Eat Here

This place was incredible. We were deciding on where to eat when we saw the “Eat Here” sign. We knew we had to stop in. Our server Shaun was absolutely outstanding and made our night (both nights... yes, we care here twice in a matter or 2 days. It was THAT GOOD) and was very knowledgeable. He gave great conversation and it was accompanied by some of the best food I’ve had. I got the French onion soup which was incredible, and I got a smaller portion of the Lobster and Shrimp tacos. They were the BEST lobster and shrimp tacos I’ve ever had, the playful recipe worked beautifully together. My partner got the grilled cheese which is anything but average. It was the most delicious well made grilled cheese I’ve consumed. My partner also got the shrimp and lobster tacos.
It was so good we had to come back again before we left the island, so two days later we came back and I had the special that Shaun suggested, it was a beautiful flaky white dense fish with a sun dried tomato pesto that was to die for. My partner got the Shrimp with mashed potatoes, the shrimp was so fresh you could taste the sea! We ended each night with their homemade key lime pie, a perfect finish. Please eat here if you get the chance!

Very creative eclectic menu options. Excellent wine and beer options including local craft beers. Very crowded so make sure you make reservations early. Great friendly service, Overall positive dining experience. Highly recommended.

I was thoroughly impressed by Eat Here. The menu and quality of the food was surprising considering the appearance of the signage from the road which suggests a more casual restaurant, but that's not a complaint. Our party was seated outside, severed drinks quickly and ordered a few starters, which were all delicious. The gulf shrimp entree was exceptional. The shrimp were huge and the sauce they were served with was so good I had to ask for more bread to make sure I didn't leave any behind. Eat Here is a great spot for a moderately upscale meal that will not disappoint and I highly recommend trying it if you're on Anna Maria Island!

This restaurant is small with bistro casual vibe. The food was delicious and generous portions. We had the filet and the ribs. Servers are helpful, attentive and friendly. Gourmet food prepared in a more informal location. We will be back soon.

Wonderful little restaurant with great atmosphere and tasty food. Had the blackened shrimp fish taco and it was unbelievably fresh and fruity.

Casual upscale dinning. poutine house fries and debris demi-glace, with a healthy dose of parmesan, added rich bites of foiegras- delicious

Great food at reasonable prices. My wife +I ate here 3 times and we're never disappointed. The roasted vegetables we're good enough that my wife ordered them all three times. I had two different fish entrees and a nightly special pork taco. I'd order them all again. Cooked well, quality ingredients, ample portions, tasted great. Servers treated us fantastic the night we just had water with dinner and the night we split a bottle of wine.

The food was incredible - I mean that. I was not expecting such outstanding, gourmet food at a casual restaurant. We totally enjoyed the informal decor. My appetizer (the hummus platter) and dinner (swordfish) was some of the best I have ever experienced. My wife said that her tenderloin was literally, the best she has ever tried. And, while the food was spectacular, so was the staff. Everyone was friendly (and sincere in their friendliness) and even more, they were there when needed but without being over-done. Our waitress was excellent, and really made sure our dinner experience was wonderful. It was a fun and, might I add, delicious evening.

Truly phenomenal! This was the best meal we’ve had in 9 months since quarantine began. So attentive to our allergy concerns and everything was absolutely delicious! The sweet corn casserole / corn bread concoction was SO good!!

My wife and I have been going to Anna Maria for the past 7 years and try to go to Beach Bistro at least once during our stay. Much to our disappointment (but full understanding) Beach Bistro has been closed due to the pandemic. Happy to see that Eat Here did not miss a beat!! Not only did the take out menu offer items from Eat Here, but also from Beach Bistro (and cocktails from the Doctor's Office)! We split many items but wanted to say how wonderful the seafood pasta was! Also, the deals offered for wine were not only great for us, but. very business savvy way to turn over inventory to get ready for a full re-open. The Owners and staff of all 3 of these locations never fail to impress. Looking forward to our next trip !!!

Delicious food! A small restaurant with high quality food. Not fancy or dressy, they served crackers and pimento to start. The stew was delicious, the lobster tacos good but over filled and the mango salsa was too sweet for my taste, but I don't like sweet. The waitstaff was kind and fast.

WOW! Just returned from an amazing dinner with my wife and son -- couldn't be more pleased with the food and service. I had the meat loaf and it was the best I've ever had, and I'm stuffed full. Great portions! Great service! Budget friendly. Wife (and son) really enjoyed their pizza as well. WE WILL BE BACK!

The shrimp & lobster tacos are amazing! I ate at Eat Here on Halloween night when I was visiting Anna Maria and they took great care of my elderly mother. The meal was so good that after my wife and daughter arrived the next day I brought them to Eat Here again. We went again later in the week and every time it was excellent food and service.

Easy online ordering, easy pickup, bonus takeout cocktails! Most importantly the food was delicious. Fish tacos, lobster tacos, and clam linguini were all perfect. These guys have made the most of COVID dining restrictions and nailed takeout service. Plus they threw in a couple bags each of homemade chips and caramel bacon popcorn.Can’t wait to come back and dine in!

Read the reviews then went. Meatloaf awesome. There was four and our party. Two adults two children. Everybody like their food. Was not your average French fry chicken nugget dive. Read the reviews about the pizza and then we seen one returned. So don't get the pizza. They do not except large groups over eight. They are owned by the bistro. Everything was perfect. It is on the pricier side. Highly recommend if you have the money. Planning on eating there again.

Shaun was our server. Our first time, his 3rd day here. What a great experience. When we first arrived there was a 30 minute wait to be seated. Shaun offered to have us wait outside in his section and have a drink while we waited. Turns out we had the best seats in the house! And he had the best recommendations from the beer and wine to the menu items. Wife and I had the small portions of our meals and they were definitely enough. Quality is excellent, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. We will be back. Thanks Shaun.

My wife and I came here for our 12th wedding anniversary and we highly recommend Eat here for any date night! My wife had the vegan pizza, amazing! I had the burger which is now firmly in my top 10 burgers of all time list! Great beer and wine list, try the layered beers! Douglas, our server, was super friendly and knowledgeable about this unique dining experience. Well done.

One of the best places we ate on the island! Staff was very courteous & went above & beyond to make our experience memorable. Bailey was the best server we had our entire vacation. We called & asked questions regarding the menu before we arrived & Noah was so helpful & was the reason we decided to choose this restaurant for dinner that evening! If u are visiting the island this place is a must for dinner!!!

I haven't had the luxury of dining in yet, but the takeout service has been phenomenal!! Absolutely love all of food but especially the healthier veg options and recyclable packaging!!! The meatloaf is by far the best I've ever had, and really adored the garnish.

Our waiter was awesome. Young man with dark curly hair. There were 6 of us, celebrating my birthday. So we may have been a little loud. It's been years since I've had a waiter so attentive. He was fabulous.
