My family's been going here for years. We mainly buy construction and marine hardware. It's about time we left a review!
Southern Blade is a local hardware supply shop in Ocala. They carry almost everything when it comes to fasteners. This includes brass fittings, drill bits, saw blades, taps and dies, stainless, galvanized, grade 2, 5, and 8 bolts, metric, etc. If the Lowes or Home Depot doesn't have it, you can bet Southern Blade does. Prices are either in line or cheaper than anywhere else, and the staff are extremely knowledgeable. Buying in bulk is also a huge money and time saver. I do most of my own automotive work and research. These folks are the only people I trust when it comes to fasteners, especially on my vehicles. I go there first and if they don't have something, they point me in the right direction. I highly recommend them and always will.

When you need a bolt or screw this is the best place in Ocala to get it. I have obtained several fastners that were not available any place else. Staff is very helpful and friendly.
I like going in to talk with them and obtain advise. Try it you will like it. 👍

This place was awesome! They were so helpful and knew their inventory. They located the bolt I needed in 2 seconds when no one else even had it, and it didn’t cost an arm and a leg.

I was trying to find screws for a pipe die tool that I refurbished and the local hardware store didn’t have this particular size. The hardware store said the screws were an un-common size. Southern Blade had plenty of them.

the company i started working for has been buying hardware from Southern Blade for about the last ten years. When I had to make an order for 3 inch wood screws, I accidentally ordered a more expensive coated screw. When Chris recognized the account and the odd purchase he called me back to confirm that the order was correct. I quickly realized the mistake and changed the order. He could have easily just let me order the wrong thing and make a little extra money for the store but he did the stand up thing and helped me out. I will now be making purchases from Southern Blade for my personal projects as well.
