Ocala Downtown Diner

Let me start off by saying this is a small turn dinner, however it is bigger inside than it appears when pulling up to it. Both of the lunch dishes we received were tasty and well proportioned.
Our server was polite and kept coming back to check on us.
Everything inside the dining area was clean and organized nicely. The only thing I notice was that the bathroom could really use a scraping and repainting.

We were in town for an event and visited here for a late breakfast. This was the quintessential small town diner with delicious food, friendly staff and excellent prices. The biscuits and gravy was outstanding and the pancakes were generous in portion and perfectly cooked. Don't forget to try the spuds!
We are so glad we came across this place and if we find ourselves in Ocala again, we will be back!

Excellent vegan options and fantastic fast service! Sat outside in front on a rickety table that hopefully got replaced. We got the impossible burger, impossible Philly, smothered stuffer and a waffle. Everything was delicious. The grits could have used some salt. The bread on that Philly was soft and perfect. Standout was the waffle, one of the best ever! Our server was great! Highly recommended for delicious diner food!

We chose this location because of their dairy-free and vegan options. It's amazing to find a diner with these options. The staff were all friendly and explained the different options. Their sweet potato fries are the best we've had in a long time. Cooked to perfection with a great crisp. We all tried different burgers and they were all delicious. We will definitely go back. So many more things to try.

I had some business downtown, so I stopped in for breakfast. I was greeted warmly. The place was busy so I decided to sit at the counter. I ordered a sausage egg and cheese on an everything bagel. It came out quick with a hot cup of coffee. The staff were attentive and the food was done right. This is a good breakfast spot.

Old time diner; quaint. Food was good, but service was extraordinary. Place was almost filled, but able to order quickly and got food in timely fashion. (Their waitresses really hustled and moved quickly to handle the crowd. Kudos. Made the visit worthwhile.)

The VEGAN menu was the most extensive we have experienced!! The service was PERFECT!! WE arrived 35 minutes before close and never felt rushed...we even took food home. Chef kiss DEF will be back!!

Great way to start off father's day! Amazing service as soon as we walked in.
The food was perfect. The stuffed vegan waffles hit the spot. Nice place to bring kids and plenty of vegan options. We will be back!!!

I love local places like this, you know your in a local favorite when you see every table filled. The staff is awesome, I ordered the Hearty breakfast and told the waitress I wanted bacon for my meat she then asked about the other items and I said whatever you choose I'm good with my meal was awesome. My wife had the BTL, son had Belgian waffle and my mom had the 2-2-2 everything came out quickly, the portions were large and tasted great. From now on if I'm going through Ocala this is the spot I'm going too to eat. I also love the fact that I could contribute to First Responders eating while on duty.

I used to be a strict vegan, now I do eat occasional fish. This is the only restaurant in Ocala that I know of that really caters to vegans. The food was delicious even though the plates had processed “chikn’ and soy meat. I loved the burrito with chikn . And, the side of taters were delicious. Atmosphere reminded me of an old fashioned NY diner. Some creative vegan dishes without the highly processed “meats” would be really welcomed. Definitely we will be back.

We were there at the busiest time, I’m sure—Sunday brunch!! We were at a mountain bike race event at the park nearby and looking for something quick!
This was beyond our wildest dreams
because two are gluten free and one dairy free—they met all expectations! I had
French Toast with cinnamon apples—Awesome!! We also had omelets and gluten free toast/with eggs (I think)! Coffee and iced tea with lemonade—perfect! Nice people on top of all that!

The food always hits the spot! & without a long wait. Servers are friendly and attentive. The only thing about this dinner is the seating. You sit very close to other tables. My first time here was great I had breakfast with my boyfriend while a couple next to us had lunch. The woman’s sweet potatoes fries looked so tempting; so I came back. I got a burger and those sweet potato fries tasted just as good as they looked!!! Must try this place I don’t recommend big groups though. The cheese on this burger was sooooo good 👍🏽(I added the mushrooms)

A local suggested this place for breakfast. I was super excited to arrive and see that they had a HUGE vegan menu in addition to their regular menu! Shake and food was delicious. Service was phenomenal everyone was so nice!! Will def be back next time I’m in town.

Wow! Vegan menu is amazing!!! The burrito with fries was to die for. Very impressed how the veggies were NOT oily. Staff was very friendly. I would eat here every day if I could.

Location is pretty nondescript, but the service was AMAZING and the food was great. Our server was so cheerful and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Highly highly recommend if you’re in the area, near Ocala or on a road trip driving through and looking for authentic dinner experience! I love that they had a full vegan menu! I ordered the most ridiculous thing I saw on the menu, and I'm glad I did. It was delicious. May go for something a little healthier next time since there are so many vegan options.

I enjoy this place. The food is a good price with great quality and quality. The staff are always friendly and happy to see customers. Feels like family when you go in. Everyone's always so welcoming.
