Courtyard by Marriott Williamsburg Busch Gardens Area

My reservation at this hotel was a bit complicated in that a relative made reservations for both of us. The desk agent did a great job untangling our arrangements and gave adjoining rooms which was perfect but unanticipated. I'd definitely come back.

Clean hotel with comfy bed. Pool and hot tub felt great! Loved the gentleman at the bistro who made us drinks and good, he was a sweetheart.

Tonya checked us in at the front desk and was very warm and inviting. She was also attentive and noticed our kids asking about the pool and put us in a great location to take the kiddos to the pool. We will definitely be returning to this hotel next time we are in town.

Traveling for work it is always hard, but Marriot premises have the best beds to rest, always comfortable.

The staff was amazing.

I never say a word on whether my stay is for pleasure or vacation because I don't want to sway things in a specific direction. Everybody was so respectful of all of us during our stay.

Let me start off by saying I have stayed here a few times this year and they (the entire hotel) always go above and beyond for my husband and myself.

Had an excellent 5 night stay on July 4th weekend, and special shout out to Cathy and the breakfast bistro staff for such exceptional service, and the food was good too. Check-in was smooth and front desk was always very courteous and professional. Indoor/outdoor pool was nice and hot tub was a nice bonus. Fitness room was kinda small but got the job done.

Very tired from long trip. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Quickly got us checked in. We ordered food delivered that night and they gave us paper plates. Room was clean and comfy though didn't like pillows. Usually bring my own. But very happy had room near pool which I asked for. Would definitely stay here again 🙂

The rooms were greatly accommodating and clean! No complaints except they didn’t have free breakfast. I loved the market place and bistro though very much a plus. I also loved there indoor/outdoor pool it had an amazing hot tub too. I booked a single room with double beds but they were all booked up when I came to chec-in. However, the gracious front desk clerk gave me a great deal with no extra cost to it. She gave us a room that was next door each other so we had two rooms under one amazing deal! I thought that was very kind for her to do knowing I had my nephew, cousin and sister with me. The other room even had a balcony! Loved it. The stay was very comfortable next time I come up to visit Busch gardens or stay just in general in Williamsburg, I’ll definitely choose this hotel to lay my head at. Just update the breakfast selection if it’s not going to be free 💙

The room, a 1 bed king suite, appeared clean. I don't feel it was worth the price though. The only perk was the king bed. The balcony shouldn't even be an amenity. It was dirty and tiny. Yes we could've gotten a pool view but we didn't want to hear people or see people in the pool. That and the bathroom was incredibly tiny for a suite. We often fought the door for the toilet. Would not be comfy for a bigger person to get in the bathroom and try to shut the door which is a major inconvenience. Also no fan in bathroom! But the pool and location were nice plus didn't hear much noise from neighboring guests (just from the dang ice machine across from our room) and we had a decent night's sleep. I would not recommend getting this room for more than 2 people. We didn't use it but the couch was very uncomfortable so I imagine the pull out is just as uncomfy and probably barely fits one person.

Great hotel in a good location. Beds were extremely comfortable. Rooms were clean. I loved having a little balcony to open and get fresh air. The staff was very friendly and seem to enjoy their jobs. Both the front desk and the breakfast crew were having fun.

Very Good Hotel. Stayed here for a Soccer Tournament at the Warhill Sports Complex. The hotel is 15 minutes away from the field. Breakfast not included in the room price.

I was only there for a few hours and slept there for one evening. So, take my rating with a grain of salt. This hotel was incredibly clean and the beds were SO comfy. I appreciated the "green" initiatives on Marriott's part -- reward points for not having your towels refreshed every single day. Breakfast was not included, but was an extremely reasonable price. I would definitely stay there again and also highly recommend it to anyone.

Enjoyed our stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff were amazing. Room was nice but the bathroom did have a small stain on the floor and the TV was in a weird position for watching from the bed. Hot tub and pool were perfect. Proximity to Busch Gardens and restaurants can't be beat. Would stay here again.

Stayed at this location for a night while visiting in Williamsburg. It is right near Busch Gardens and there are plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. The staff at this hotel were very friendly and professional. Our room was nice and clean, we stayed in a room with a single king sized bed. Loved the room darkening curtains, not a fan of the pillows on the bed (personal preference - went too flat when laying on them, made it a little difficult to get comfortable but still slept well). They do have breakfast, we paid for a 'package deal' that included breakfast when we purchased the room. There is also a pool (indoor/outdoor) and hot tub with easily accessible hours. Would definitely stay there again.

I stay here regularly for work so I have experienced truly excellent service on many occasions. But more important, I have gotten to know the management AND staff and I see the same excellent service provided to other guests. Most are long term employees who work as a team, accommodate the surges in demand with sincerity, and maintain a consistent friendly and positive attitude. The entire hotel had a major renovation 4 yrs ago and it still is in the same shape as my first visit in October 2013. Food is always fresh, rooms always clean. Truly exceptional hotel and staff!

Friendly staff, immaculate rooms. One mile away from Busch Gardens Christmas town. Walking distance to the Whaling Co restaurant, which is very good!! I stay here every year for this event.

We are back again summer 2021, they let us check in at 12:30 and were very accommodating! We have a spic and span room overlooking the pool. It’s great to be able to leave everything in the room before we leave for the park!!

- Very clean, great customer service, we felt welcomed and comfortable, The "Double Double Bed" Room we got were very small, but cute, and clean. (We have no choice as we went there the hot season and couldn't find room that fit our family").
- They have breakfast (Not inclusive)
- The indoor pool seem a little exaggerated on the Google picture I saw, it is much smaller.
- I do suggest this hotel, mainly for it is cleanliness, and customer service.

Came here only for a conference, I did not stay the night so that should be taken into consideration. Clean facility with a pretty nice lounge and eating area with TVs. The girls in the reception area were very nice and helpful. The hotel made us our lunch and the food was better than anticipated.

Clean and comfortable.. the most important thing. The service was excellent. The layout of the hotel is really nice with rooms facing the courtyard (not every Courtyard actually does this!). The truly nice touch were the pool hours which are late enough to allow people to get back from Busch Gardens and spend some time relaxing before getting sleep to go back the next day!

Stayed here Wednesday thru Friday and had a fantastic experience. The room and hotel were spotless the cleanest I have seen a hotel all year so far,, and the staff was very friendly even with our late check-in they made sure we were accommodated. We were bummed there was no breakfast option on site but due to covid we understand. Thank you for a great Thanksgiving trip . I highly recommend this hotel
