will def be coming back!

We've shopped here for several years and like it a lot. They have an impressive variety of the ingredients of the East Asian diets. The list is too long to begin, but if you've lived in Asia and know 'the good stuff' they're likely to have it. Like other posters say, the prices are fine and the proprietor is a great lady. Try their frozen pork jiaozi!

The lady who runs the store is always so sweet and helpful. I live off US19 and Bryan dairy and make it a point to do my Asian grocery shopping here. She even has fresh specialty veggies and Thai basil!

Had everything I need (there’s no decent selection of Asian goods anywhere nearby!), and the lady who helped me was very kind and we had a pleasant chat. Affordable and great selection of goods!

Really nice and clean and organized. The woman working helped me find what I needed and even suggested Thai basil for what I was making, which they sell in small bags for some change.

They have stuff, especially frozen that is not displayed, so ask if you don't see it. Prices are competitive so don't worry about that. The most valuable asset is the personal attention and knowledge that they have to share

They had every item I was looking for. Christine was very helpful. She approached us after a few minutes looking and she took us to every Japanese food I needed.
