Our room was clean and had nice amenities. Staff were friendly, and the hotel is convenient to lots of restaurants and attractions. Wish that breakfast was free, but it didn't detract from our experience. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in this hotel December 20, 2023 - since we visited Busch Gardens- Christmas Village.

1. The Room - I’m so fussy in terms of room cleanliness, I always check beforehand. The room is very clean - even under the bed. Bedsheets/Bed are clean & comfortable. Bathroom - is neat too (no hairs/soap suds etc.). Kudos to the cleaning team!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
2. Geographically-situated - near other establishments.
3. Staff - are quick & hospitable.
4. Breakfast - it was ok, nothing spectacular (the usual Holiday Inn-USA Breakfast) but one thing I commend the kitchen staff 12/21/23. There were late guests who came in for breakfast, & the ladies cooked more for this family with little children. I was just observing & that was an extra mile of service! Bless you!

This hotel is extremely clean and friendly; however, it does have two drawbacks. When we checked in and went to our room, we noticed our hotel room door was propped open with the door latch. The hotel staff explained this was because the manager comes by and checks the work of their cleaning staff before we got our room and he locks the door when he's done checking. But ours was unchecked and the room door was left unlocked. So, anyone could have walked in and hidden in our room or hidden a camera in there before we came in. That meant we had to check the room even more before resting.

The room was extremely clean and offers 3 rooms inside of each of your rented rooms. If you rented multiple rooms like we did, you can invite your family over in the morning to your front living room area with a couch and a few seats so you can brainstorm on what you want to do that day. Meanwhile, there is a door you can close to keep your bedroom area private.

The bathroom and bedroom were extremely clean and comfortable to stay in.

A lot of reviews for this place say the breakfast down in the lobby is terrible and I would have to agree with those comments. They charge you $14.50 extra per person per day for the buffet. With that, you get terrible eggs that don't look like they're fully cooked, bacon that burnt, and watered down orange juice. Yes, they water down the orange juice so it's 80% water and they can save a few bucks. It was terrible but it was Christmas day and no other restaurant in town was open.

Everything else about this hotel was spotless though. They take their time to clean well and our two rooms were perfect. We didn't hear any other guests our entire stay so your rooms are quiet and clean. I would recommend going somewhere else for breakfast and checking your room to make sure no one is inside the closets though because of their policy to leave doors unlocked. That could be improved or the manager could just take a master key with them to ensure doors aren't left unlocked.

David the General Manager was outstanding. I haven't seen hospitality like this in almost 2 decades. I highly recommend this hotel. The room was clean and perfect, the pool and gym amazing. Staff was on time and on target.

Great place to stay and so close to downtown Williamsburg.
Check in was easy with Adam and check out with Alicia was a breeze. Room was great......quiet, clean, extra large and 2 TV's! I noticed a family having fun in the indoor pool, so bring your bathing suit!
I will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful December weekend in Colonial Williamsburg. Hotel was decorated beautifully, carols playing provided spirit and feel of Christmas. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Rooms spacious and clean. We did not eat in restaurant primarily because menu was identical as Holiday Inn we visited prior weekend.

The room was very clean and my mom really enjoyed the pool and the stay overall. Only thing adding here for the benefit of hotel staff and other travelers, if you book only using reward points it may be charged to a credit card you aren't familiar with. When they asked me which card I used during check in, I said I wasn't familiar with the card and they ended up double charging another card, which they asked for incidentals. This caused me quite some frustration but the manager and hotel staff were helpful to resolve the issue. Hope this helps better the experience for future hotel guests.

My family and I stayed here when we came up to Busch Gardens for the weekend. Great location, near restaurants and grocery store. Not too far away from the outlets. The rooms were clean, decent breakfast but was not free like other holiday inns we’ve been too. I would definitely stay here again. Great hotel for families.

My room was excellent. Clean quiet comfortable. A 40 minute walk to colonial Williamsburg, but December is cold! And go during the Christmas time activities. A surprise everywhere, plan your trip and look at the schedule.

In town for the Christmas lights at Busch Gardens. Had an issue with booking but the front desk (Gabby) gave me the information to get it worked out. Beds were great after a long drive!

This place is awesome to stay the night at, Some might argue that the air conditioner is quite noisy, it depends on the room you're staying in.I stayed in a not-so-noisy air conditioner, so I was one of the lucky ones. Although it's not the best view outside of a window, it is very close to Busch Gardens and Water Country. Also, breakfast does cost money. There is also a convenient 7-11 right across the street!

Staff was extremely friendly. Staff was polite and wished us a great day every morning we walked out. Rooms were fresh and clean. Hotel looked newly renovated. I will say the pool and pool area needed a cleaning. I would definitely stay again

Stayed at Holiday Inn and Suites over the weekend. What I likes was the cleanliness, professional staff, and location of the hotel. The rooms were nice and spacious and super clean. My family and I mostly enjoyed the pool especially the hottub. If others are wondering if breakfast is included it is not. Overall, we had a great stay!!

No complaints very nice. But not same as holiday inn express. Breakfast was a buffet but only 7 till 9 am. It felt like quick run down eat and leave. Not bad mind you staff very nice and excellent service. With a family and kids it just felt rush but food good.

It was a really nice experience. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The toilets flushed like a vacuum. The breakfast was on the pricey side but delicious. The indoor pool was clean and heated. We were a close drive to everything we wanted to see.

From the very beginning to the end, everything was great. Christopher at the front desk is a very nice gentleman and fun to talk to. The room I'm in is BEAUTIFUL. Nice, clean and spacious. Also it's nice to sit somewhere else other than the bed. At breakfast Barbara was very kind even though she was a little overwhelmed but soon after, help came. Over all am amazed and happy that you all made this trip a success.Thank you.

One of the best values for a stay in Williamsburg. We got three nights for $98 per, and the suites are very clean, modern, large, and quiet. The front desk staff is top-notch (and very funny) too. The only "downside" is that there is no continental breakfast, but you can purchase a breakfast package for just a few dollars each day and enjoy a good sit-down meal in the restaurant that is better.

What a sweet and guest friendly staff! We stayed here for a weekend trip to Williamsburg for my daughter’s sixth birthday. The staff went above and beyond to make her feel special! Our room was clean and the separate living space was perfect for early morning wake ups from the kids. The pool was clean and a really fun family activity.

I am so content with the service here. David the GM, Alisha who is the desk manager, Eric who really knows how to get things done… and even Trey the housekeeping manager make it a point that things stay in order here. I highly recommend this hotel. It’s situated perfectly to work to restaurants or W&M Collrge area and have a great time. Busch Gardens is just a 5 min drive away!

Great location! Great hotel! Clean and spacious rooms. Most hotels in area have bad reviews. This was the only good one we could find and it definitely lived up to the expectations a
