Very communicative. Julian walked me through every step and gave no issues when I had questions. I was able to speak to a real person without a thousand prompts and even able to text the rep directly with questions.

They were attentive and communicative throughout the process of providing a quote and scheduling my move. The movers themselves were terrific -- very professional and good-humored.

This was the best experience. They were super speedy, and experienced, handled items courteously and the final bill was the same as I hoped without surprises. I recommend them!

They didn’t charge me anything extra for adding items at the last minute. Plus, the reservation changes were made even for the last-minute changes, and the payment was only taken when the job was completed.

In terms of professionalism, we had the best moving experience. The move was amazing. Efficient and polite! You couldn't ask for more kind help.

I was pleased with everything from start to finish. They were pleasant and professional. They are definitely in the right business because they know what they are doing. They were professional, personable and persistent.

This was the quickest and easiest move I've ever had. They were super experienced, skillful, and professional. I'll be using this company again for sure.

Terrible but terrible service. Just to start, at the begging they act all nice and give you a fair quote according to the amount of stuff you are taking, I told the salesman exactly what I was taking, such as furniture, very detailed and yet he says to according to the quote he is given me and his super “calculations”, I can take that plus 20 boxes. So I said perfect, I had my furniture plus 13 boxes which is less. So when the truck comes, they are charging me literally doble the amount. I was supposed to pay only 540 there and then the same thing on delivery. So I gave him only 540 that’s it. So now the company didn’t want to give me my stuff until I paid the 50%. So I tried to call so many times and they never answer.
They are horrible, after 1 month and 2weeks my stuff came, when they said it only will take 2 weeks.
Do not go with these people, they suck at their job, they should be shut down for scamming and robbing people’s money like that!!!!!!!
I repeat, don’t go with this company, or you will be scammed!!!
I was very close to sue them, and I should still do it. Don’t let them fool you.

On September 19th, I began receiving calls from various companies after requesting quotes. During a conversation with Julian Carmichael an employee at Everest, I expressed my concerns after recently losing my father and needing to transport his possessions long distance. Julian seemed polite, but was a fast talking sales person. The following day, Julian called again and informed me that due to my move dates being less than 10 days away, I needed to make a decision.

I hired Everest on September 20th and made an initial deposit of $645 due to feeling a sense of urgency. Julian gave me reassurance that the company was licensed and compliant. However, upon conducting additional research, I discovered that the company lacked both a fleet of trucks and drivers. Instead, they planned to outsource these services. I called him, left a message about my concerns within 2 hours and asked about cancelling. Julian text back and asked "Who had I been talking to". Would not return my calls, but stated I needed to contact customer support, so I did. I also emailed the same day of my request to cancel for a refund. (2 hours). I did receive verbal confirmation that the email request had been received, required a review and could take 7-14 business day. 9/28, I received a text message from Tatyana stating that my pick up was scheduled for the next day, between 12 pm and 4 pm. When I responded, informing her that I had not scheduled any pick up and asking for an explanation, Tatyana apologized and stated that her message was sent in error. She mentioned that she had noticed my cancellation. I also inquired about the status of my refund and received the response, "I can assist you on Monday."

10/2, I reached out again as I had been unable to connect with anyone over the phone regarding my request. Tatyana's reply was, "Good Afternoon, upon checking, it appears that you are not eligible for a refund as it has surpassed the cancellation deadline." I called for clarification, at which point she stated that the 72-hour cancellation deadline had already passed and that it was a management decision. After many calls I received an email from the general manager, Joseph Tucker with a comment to notice my signature on the invoice and referenced the 72- hour cancellation and the non refundable status if 1st pick up was scheduled less than 10 days. Mind you, no scheduling was done, only the deposit and estimate, no bill of lading, nor driver/dispatch contracted and the depost was pending at the time of written cancellation & refund. Everest in my opinion, is a company that engages in exploitative practices towards its customers, seemingly convinced of the legitimacy of their actions. I strongly recommend thoroughly researching Everest Relocation and reviewing all pertinent information before entering into any agreements or making any financial commitments and urge anyone considering hiring Everest Relocation to exercise caution and discretion due to their subpar customer service. Unfortunately, Chase Bank was unsuccessful in returning the $645.

If I could give negative stars I would….. absolute scam. I made a reservation and canceled it the same day and was told my $600 refund for the deposit would be returned… it never was. I tried emailing calling everything I could but just got the runaround and eventually gave up. DO NOT USE THEM! still never got the $600 back it’s been a year….

I disputed a charge for $534.02 since the movers were 3 days late and when they did show up, they were up charging me by 100%+. I was signed a quote after creating an inventory of my boxes and furniture with their rep and paid a deposit to for my furniture to be picked up on an agreed upon day. They didn’t show up nor did they call. I kept calling and texting the agent I paid/scheduled with and no answer. He finally calls back when I asked for my money back and promised they’d show up the next morning. They finally show up at 4pm and they start speaking a foreign language and going around and surveying my stuff. The leader comes back with hand written quote and says I’ve to pay X now and X upon delivery, almost tripling my quoted amount! I tell him I cannot afford that and he stays rushing me to pay, this causing me to cancel since our original contract was completely voided at this time. BUT Chase Bank rejected my disputed deposit of $534.02. Beyond livid!!!! Don’t trust this vendor!!!!

Very poor customer service. I don’t even know where to begin. Everest is a broker and has little or no control over the actual movers. Which is understandable, but then they don’t communicate anything - status, reconfirmation, walk through etc. - clearly. While their managing partner , Tim , jumped in to help towards the end, they still stood me up on my car transport. Plus they had a disgruntled employee who swore at me and used the N word when I called to follow up (they claim to have terminated that employee, but he picked up the mainline when I had called!). I paid a packet for moving my goods from NJ to West Coast and got treated very shabbily with the actual movers (United Pro - another review, different story🤦🏻) damaging my special needs son’s treadmill beyond reassembly or repair. Like I said, I don’t know where to start but this is a company I would avoid even if they paid me to use them🤣

Do not work with Everest Relocation, highly likely you’ll get ripped off. After signing with them (when I was assured I could cancel within 3 days for a full refund of my deposit), I found out through on-line complaints they often show up and demand significantly higher fees and essentially hold your move hostage. Upon discovering this, I called to cancel and ask for the refund I was promised by Matt. They assured me I’d get my refund, the move was canceled, and there was nothing more to do. Matt even convinced me to give them another shot to provide an accurate estimate, but then never provided one. After that, I got the runaround (send us your request again…now we need an explanation of why you cancelled…oh you canceled too late…no, it wasn't too late, but it’s too close to your move…you can use the refund for your next move, etc…) When I called their bluff and tried to book a small move for the remainder of our stuff, they demanded more money and told me they already gave my deposit to the first movers (the ones they said they canceled).

Detail: On July 11, I spoke with Matthew Murphy. He confirmed verbally 3 times that I could cancel for a full refund if I found a better price up until 3 days before my move.

After getting more quotes that all came to $8,000 and seeing some terrible reviews of Everest, I came to the belief that their quote of $4,000 or so was too good to be true and that they would charge me much more when they came to actually pick up my items. On July 12 I was contacted by Tim with Quality Assurance and I shared these concerns. He asked me to send a more detailed list of my items and he would validate the quote. He put me off saying he had to take his son to the hospital but asked me to send my detailed packing list which I did. Next day he texted me they would figure it out or they would “take care of it.” There is so much more but Google has a character limit. They dodged, weaved, made excuses, lied and failed to accept their employees gave me wrong information that ensured it wasn't even possible for me to book a move with them. And kept my $1000 deposit anyway. And I have documentation on all of it, but they don't care. If they can take your money, they will. Joseph, Tim and Jacob also were part of the scam.

Shady. Don’t lose your money during this stressful time. If you have to use a mover, use one that had high ratings and a history of good service.

DON’T USE THESE INCOMPETENT FRAUDS!!

For the love of God and everything dear, stay away from these charlatans. I had the worst experience with them. Where do I even start?

In the beginning, they act all nice and professional by replying to emails, calls and messages but as soon as you sign the contract and send in your deposit, they suddenly drop the act. It becomes almost impossible to reach them and when you do reach them, they can’t give you any reasonable solutions or updates with a promise to call you back which they never do.

They are not even the actual movers but middlemen and they somehow manage to contract the job to another moving company even worse than them. They quoted me at $1700 but the other company showed up and said it’s gonna cost $3000 for some stupid reason about space. If i could give negative stars I will.

Please please go somewhere else. RUN AWAY FROM. THESE CROOKS

THIS IS A SCAM

I would give negative stars if I could. All they want is to take your money and make you angry.

The wrong quoted us and charged us extra when they came to pick up our stuffs.

We moved and waited for 3 weeks but our stuffs never came.
We tried to reach out many times, but they they never gave us an answer where our stuffs were at. Jacob was the one who talked to us over the phone. He always said to give him time to figure it out then he would call back but he never did.

The whole process they were giving us attitude and poor customer service. We told them we would file a report to the police because we never knew what happened to our stuffs after 2 months. and they finally delivered our stuffs a week after that call.

However, they didn't even give us 24 hours notice before the delivery. They called at noon today and said they would deliver the next day around 9am. We already had important appointment at 9:50 and wouldn't be home. So I asked if they can deliver a bit earlier or later during the day. They said no and that was the only time and date they could deliver or else we would have to wait more time to get our stuffs.

We're trying to contact them to get a discount. If they're not making up for breaching the contract, we will file a lawsuit.

No one should ever get scammed like this again.

Most unprofessional, unorganized company I've ever done business with. They do not inform you, the out source all their work and do not tell you!!! The estimated cost was $2181.00, after the movers loaded my belongings the price jumped up too $3656.99. Professionalism is not a part of their business structure. Manager's say they will call dispatch and call you back and never do. Then explain once you've totally lost your temper, they have 30 days to deliver my belongings. Would NOT recommend using this company!!!

WARNING THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!! They give you a cheap quote on the phone on purpose to get your attention!!! They ask you what exactly you are you moving. They write it all on a quote sheet and tell you all your stuff will take this much "CUBIC FEET" on the truck. (Obviously we trust what the salesman is saying).
The truck arrives at my house and driver says all your stuff will NOT FIT in the truck. Salesman only gave you this amount of "QUBIC FEET" and you need much much much more!!! How much MORE MONEY will it cost me to move all my stuff thats listed on estimate??? He says at least $2,000!!! Long story short I call my salesman, customer service and manager. They all tell me I have to pay more money! I argue and fight with them to get my deposit back! Nothing worked
Basically they say this is the amount you need to pay TAKE OR LEAVE IT!!
If I don't pay they hold my furniture HOSTAGE till they get there money.

My initial estimate for all my stuff itemized was $1,811
After drives loaded all my stuff it cost me $4,004 outrageous!!!

WARNING DO NOT USE THEM THEY ARE SCAMMING YOU OUT OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS!!!!
