Brick & Iron Cafe

Any place that has a dog as a greeter is always high on my list. To the menu now....this place has the best acai bowls we have found between Marion and Citrus County. The staff were all very friendly and explained the menu and the choices. You can make a custom bowl or choose a staff favorite or seasonal option. The fruit was all very fresh and some of their nut butters are homemade. We will definitely be visiting here again to try more items including their coffees. We went on a Saturday and the Ocala Farmers Market is within walking distance which was an added bonus. Highly recommend!!!

I love everything about this place. So much so that I will list out the specific things that I love most (in no particular order); the welcoming & cozy environment, Karen & the girls, Isabelle, Rothgar, the cinnamon lattes, the bowl of the month (on any given month, just yes), the meat sticks, their incredible supplement selection but specifically the cinnamon cookie batter protein powder, the random Ted appearances & most importantly the love that goes into everything they create! In a world filled with poor food choices everywhere you look, this is a place you can go and enjoy something delicious & healthy! You just cant beat that.

MY FEB BOWL OF THE MONTH WAS INCREDIBLE! Tasty, packed full of toppings, and so pretty that I had to snap a photo! Karen and her girls never fail to make a bowl that exceeds all expectations.

Wow! What a fantastic and healthy place to eat one of the delicious items they have to offer. The smoothies and acai bowls are out of this world, super delicious, filling and healthy. The October Pumpkin spice bowl is 👌.

We ate there every morning after our workout, and it felt great to eat a good quality breakfast bowl. We loved this place and made our short visit to Ocala even better.

Amazing. Accaii Bowls. I recommend the bowl of the month always great. Can't go wrong. It's my favorite place to eat every Saturday after working out. Double Protein on any bowl.

Amazing energy, love the gym ethics as well.
You can tell the alignment with the mind, body and soul is the root. Spoke to the owner and felt very welcomed and didn’t feel like a bother. Glad I found this gem 🤌🏽

Stopped here several times after workouts while on the road in Ocala. Loved everything I tried, including a great smoothie and an amazing açaí bowl with all sorts of healthy & delicious toppings. The bowl was AMAZING!!!!! Probably the best I’ve ever had AND filling! Didn’t want Smoothie King due to the high sugar and this place had custom nut butters and all sorts of healthy options. Glad I found this spot and I will return.

The acai bowls are really good and the owner is really nice. The owners kids and dog are usually there which makes the environment feel safe and inviting:). You can eat there or have it to go and it's pretty cheap for the good amount that you're getting. I like this place a lot, and I'll be visiting more:)

Stopped in for a late afternoon pick me up and found this "gym" of a Cafe! One of us had a delicious housemade honey lavender and cinnamon latte and I enjoyed a chocolate peanut butter protein shake, while having pleasant conversation with the owner. Will definitely stop here again while in Ocala, and plan to drop in for a crossfit session next door!

Absolutely love Brick & Iron Cafe! We've enjoyed smoothie bowls, iced coffees and green tea. I love that I leave comfortably full and REFRESHED! I also appreciate the gluten free granola topping and understanding of allergies. The atmosphere is rustic and cozy with sweet customer service.

Amazing locally owned coffee shop and cafe. Stopped in on the way through town and got a house-made honey lavender latte (yum!), a lavender tea latte for my 8 year old, and a bulletproof for my husband. Definitely will stop when we are in the area again. The kids loved the German shepherd that slept in the middle of the cafe our entire visit. He was so sweet.

Absolutely amazing every time I go. And oh my gosh I can’t say enough about the homemade lavender honey latte! She uses real lavender and real ingredients in all of the options here. You can definitely tell Karen & the girls put passion into every bowl! You will not be disappointed.

Finally, fulfilling açaí bowls in Ocala. This place did not disappoint. I got to College so I need something to keep me awake and fresh. Walking in and greeted by a dog definitely got me awake lol but the açaí bowls are crunchy, fresh and full👌🏾will be coming back ! and staff was so nice and helped me pick as much as I wanted in my bowl! 😊

I ordered a custom acai bowl that was on point! Fresh ingredients and a generous serving. Service was top notch too! Stop by for some healthy fuel.

I absolutely love this place! By far the best smoothies and protein bowls around. Locally owned, and the owner is AMAZING. If there’s a smoothie you’re thinking of, she can probably make it for you. My absolute FAVORITE is the chocolate peanut butter. Just the right amount of all the flavors and absolutely delicious. Looking something a little more exotic, I recommend “The Ted”.
