SpringHill Suites by Marriott Fairfax Fair Oaks

This is my 2nd stay at this hotel. I was pleasantly surprised when I checked in and saw the same friendly face that was at the counter a year before.
The rooms are clean and quiet, with great water pressure in the shower. Comfy beds.

Clean room. Spacious for a family of and a dog.

Nice lobby

Good breakfast.

Staff was friendly and helpful.

And they allow dogs to stay for a pet charge.

Clean rooms, great breakfast. LOVE THE FRESH BAKED WAFFLES! Our group stays at quite a few hotels and it’s hard to believe that a lot of hotels can’t get it right. Two simple things. You may get a clean room but then your breakfast is something you can pick up at the local gas station (pre packaged sandwiches and pre packaged waffles and muffins) Thanks for the stay we will be back in the area soon for another great stay.

Great location. Convenient parking garage on-site. Although it's not attached to the hotel and you have to pay for parking. The room was clean and spacious. Nice products in the bathroom. The only tricky thing was figuring out that when you arrive you have to temporarily park in front in the circle while you check in. It's also where you can unload your car to take your things up to the room. I wish they had a sign outside to tell you what to do when you arrive.

This was the best place I have ever stayed.The bed was perfect, the room was not your boring square . The breakfast was omelets and waffles .wonderful.

The rooms are clean and quiet. The pool is well maintained and handicapped accessible. The housekeeping personnel is helpful and friendly. The breakfast has so many options and the location is great, too! I stay here any time I visit Virginia and the front desk staff remember me which is nice, too.

I want to praise Mariah. She checked me in with professionalism, efficiency and a smile. She exhibits great hospitality and is an asset to the hotel. I thought the bed was comfortable. The AC unit was in retry loud when it kicked in. Breakfast offered many choices. I’d stay here again if I was in the area.

We went to a concert at EagalBank Arena. We choose this hotel because the arena is about 10 minutes away by car. We found the hotel without problems and check in was easy. They have an area in the lobby to buy snacks but no restaurant. We didn't use it, but breakfast is included. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a king size bed. If you have additional members in your party, there is a sofa bed that sleeps two. There is only one TV in case that matters. If you want to sleep late, check out is at noon. Just note that on Monday morning, they were weed eating out side and woke us up early. We enjoyed our stay!

Great location. Rooms are nice and clean. You can park in the parking garage. There are limited parking spaces outside the garage. We would definitely stay here again!

We walked into a room that smelled clean and fresh, and heard calming music playing from the TV (like a spa). The suite was a great size. Everything worked fine and it was comfortable. Breakfast/coffee was a nice touch. SO many restaurants around the area too for dinners or lunches.

I love this place in my first visit . The soothing music that welcomes while entering in the room. I find it everything near while we stayed in Fairfax. Facilities are very spacious. I enjoyed spacious rooms and working table is really comfy. Enjoyed sitting in sofa while watching tv. Very neat and welcoming place. I wish if they did not charge for parking lot.

Had an amazing experience, it was a really good hotel! We got 3 rooms and 2 were a-jointed rooms. We had really good service at the front desk and also the spring hill suites company helped with our wifi solution on a Nintendo switch and they helped us with such professionalism. We stayed for 6 nights and we loved it. The breakfast was somewhat of an issue as there were no items and less things to choose from and some days there was just basic stuff as they ran out and didn’t stock up for the amount of people that were staying at the hotel. The staff really helped us by allowing us to use some of the hotel trays and also using them to transport things from our car and back. The hotel is very clean! And very spacious compared to competitors and the rooms were perfect. The housekeeping was on point and they came at perfect times and cleaned and it was spotless. One thing I would change was to put a sink in the washroom as there are 2 sinks in the room but no sink in the washroom. The overall experience was perfect and I would do it again!

A very comfortable place to stay. The hotel is pet friendly. We were there overnight because we needed to take our cat for treatment at a local veterinarian clinic, and it was too much of a hassle to take the outerloop so early in the morning. The staff is friendly, and they offer a continental breakfast.

Great experience! The room was super clean with a very comfortable bed. One thing to note, the bathroom doesn't have a fan, so it will steam up very easily. Continental breakfast was decent (eggs were bland and sausage was gross, but all else was good). Didn't have any problem with the wifi and it was quick. Loved that there was a covered parking garage available too.

This hotel has absolutely become my first choice for when I'm in the area...that's four times this year alone.

First, this Front Desk staff could not be nicer or more welcoming. The rooms are always clean and ready for you, the food is always good, and the location can't be beat!

Before my first time starting here I had just been to the Hyatt Regency...no comparison. The Hyatt had families of kids running up and down the hallways every night of my stay. The fridge in my room was not working and had defrosted creating a watery mess...I could go on, but suffice to say I've never had a single problem with Springhill and, as I've told them personally, always stay here without even considering any place else!

We had a lovely stay at this recently renovated SpringHill Suites. Common lobby/dining area was clean and bright. The staff was really friendly. Complimentary breakfast was a bonus - eggs, sausage, hash, bagels, waffles, oatmeal, yogurt & fruit. Menu was the same each day but no complaints here. Our room was spacious; I enjoyed having the separate living space and bar/fridge area. Sofa/trundle bed was from West Elm! It was unseasonably warm for January and it was nice to see the fire pit out front lit, for guests to enjoy. Would totally stay at this hotel again.

Please Note: This is one of the ONLY hotels in the area that has an open indoor pool. The majority of hotel pools in Virginia are still closed due to the pandemic. It only operates during certain hours, you must sign up ahead of time, and you're limited to one hour. But at least it's available. That was a big plus. Also, be aware that parking is $3 a day but they do have a parking garage. Confirmed to be pet friendly.

This hotel was great in a pinch. We were desperate to find a place to stay for my job interview and the first two hotels we booked were atrocious (seriously, stay away from Best Western in Manassas, it's disgusting). We ended up going here and spending more than we intended too. It worked out great. Nicely decorated. Good-sized rooms. Friendly staff. TV that has internet options like Netflix and YouTube. Self-serve breakfast that was much better than the grab and go we've been seeing at other places. And very conveniently located near major highways. Overall, definitely glad we splurged a little to stay here, will certainly consider it next time.

Stayed at this property multiple times over the past month. Used it as a hub and did a few side road trips. Hotel met our need in every possible way. Some details below:
> Friendly staff. Seamless check-in and out
> Great Location - Multiple eating & Shopping options (Walmart, Grocery, Fair Oaks Mall) within a mile
> Free secured parking
> Complementary breakfast just restarted the past week after Covid. Very basic, but enough to get your day started
> Good washer, dryer. Wasn't busy. Didn't have to wait
> Rooms are clean. Carpet a little tired but beds and bathrooms were clean in every room we stayed at
> we had a lot of packages coming in. They handled them well and we didn't miss any.
> I was part working. Good reliable internet in all our rooms for zoom calls.

Some things that could be better:
> The study chair was not at all comfortable. Isn't designed for real work (ergonomics)
> Public space, especially elevator wasn't always clean and fresh smelling

Some things to know for the moment (Covid related):
> No daily housekeeping. They do it upon request.
> Pool not functional - under repair
> On our pre-Covid trips, they would save our large bags while we did our side trips. That option no longer available.
> They are running on minimal staff. So, don't expect service at your call. But things were in place and wasn't an issue for us

Stay Here! Staff is the best ever..Front desk manager is so professional, helpful and Accommodating.

Night Staff are vibrant and kind. Cleaning staff was really accommodating as well. I stayed 5 nights two different weeks (mom was in Inova Hospital)

The first night, it rained and because of the type of windows they have it was sooo loud.. I wasn’t able to sleep at all, but my husband did!!!!

They changed my room (from back to front of hotel) but it stopped raining so I can’t tell if that helped.

The layout of the rooms are very smart and comfortable 2nd stay we had our 2 yr old 45 pound Pitbull (she’s a sweet girl) they loved her and she loved them.

Beautiful hotel with outdoor spots to hang out. Very good breakfast. Pool was the perfect temperature. Love having the room split into sitting and sleeping, traveling with 2 boys. Room is a little small, but having a kitchen area, sitting area, sink area and 2 closets make up for it.
