Holiday Inn Miami West - Airport Area, an IHG Hotel

Hotel is nice and clean. The building is a little dated, but the furnishing looks brand new. Everything as expected from a holiday inn. The staff were all extremely kind caring. Beds were comfortable, and daily room service is a plus.
Keep in mind the hotel is located a few feet from a major highway, and in the room with balcony, all the noise comes straight into the room, as the doors don't seal well.

The hotel is located farther from the Miami International than other hotels, but it is walking distance to a mall, Outback Steakhouse, and other restaurants. The room was the usual.. comfortable and clean. Breakfast buffet was tasty. The airport shuttle in the morning traffic was only about 30-40 minutes. Catching the shuttle to the hotel was a 3 hour wait and took 2 calls to the hotel. It flashed by at about 2 hours in with someone riding in the front seat with the driver. I expected it would circle back after dropping outbound passengers, but it didn't. The van is all black with no markings on the left side or front, and only a small logo and "Miami West" on the passenger door. Every Holiday Inn has its own shuttle(usually white), so be sure to ask the driver where he is going. Next time I will just take Uber or a Taxi to the hotel.

Rooms were quite clean despite the building and furnishings being old. Breakfast was really good with plenty of options. Location wise it’s pretty close to hospitals so can get quite noisy at times.

Staff was amazing. Good breakfast and clean rooms. Shoutout to the maintenance worker who dealt with my beginner level Spanish and kept trying to find solutions. Please give him a bonus! He was the best maintenance worker I’ve met EVER.

Liked this hotel...most of the staff were kind. A few people had a problem with where we parked and left a note on our vehicle saying that it was staff only parking. At the time there were no lots specifying that there was parking for staff only. Tried clearing 8t up with the front desk and that didn't work so I sent an email to Corp but I am not sure if it ever went through either.

The location was great. Staff was friendly especially Kevin and Rual. Rual is a people's person. He was super helpful. Room was spacious. Daily housekeeping and breakfast was a bonus. Only thing missing in the room was a microwave.

Bathroom sink drain and tub drain had an odor. Fridge was leaking. Room was clean and linens were satisfactory. Prime location for shopping and eating out.

Front desk personnel are very friendly,courteous and helpful! One of my rooms had no air conditioning and Israel and nice Colombian lady (sorry i forgot your name) quickly re accommodates us in another room. Pool area is very nice. We would definitely come back:)

Everything great about this hotel my stay here is very comfortable, when I come again I'll be back here again I had to use my wheelchair and I got a wheelchair access room that workfor me love this place.

We stayed for 7 days.
Front desk provided exceptional service.
Breakfast was very good and reasonable. Food was much better compared to any nearby restaurants in terms of quality, quantity and prices.
Amenities are well maintained: pool, common lobby area, elevators, gym, etc.
Microwave is provided in the lobby. But we didn’t find it to be a big issue.
Lot of parking space available.
I’d definitely recommend for a affordable and comfortable stay in Miami area!

Beautiful room, excellent service, good food. Nice pool too. The people working at the front desk were very friendly. If you take a shuttle from the airport expect delays in the afternoon. Miami has a lot of traffic during this time.

Great accommodations at Front Desk. Positive Check-in Experience! Smiling faces, working to satisfy each guest one after the other. Spot Light shines on Danielle, Ya'Lidia, and others who hold down the front desk. Always presenting themselves pleasantly with smiles. There's a full breakfast, and it is ready early with a variety of foods to fill up on. Hot tea and coffee, orange juice and lemon/lime water. I love their breakfast buffet at this Holiday Inn. Lots of free parking for guests, additional parking in three level garage. Holiday Inn Miami-West Hialeah Garden is the place.

My boyfriend and his family that came from Brazil stayed at this hotel for 10 days and they had an amazing experience. The hotel's location is perfect, it's close to everything from a Walmart to Westland Mall and it's close to other places like Dolphin mall and Dadeland mall which is like 20-30 minutes away only. They enjoyed the breakfast, the pool and the way the hotel was always clean. The staff at the front desk were always nice and helpful whenever my boyfriend had a problem. An example would be that my boyfriend forgot a suit and three dress shirts in his hotel room after checking out and the hotel staff Robert was super helpful in staying communicated with my boyfriend and had it ready in less than an hour for me to go pick it up. Whenever a family member comes to visit Miami, I always have them book at this hotel. It's close to my house and to everything else and the service is always amazing so I recommend this hotel to everyone that is visiting miami :)

No words for the services of this hotel. Trained and educated professionals. Best quality service. Clean hotel with a wonderful smell. When you enter the room the smell is still very pleasant! Outside pool with covered and uncovered parking. When I come to Miami again I already know where I want to stay! 100%

The staff is very friendly and everything is very clean here! The bar downstairs had good food and drinks as well. There’s also a little gift shop to get small thing you may have forgotten or something to remember your stay! Would happily stay here again !

Friendly, helpful staff (they even helped me use the Uber app for the first time) great advice on places to go in the area. Clean comfortable room. Great pool. The restaurant staff were amazing. Definitely going to be back again.

We had a great time here. Very clean and the beds were so comfortable. Breakfast was great too.
