DoubleTree by Hilton Williamsburg

Definitely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. The receptionist offered us there famous walnut cookies. They were warm and crunchy! The room was surprisingly bigger than I thought. The staff was super nice!! Though there was a bit mildew in the ceiling, I really enjoyed this hotel. Pro tip: if you want the best room in a hotel, ask for the ones that are on the highest floor. Because they always fill the bottom up first. I haven’t been to breakfast yet but I can tell this is a nice hotel.

Did a quick overnight stay here and was pleased. Room was clean, modern, and comfortable (especially the pillows). It was a little noisy but our room was right by the 1st floor elevator, so understandable. Front desk was accommodating with late check out.

This hotel has it all! Close to great food, Busch Gardens, and other fun activities. Really enjoyed the pool was open until 11. We visited in December, so it was too cold to swim in the outdoor pool, so I was happy to see the indoor section was open and was heated. Would definitely stay here again!

Food at banquet was excellent! Props for the cauliflower steaks. Stayed overnight and room was spacious and nicely remodeled. Beds very comfy. Breakfast was another winner. Omlets were delicious. Servers at every venue were kind, attentive and great at their jobs.

We love staying here when in Williamsburg. It is a little older but is kept up very well. The rooms are clean and spacious. It is conveniently located, close to Busch Gardens. It is also located in a very quiet spot which is nice. Check-in is always quick and staff are helpful. Not the closest to the Colonial Williamsburg area but easily driveable.

Beautiful hotel. Rooms were clean and spacious. Huge lobby. Indoor/outdoor heated pool. Closest to Busch Gardens. Older Hotel but that makes it better IMO, alot more space/amenities than newer hotels. Will be back!

First time staying here. This hotel is huge. Michelle greeted us at the front desk and was very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean. We ate at the onsite restaurant, Pitcher’s Taphouse and the food was great and Janesse was very friendly and attentive. The fitness center is fairly large and everything we tried actually worked. They have arcade games, a pool table and plenty of tv’s throughout as well as an indoor/outdoor pool. Every staff member we encountered was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend you trying this hotel when in the area. Just checked out this morning and wanted to shout outout Mr. John in Harvest Grille, he remembered me from yesterday and had my plastic ware ready as well as being very friendly and polite.

Large nice hotel for this town. Didn’t expect to see something this big. Pitchers’ restaurant food was exquisite. Side fries with my crab cake sandwich was fluffy not crunchy. Best fries on the planet!

Very nice hotel ! It's clean, plenty of amenities and the staff are friendly. The lobby itself is huge and there's plenty of space to relax but the fireplace section is the best with some great vibes! The rooms are pretty spacious and well maintained. We didn't have a microwave in our room but there was a microwave right next to the elevator on our floor. The complimentary chocolate chip cookies 🍪 are definitely a plus and amazingly delicious. The only downside with this Hotel is the $10 per day self parking fee. Otherwise, it's a great stay!

Super quiet compared to the Hilton property in Chandler, AZ I just left. This hotel is a complete 180 degrees in noise level.

Check into this hotel after the pool not being open in JUNE! Which wasn't stated on the website or when we called. So glad it wasn't now. This was definitely a upgrade at the same price!!! The manager was working the front desk and was absolutely awesome and really seems to care and appreciate his Staff!! The bar was stocked and the boys hit pool! They also beat us 2 to 1 at corn hole! Enjoyable stay. Will be back!

We were VERY happy with just about everything about this hotel! The lobby and public spaces are well lit and very inviting. The desk staff were incredibly pleasant and efficient. Our room was clean and quite comfortable!!! And the pool water was a nice, comfortable temperature!!! The location was VERY convenient to Busch Gardens (unfortunately, the shuttle was not running so we had to pay for parking.) The restaurant was not open to us - I think they had some large tour groups. The cafe did a lovely job serving some special hot breakfast selections, though. Overall - a wonderful weekend vacation experience!

We haven't been to the Williamsburg area in several years. As honor members we booked this DoubleTree and there was no concerns with the room nor the location. As a matter of fact the location was perfect for our reason for coming as we went to Busch Gardens and Water Country both are minutes away from the hotel. The room is a standard room but, very comfortable for a family. Definitely will be back to this DoubleTree

This is a very clean, and large hotel. The staff is extremely courteous and friendly. The food in the Restaurant and Bar is phenomenal. Very clean, very peaceful environment. Highly recommended if you're passing through or coming to the area. There is a really nice indoor heated pool facility as well as an outdoor pool for the summer time, games, and nice fitness center. It's a great place for conferences and family trips ike. This is the closest hotel to Busch Gardens.

I had a great time at the hotel, accommodation and the staff were fantastic. I had an issue with my vehicle not starting, and maintenance came to help without hesitation.

Pretty nice. Conveniently located. Great area in general. Kids enjoyed the amenities. In my opinion, some things could use a little modern updating both otherwise this is a great option for families!

The overall stay experience was amazing. The location, cleanliness and staff was so helpful. Also, it has free Tesla charging station for the guests.

We had a great vacation! The staff and the room were great. We really loved the shuttle bus option.
