Comfort Inn Williamsburg Gateway

There are a few things that I look for in my search on hotel for work.

Type of room: 2 queen size bed
Price range I look for: $80-100
Reviewer rating: 8.8 (Priceline)
Amenities: microwave, refrigerator, gym, pool, parking, breakfast

Purpose of trip: to attend Soccer tournament in Williamsburg, VA.. My granddaughter plays 2 games on Saturday and 1 game on Sunday.

It is 11 minutes driving distance from
The Warhill Sports Complex.

The room is spacious. The rooms are well-lighted and the colors in the room are warm and complementary.

The bathroom is clean. It has a hair dryer in place. Although they offer a small amount of toiletries, I prefer to bring my own. So, this is not a big deal.

I am impressed with management. The person in charge of setting up breakfast did not show up. Although breakfast was delayed by 10 minutes, breakfast was also extended for another 10 minutes. The fact that the manager is able to jump in at last minute notice shows great teamwork and hospitality.

All personal was very helpful and nice. Service was excellent.
This place is spotless. For me it’s very important that a hotel or anyplace smells good and clean. The hotel and the room smells good, super clean. The housekeeping was very nice and does a very good job.
Common areas are clean as well.
I booked my room with just some hours before I arrived and I asked for a crib for my baby and they provide one with no charge.
The hotel offers free breakfast, which was good and a lot of variety, eggs, a protein ( sausage/ bacon) oatmeal, cereal, bakery items, waffles that you can make yourself.
It’s very hard to find places that doesn’t have a weird smell or a cigarette smell and this is the place bc smells clean
I come to the area often for doc appointment, entertainment, or for a one night for further trips I will definitely come back here.
I’m so happy I found this place.
Next time I will bring workout clothes they have a small fitness room, they have a outdoor pool, which was obviously close for the season but it’s a big plus for summer days.
I highly recommend it.

I'm not able to park my tractor-trailer here.But it's not too far away and there's a Golden Corral.That's cheap with lots of good food for a diabetic

This place is beautiful. The water pressure is good, the breakfast was delicious.

We enjoyed our stay at the Comfort Inn Williamsburg. Our rooms were very nice with comfortable beds and large TV. The hot breakfast was the perfect way to get started in the morning. The pool was a great place to relax in the evening after a busy day. We appreciated the friendly staff and daily housekeeping service. The hotel is conveniently located, just a few minutes from the Colonial Williamsburg visitors center. Several restaurants are nearby within walking distance.

Hands down the cleanest motel we have ever stayed in when visiting Williamsburg in 40 plus years.
Not a speck of dust in the room and it smelled fresh and clean as well. The pool was nice, the breakfast was good and we were very comfortable during our two day stay.

This is a very good Comfort Inn. It looks recently renovated. It's close to many restaurants. Breakfast is good too. We said 3 nights and breakfast meat varied between bacon and sausage. 24hr coffee from a machine. Good wifi.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Do not let the star rating dissuade you - there are much more expensive, higher-rated hotels near by that don’t even come close to the value, location, and cleanliness of this hotel.
We stayed for 5-nights recently. The service was exceptional; we do not have one, single complaint regarding staff. The note was recently refurbished and you can tell. The lobby is beautiful, the breakfast area is bright, inviting and exceedingly clean. The hotel itself is clean and quiet. My *only* complaint is the bed was really not comfortable for me, but thats entirely subjective so I wouldn’t let it deter you from booking.
If you’re looking for a place close to all the action in colonial Williamsburg, or you’re visiting the college stay here - you won’t be disappointed.

SHEEEEESH, WHAT A STAY! I booked here on a sporadic visit back to my hometown to visit some friends visiting town for a week, and wow what a great experience. Honestly, not to sound cheesy, but this was the best value of a hotel I've ever had. From beginning to end, from first phone call to checking out, I was very very impressed. Everyone was super polite, the location was excellent to downtown, Colonial Williamsburg and all the restaurants and attractions etc.., the lobby was fantastic, clean and well stocked with seating and working areas, the room was incredibly clean and fancier than expected, all the staff were genuinely nice and gracious, and the free continental breakfast was a perfect hotel morning meal. I was so impressed that I immediately booked another night later in the week, AT AN EVEN CHEAPER RATE THAN BEFORE, and had another great experience. I didn't use the pool or the gym, but both looked very clean and accommodating to guests. This Comfort Inn will definitely be my go to when returning home for my annual visits. Cheers, Comfort Inn!

Great location, decent breakfast, clean hotel and room, convenient location. We had room service 5 of the 6 nights we were there-as a person who travels frequently, I have not had this level of room service without request in 3 years. Great hotel with great value.

We had a great stay here this past weekend! For the price we paid (significantly cheaper than many surrounding hotels), this hotel is beautiful and newly redone. The decor was new and the room was clean. The beds were also very comfortable.
Our room was close to the stairs on the second floor but it was pretty quiet overall which was a pleasant surprise.
The breakfast service was ok, nothing special but it did the job. The outdoor pool was very refreshing after a morning of sightseeing!
We would definitely stay here again!

Rooms were very clean, breakfast was the best...ie your biscuits are always fresh an moist. Staff was fabulous. Hotel is located within walking distance to the mall. Red Robin, Cheddar, are in walking distance. Pool was open although we didn't use. We spent our days at Busch Gardens. I would gladly stay here again.
