As soon as I walked in I felt the good vibes! Service was great.
Inside is cute, with books and decor. Reminds me of somewhere you would meet up with your friends, drink & eat and not realize where the time went, there is no wifi and I guess that is why.
I also knew i absolutely needed to try some of their pasties. I decided on a chicken empanada and beef pastelito. Soo good! Both stuffed with the right amount of meat. Chicken was seasoned and not dry. My iced cafe con leche was superb. So picky with it but it was strong and also rich and sweet. I was pleasantly surprised.

Side note: as I was there a man came in I guess asking people for money/food. He sat down and took out a couple of prescription medications talking about how he had just left Jackson hospital and has a severe heart failure. The manager was so polite asking him to please put away his medications and even offered this man some pastries. The man then decided to cause a scene by standing up and screaming in the middle of the restaurant that he had a heart failure and all he was being offered was pastries. How entitled must you feel to not only turn down the pastries but cause a scene about it. I felt bad bc the manager seemed uncomfortable for the customers but he did no wrong. And with all that being said the manager still showed kindness and asked the man if he needed any assistance with picking something else off the menu

My boyfriend and I were in a rush so didn't get the chance to dine in. We only got take out. We asked the host for sandwich recs and these recs did not disappoint. We got the caleña, madurita, callejero and a sachi mocha. We can see any of these sandwiches being our favorite - depending on the day. Tinta is a neighborhood gem - crowded with locals, in a harmonious way. We can't wait to come back and try the pastries.

Tinta y Cafe in Miami Shores is an absolute gem! I recently tried their sandwiches and croquetas, and it was a taste of perfection. Pair that with their rich and robust coffee, and you have a match made in foodie heaven. The warm atmosphere and friendly staff make this hidden gem even more special. As a local, I can't believe I hadn't discovered this location sooner. If you're in the area, don't miss the chance to try their authentic Cuban cuisine!

Tinta y Café, very good experience, quality, friendliness and a very cozy atmosphere to have a delicious coffee, something light to eat and share with friends. Very good service from all their employees, exquisite coffee made me remember those of Italy, Patria sandwich, very good!!!!!. Tinta y café is a quiet place with a cozy atmosphere, its employees are very helpful, they speak English and Spanish as well as explaining the menu and giving recommendations.

Wow! Love the energy, decor, super friendly staff and community of this place. The food was the BEST cafe food I have ever had! No substitutions on their sandwiches had me feeling a way at first, but the server explained they are perfect as is and she was so right! We had the Game 7 and the Bori and everything was super fresh and delicious. The coffee and hot chocolate were sublime! This is my new home cafe!

One of the best Cuban pressed sandwiches I’ve had. Neighborhood, family vibe where people know your name. Nelly, the owner is a really warm person and pays attention to details in her establishment. Their café con leches were really good as well. Cozy seating arrangements including one large table where different parties can share a table.

We discovered Tinta Y Cafe by chance. We were so pleased with everything that we made it a point to start every morning of our vacation there. The sandwiches, pastries and coffee were great. Most importantly the service was outstanding: friendly, accommodating, attentive.

Wow and in my own neighborhood all this time. Tinta y Cafe is an outstanding Cafe. It has outdoor seating, if that's your thing. Indoor seating is very nice. Service and quality of food though is where they steal the show! I had a Cafe con Leche and a breakfast sandwich. So good!

The food is so good and fresh! I love the decor and let’s just say that their request to put away the electronic devices and have a conversation just won them my heart. You typically find coffee shops to work or study but this one is to enrich and cultivate relationships. Loved it!

Just stopped by for lunch and ate the Tinta Y Cafe sandwich (pork, prosciutto, manchego cheese, roasted red peppers, caramelized onions) and the Callejero sandwich (chicken, prosciutto, cantimpalo, manchego cheese,
caramelized onions, cilantro mayo). All I have to say is WOW. Everything was extremely tasty and cooked perfectly. The combinations in each of these are just bursting with flavors. Highly recommend this spot!

Best Cuban sandwich I’ve ever had. Waitress told us they import the ham and mortadella from Spain, the pork was seasoned and slow cooked to perfection, and the mustard Swiss pickles were the right proportion. And the bread was excellent, like a crispy cloud

Great place, free parking. I enjoyed their signature “el Tinta y cafe” sandwich in mini (7”; reg: 12”) and the iced coffee. The caramelized onions goes very well in the sandwich and I’d be back to try the Madurito sandwich soon.

Do note that they have a no electronic devices policy. I had intended to spend more time there to work on my iPad but had to leave earlier than expected.

Lovely place for lunch, delicious sandwiches (the madurito is amazing) and the flan is quite something. Staff is friendly and prices are reasonable.

Tinta y Cafe is such a great spot to stop at and have an awesome cup of coffee or one of their famous sandwiches. The atmosphere when you walk in is really great from the quick service, friendly baristas and the surroundings of great art and photography. One thing I really liked was being able to sit down and have a delicious cup of cafe con leche was their cool collection of books you can read and some books have awesome photography shots taken by Carlos Santamarina, the owner of Tinta y Cafe. I would recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a cool hangout spot or even to have a easy first date to break the ice.
