Panther Run Elementary

We intentionally bought our home due to the school zone having one of the best educational schools in the county. PRE is the top-notch public school in palm beach county, and the principal truly cares for the well-being of all students. The negative reviews are unfounded, one is complaining about dress code which is the county's regulation not the school itself, and the other reviewer is somehow making an excuse for their child's academic performance based on contributions and donations to the school?! That is ridiculous and obviously they are not taking responsibility for their own child. As a parent, you need to be involved at home and communicate with teachers about any issues. All the teachers and staff are so professional and it is apparent they really love what they do, I am so happy with the school and its positive environment.

Best start to education. My twins started VPK there with Mrs. Greenspan. What a wonderful experience with this school. The staff at this school is amazing!

Panther run is the worst school in the history of schools. I’m originally from Syracuse New York moved to Florida Wellington truly 2 1/2 years ago. I have eight children my oldest is 21 years old I’ve never had problems with a school until I move to Wellington and my children started attending panther run. Mrs De La Vega the principal is the worst principle of ever had to deal with in my life. My children have been bullied by teachers, they have changed their uniforms in school because they didn’t have the proper shirt color the teacher requested that day. Remind you it was school appropriate and it was very clean for I do not send my children to school messy and dirty. I have two children that are IEP and another one that is pretty close to go in that way. I feel the school only cares about ratings and presentation. Do not care about the students at all.
My daughters are getting extra help with everything according to the school. If that is the case why are they so far behind. My girls are far from being stupid and I feel they make them stupid so they can get money for different help that each child gets. I was told by a no name person that half of the kids in each class are failing what is going on there ? something wrong with the way they’re being taught to or not being taught. My daughter that is in kindergarten Can tell you what her uncle was wearing 10 months ago. Yet they want to retain her and when we said no they went over our head and supposedly it’s legal. Somebody has to fight for these kids and I have myself and other moms that are willing to do so I really hope somebody out there reads my review and gets on board and helps. These kids should not have to suffer because of these teachers in this principle. Kids first always. They messed with the wrong moms. I will fight for my daughter and anybody else’s child.

This school’s principal is a horrible one. She reports incidents that don’t need to be reported and ignores things that need serious attention. She doesn’t allow children to wear colored polos other than white, black, navy blue, and black. Thank you for showing children to be creative!! You’re doing a great job :/. Also don’t you think teachers should actually do there job and teach students. If teachers did there job, kindergarteners wouldn’t have to redo kindergarten. When this school has an issue with a students parent, they take it out on students. One time there was a child who was 13, let me remind you that’s above the age of legal babysitting in Florida, and there was a teacher who screamed at her because she was watching her three siblings before they go to school. They screamed at her so badly that she made the 13 year old girl cry. After her parents go involved the principal didn’t want the teacher to apologize. The family was in the right, yet they treated the family as they were wrong. I highly don’t suggest this school unless you want unworking teachers and a greedy principal.

Panther Run is a okay overall but they need a new principal. i do not recommend this schoool until there's a new principal. The new principal changed the dress code so the children can only wear four different color polos and can't even wear the sweatshirt they want over top of them. I think that is limiting the children's creativity and that if they limit it even more then they will have no more creativity.

I’m not really fond of this school. This school is extremely insensitive and uncaring about any of the children who don’t pay money. If you donate to the school constantly or pay for aftercare, your child(ren) isn’t/aren’t failing. Unfortunately, if you don’t donate any money to the school then your child(ren) is/are failing and apparently has a learning disability. I think it’s wrong that Panther Run Elementary is doing that. It’s extremely wrong that they are labeling children. What did the children do so wrong for them to deserve the way Panther Run treats them. I highly don’t recommend this school and if you’re thinking about putting your children in this school, please do yourself a favor and don’t. If you do then you’ll children will be labeled like there is something wrong with them.
