Very clean room. Employees were very helpful. It's in a great location. I would stay there again.

Stayed here after we found roaches in our room in another hotel Down the Road (Amer inn) Owner was there when we got there which was super surprising but awesome to see.

We were traveling with our hound dog and were struggling to find a hotel that would allow us to bring her. But this is a pet friendly hotel which was a life saver!

The rooms are modest but very clean and smelled fantastic. We kept running into other hotels smelling like smoke, it was nice to walk in on a clean smelling room.

It does look like there are many rooms being updated though, hopefully they are able to get them up and going soon.

SUPER affordable we stayed for a week and she gave us a great weekly rate, just over 400 for the week.

the hotel itself is just about 30 minutes from Hampton, but also about 15 minutes from the beach, walmart is about 5 minutes up the road. Plenty of food places around. Overall the location is amazing. Not much of a drive to any place you could want to go.

Theres playgrounds about 4 mins down the road as well. The kids loved playing outside, the grounds being clean and low cut grass was like a dream for them.

Will be visiting again soon on our next trip to williamsburg!

Good hotel, comfortable beds. Excellent room cleaning service. I honestly felt at home the whole time I was there. The receptionists or even the owner of the hotel helped me with anything I needed. It is close to the center, you can get there on foot.

My room was clean and the beds and sheets were very clean. We spent here 5 days and 4 nights. We just needed a place to sleep and leave our luggages because we spent must of the time out. Our personal items were safe. The place is located close to everything so we will come again any time. The breakfast due to Covid has been cancelled.

I am very pleased with the service we received during our stay. We started off with reservations at a hotel that was not smoke free friendly and was unable to stay. We stayed the night at another hotel and was not pleased with having to pay $100 a night and had to also pay for breakfast. I called travel lodge and made reservations and was able to come stay here the next day. The staff is very pleasant and on top of everything. Every time I asked for something or needed extra towels they made sure we got them. The price for 4 days was within my budget. The manager was very pleasant and helpful he made sure that we were staying in a room that was away from the smoking rooms due to my daughters respiratory problems. I will definitely be booking our vacation every year here! Thank you Travel Lodge for making our stay very pleasant and stress free and comfortable!!

I work at Busch Gardens and travel to work there. I am part time so I work weekends there. I stay here because not only is it a close distance for me to Busch Gardens, the staff are amazing and the rooms are always clean . I would recommend this hotel to anyone . For people complaining no its not the Marriott or Hilton , it's an older hotel that is very nice . The beds are so comfortable

Great Hotel!
Check in was simple and quick, and the staff was super friendly.
The room was very clean, comfortable and a bargain for the price!
It had things that a lot of more expensive high end hotels do not offer, like a fridge and a microwave! and unlike some of the other more expensive hotels that I have stayed at, that did have fridges or microwaves, they were a lot of times, not clean or had odors...but not at this hotel! the ones in my room were super clean and no odors!
they had coffee supplies and a coffee maker, ironing board, iron...hangers for clothes, a dresser, table/chairs, plenty of towels, soaps, shampoos and even a shower cap! I have been anywhere that offered a shower cap. As simple as that might seem, I really appreciate it!

The hotel is a little older, but I think it s super nice and their breakfast is perfectly fine! A lot of people complain that it isn't some buffet, well it isn't a restaurant....so what they offer is actually great. It's a way to grab a quick breakfast and be on your way.

Overall though, it was very close to everything and I enjoyed my visit and stay. I would definitely stay again and I thank the owners for the clean room, great price and courteous service.

I had a very pleasant experience. I was hesitant to all the previous bad reviews but I am very glad I took the chance. Room was clean, Quiet area, great location and friendly staff. I will definitely be staying here again.

The rooms were a bit dated but well kept and clean, the cable was good quality and we had a flat screen TV and a clean mini fridge and microwave, the water pressure was as good as we have at home, the service was speedy and friendly, and the parking was well lit. We had a service dog with us and despite their no pet policy, they were welcoming and never gave us any trouble unlike another hotel we had stayed at before only a few miles away. We enjoyed our stay and got everything we paid for. For an older hotel, it was the best experience we've had. It was the perfect weekend getaway spot for the cheapest price. 10/10, would recommend. Thank you, Travelodge Williamsburg Colonial. You guys did a great job.

Had a terrible experience at Captain john smith down the road and the guy here at the front counter assured me my room would not have a single bug or dirt anywhere and he was right. Rooms don’t have bad hotel smell, beds are super clean, bathroom was spotless the whole room is clean. 10/10 recommend this place

Reasonable Prices, Clean, Safe, and Great Staff!!

What you see is what you get!! If you are looking for reasonable pricing miles away from Jamestown Settlement and other nearby attractions this older model hotel is for you. I myself Love a bargain and this is definitely one!! I had two adjoining rooms for less than $90.00 With Tax!!
Rooms were clean with good hot water and shower pressure, plenty of clean towels, there is an elevator, they offer a continental breakfast until 10am, and have many amenities like: iron, refrigerator, hair dryer, and microwave. There is also a dominos pizza that delivers there.
Rooms were quiet and they understood our need for rooms away from others since we have children including our rambunctious todler!!
Overall: Good Room/Kind Staff/Great Price!!
Great If You Are Traveling On A Budget and Excellent For Homeschooling Parents Like Me!!

I have been coming to this hotel for 3 years straight we travel this time w neighbors rented two double bed rooms connected to help w the many knuckle head kids we got with us. And the third room the TV wasn't working however they switched it immediately and everyone is doing GREAT I appreciate the staff the owners are awesome and the Davis Family will be back in March 25th 2022 for another few nights!!!

My experience at this hotel was pleasant and breakfast was ok. I accidentally left my wallet in the room when I left the hotel and when calling for it they told me they had it stored And they made it easy for me to send it to my residence. The juice machine was very nice

Clean. It's been a long time since i stayed in a hotel that you access your room from an outside walkway. Housekeeping even fixed the bed using my son's bear, which was cute. He even left them his own tip.

Great staff they work very hard here to please people overall a very clean hotel greatly located near Busch gardens, William and Mary college, and near just about every bus line what ones aren't near here are easily reached by just simply taking a transfer not to mention it's very cheap to ride 3.50 for all day. So if I were to recommend a good place to stay it would be here it's very cheap and an overall great place that's greatly located

For $60 a night you get a lot. Channels in English and Spanish, free breakfast, conjoined bedrooms get one with 50% off, near all attractions, parking and very friendly staff, office fridge, microwave and small coffe maker, iron, iron table and hair dryer. Also a safe in the room.

It was very clean, it seemed like all the rooms were renovated and nice lg TVs. The outside could have been looking a little nicer but overall a very good experience.

Great place, very understanding on my not being able to wear a mask. Overall room was good. Slight smell of cigarette smoke when entering room.

Staff was very friendly. Customer service was outstanding, rooms neat and clean, showers hot with great shower heads... was worth the money Paid. Very satisfied.
