Linda's Diner

Super cute diner, great atmosphere, feels like walking into grandmas house. We got the western omelette and buttermilk pancakes. The pancakes stole the show, so delicious.

Hunting season is upon us and its time for a good quick delicious breakfast or lunch at Linda's. But make sure you have cash because they don't take plastic.
There food is delicious and the atmosphere is authentic.

Good food for the money. Family friendly. Nice servers! Tell them exactly what you want.

Been in this area my whole life and just recently went her. The food is good. Service was quick for as busy they were.

Great food and awesome service with smiling, good energy people. By far one of the best spots I've been in quit a while. I'm just a trucker delivering to a near by location, but if they treated me that good, I can only imagine how much the locals live this spot! Thank y'all so much!!!

Absolutely great. Better than Northern Neck Burgers. Cheeseburger was made with fresh, not frozen, meat Lettuce was fresh and had a crunch. The tomato tasted like it was vine ripened. We will definitely return to Linda's very soon. This was our first visit.

I had no idea there was anything but fast food in Mathews. I'm so glad I found this little place today! Not only is the food good but it's reasonably priced! The server was really sweet and I loved that she checked on us without over checking on us. I will definitely be coming here again!

Friendly service, eggs perfectly cooked, creamy (not lumpy!) grits and great coffee too! Will be our new regular breakfast spot.

Love this diner. My sweety Derryl Hunt took me for the first time on Mon. Good fresh salad made. Love the fact that you can dit at the bar and watch them cook. Reminds me of aces my grandpa use to take me when we were little. Very friendly nice atmosphere. Oh yeah "real" foot long hotdogs. Real homemade burger patties. I cant wait to try a homemade milkshake.

Juicy cheese burger, heap of fries enough for two. Never had a bad meal here. No dinner but breakfast and lunch is all you need anyway.

We enjoyed a great lunch out at Linda's Diner today! My crab cake sandwich tasted great. The staff and owner are always friendly, providing great service too. If you are looking for a reasonably priced burger, barbecue, chicken, or other cold lunch sandwich, to go along with some French fries, you'll enjoy a stop at Linda's Diner!

I enjoyed my lunch from Linda's a few weeks ago. It's in the cut out Glouster or Matthews VA.. but worth the stop....very good service and food is made fresh in front of you.

So happy we went here! Prices are great and the staff is all smiles!! This was out first stop in the area and really set the tone for a great trip!!

I freaking love Linda's Diner! ! They are always welcoming and know your usual order by heart but may not remember your name lol being a southern raised woman that's fine wirh me.

Try there french toast with bacon---best I've ever had!

Even though we were too late for breakfast, lunch was wonderful. The speed of the service was great. If we could get going in time for breakfast the menu looks great. WE WILL BE BACK!!

I have been eating at Linda's diner for more years than I care to count, and the ladies work magic with a grill. Keeping in the mind it is just a small diner I don't believe Mathews could survive without it. The ladies are great and quick to put you back in your place if you get out of line or forget your manners. All I can say if you want to see small town America at its very best Linda's diner is well worth the experience.

Good food, Good people, Good prices. Place is always clean, Filled with Southern love and Southern Pride.
