Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Williamsburg East (Busch Gardens), VA

This was one of our best stays. We were happy on hospitality received right from check in to check out. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great - I LOVED IT. Friendly staff. Most importantly it was very near to the Busch Gardens. We will visit again.

I've been wanting to write a review sometime, but seems like I never have the time. Today in checked out and once again I'm leaving appreciated you all have a young lady by the name of "Natalie" and Ive stayed at many hotels throughout Williamsburg and I've never encountered such professionalism and decor. She always has a smile on her face never complains and goes above and beyond. Her honesty and service is what continues to make me a regular customer at this hotel. All in all from the cleanliness and wonderful housekeeping and breakfast staff. It's just a wonderful vibe

I booked this hotel for an overnight trip to busch gardens. The location was perfect distance from the park and the room was very spacious and clean. I ended up getting into a car accident while I was in Williamsburg and had to get my car towed. The tow took longer then expected and it was checking out time. I informed the front desk of my issue and they were more than accommodating and said that I could stay in the room until my tow truck arrived. Super helpful during this somewhat stressful period. Thanx guys!

So I am going with 5 stars, this place is not perfect, it’s not really a diamond in the rough either. It’s clean, spacious, I was able to get 2 rooms next to each other, the sheets and towels are white, there’s a fridge and microwave and the staff was amazingly helpful and polite. Pictures to come in the morning of the breakfast buffet!
Now I will say it’s just incomplete. Walls need painting touch up, ceiling needs work, the doors in between the rooms need painting, there is pealing paint and tile work around the bathroom sink is halfway done. None of this is a complaint.
The rooms are great the value was wonderful and the accommodating of the staff for such a late night check in was wonderful.
I highly recommend this hotel and will stay again.

I enjoyed my stay here as everything was quite clean. The hallways and room smelled like they'd just been shampooed. The breakfast was actually much better than expected and smelled wonderful throughout the entire place in the morning hours. I could smell coffee, bacon and waffles on the 4th floor when breakfast was ready.

This hotel was so close to the hospital when my mom was admitted. It helped being so close! The price is great as well for the amenities.

Normally do not write reviews but read many reviews prior to going and they were very mixed. Our experience was amazing. It’s a great hotel for the age. No it’s not perfect but if you want the Ritz Carlton type you may need to go to a different city because all the hotels are older. It was in a perfect location especially from Busch Gardens. We will definitely be staying again.

I would rate this hotel a 10, if the option was available. I've stayed with friends and family here several times and each visit the entire hotel is immaculate and the staff welcoming and friendly.

Forget the reviews. Arrived to a clean, fresh and welcoming lobby & room! Clean, stocked with enough towels for all (4) of us (which rarely happens at any hotel…)…. Idk who has beef with this hotel but the room is updated, fresh paint, art, tv, mini fridge desk/sitting chair, huge shower and bathroom. . I could have saved hours searching hotels if someone would have been realistic

Phenomenal hotel. The staff is
courteous, and professional. The hotel is well kept, and very clean. I have stayed at five-star hotel's in Los Angeles, and New York, this hotel is on the same level.

Cindy was awesome. We got a room up grade at no extra change. I'm guessing cause the one we reserved was taken. I forgot our toothpaste. They do have complimentary paste and brushes.They have free hot breakfast. Cookies when you want a late night sweet snack. Along with coffee, hot chocolate, and juice available all night. Room was clean. We had a 2 bed room family suite. We had a king bed in our room and my kid a the 2 queen beds in his 2 bathrooms. It was very nice. I would definitely stay here again

I can't say more about this place I have never seen a hotel with every employee I encountered was super super if you're looking for service this is the place to go the general manager was super super nice the maid super super super nice everyone that worked at the front counter super super nice the lady that prepared the food for breakfast in the morning super super nice the maintenance guy super super nice I'm telling you if I could give 20 Stars this place would get 20 Stars the country inn in Williamsburg Virginia is the best hotel I have ever stayed in out of my 30 years of visiting different hotels as I travel

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had air conditioning issues in our first room and were upgraded to a suite for free from the owner. The owner is super nice and accommodating. The beds were comfy and the updates to the rooms are very nice. The only complaint I had was that the hottub was not working but we would definitely stay here again if we come out to Busch Gardens again!

This place is in the process of remodeling and they are doing it right. Now my pic of the beds do not have pillows but this is due to my allergy of feathers and that’s all they have. But we knew that before and brought our own. We did have a issue with another person that was on our floor and they decided to enjoy some puff puff pass in there room and smelled the entire place up but the employees handed it for us. Breakfast was your typical continental but was good.

My family and I and a couple friends rented several rooms and stayed there for a couple of days. I had a suite which was very roomy and had two bathrooms which makes life a lot easier when you're traveling with little ones. The breakfast was very good and the man who was running it was super nice. With five minutes left on the clock he still refilled the waffle machine for my adult son to get waffles. Front desk staff was very nice and courteous and the owner was very helpful with me retrieving my iPad that I left on the bed after I checked out. I have to honestly say that in itself would have me give them a five star review, but the overall time that we spent at the hotel was enjoyable and a great value. From my understanding it's currently under new ownership so I hope it continues down the same path and we can make this our new hotel that we stay at regularly when we go to Virginia.

**Update on hotel**
Stayed there again and had just as much of an enjoyable time as we did the last. Rooms have been updated and the the owners are making it a great place to stay for all our future trips!

I went to this hotel with my small children because my lights were off due to the recent storm in Virginia. When I walked into this hotel I was instantly satisfied. I stayed for two days and each female front desk clerk were very welcoming and made me feel taken care of while staying. I’ve stayed in many hotels from family trips and I’ve never ran into front desk clerks so kind. I will definitely come back to this one if I need a emergency stay. This hotel was 25 minutes away from my home and I’m glad I picked this one. I would definitely recommend this hotel without a doubt. Room was spacious, housekeeper was nice, parking was easy and hallways were quiet. Thank you so much

For the price, you can't really beat it. We checked in extremely late after a day at Busch Gardens and staff was polite and willing to exain the easiest way to get to our room with our things. The breakfast hours are until 10am, which was nice. Check out is convenient and also at 12pm, which is another plus after a long day of playing hard. Rooms are clean. Only small issue with the toilet constantly running (just noise. No actual plumbing issue). We will probably stay here again.

Great customer service. The breakfast staff and house cleaning staff were very helpful. Check in and out was very easy too. We stay at this hotel every year and we are always happy with our stay.

Owner is amazing. The day worker behind the front desk is great. Love her. Room is very spacious. Offering limited breakfast due to covid guidelines.. 24hr coffee available.. limited housekeeping for overnight stays bc of covid guidelines but she will knock and ask if you need anything and if you do she bags it up for you and hangs it on your door. Overall I'd recommend this place for short term or long term stays.

This is a very nice,clean, courteous hotel. The front staff are wonderful. Free cookie at the sign in desk! (Our youngest loved the cookies!!) We were in great distance to Busch Gardens. The floors are quiet and the rooms are clean.
