I am a student here and my experience has been very positive. The building is well maintained and a pleasant place to go each day. The faculty members are highly educated and selected for their teaching skills. There is clearly a lot being invested in maintaining the space and updating to the latest technology. It does cost more than a community college, which they are very clear about before you commit to the school. The trade off is lots of support in terms of student / career services, as well as access to high quality instruction and up to date technology.

I went to ECPI from 2019-2020 for Dental Assisting. I enjoy all of my time all the faculty and staff were super helpful and understanding if problems ever came up. During my time there COVID shut everything down March of 2020 and we went virtual. Adjusting to virtual was a bit difficult for everyone but we got through it and graduated Nov of 2020! My director Ms. Sutter was amazing and very knowledgeable of all things dental and was very nice and looked out for all her students. ECPI for the win!!!

The nursing programme is fast paced if you are ready to learn and finish in 18 months this is the place to be. The schedule is intense but worth it loved my experience will not trade it for anything.

The advisors are great...the instructors are brilliant in their field of study...thanks for the orientation!!!

Anyone attended for the sonography program ? Any tips ?

If you've got the time and energy for it, it can be a great alternative to a regular education experience. Very fast paced and requires a bit more motivation.

I attended this campus and I had no issues with any of the professors. I mostly had issues with the staff that dealt with Financial Aid, and the administrators. I've noticed a lot of the staff has really bad attitudes, and the school itself is a little disorganized. I was in the DA program, and graduated, but I have yet to receive my Diploma and I graduated August of 2014.

So far, my first two terms went well. This third term is iffy, unorganized and a bit misleading. Feels like I’m paying to teach myself. No bueno!

No stars given for this “school”. I had to give them one in order to post this. They are so unorganized. I’m having to sit out once again until June because they don’t have an instructor for a class I suppose to start in April. Then try to put it on me for not being to be placed in another class because I don’t have a Bon Secour badge. I’ve done everything they been stressing me to do (passing my ATI, pay my financial aid and have my health documents) And at the last minute I was told about them not having an instructor for my next class.They don’t care about students moving forward. They need to either shut the whole school down or get rid of the evening programs because they are wasting people time and money that have jobs during the day and only have the option to go to school at night.

DO NOT GO HERE! I try to tell everyone I know this. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I graduated from here 2016, and it was the most stressful couple of years solely because of them. I was young and naive and did not do enough research before committing to this school.
They are not worth the price they charge. The ultrasound program is NOT accredited to this day, when I went in back in 2014 they lied and said they were. They do not have the adequate clinical sites that you need to graduate. But they will make sure you sign a waiver stating of you don't graduate due to lack of sites it is not their fault.
They are extremely organized and they lie and then 'forget' they told you. *Write everything down or at least get in writing!!* They will give nothing but excuses as to why your class is delayed or why they can't provide what they promised. They do not care about you. They care about your money. They will lose important financial documents and then make you come to resign them. Make sure it's the same document!!!
**Always check your financial records with this establishment. Your prerequisites should be included with your tuition if you graduate, but they have been known to charge you for it if you do not check yourself. It them 3 MONTHS after I graduated, 4.5months total, for them remove those charges from my records.

Save yourself the stress and the headaches. Go somewhere else.

If I could give them a 0 I would. I’m currently being withheld from my classes because the director of the department is trying to make an example out of me. I’ve been gone for two wks burying my grandfather in a different state and came back to be told I can’t come back to class even though I’m not in trouble and my grades are in good standing.

All because someone charged at me and I defended myself. Yeah unless you wanna spend half your term filing a civil lawsuit please spend your money elsewhere.

ECPI Medical Careers Institute is a predatory school that preys on people that do not understand how the system works. To my understanding my daughter and I were signing a loan together and we would be responsible for this loan after she graduated for ECPI. The total of the Degree was 25,000 dollars. Ok no problem that is a lot of money but it is do able to repay once she gets a job. So I receive letters and I tell her to call and take care of the loan and start making payments. So after a while she did. And I still received letters from the Coast Professional Inc. I called them and spoke to them told them my daughter has taken care of this loan and it is in a deferment status because she is full time in school again. I called Nelnet who is servicing the loan. No resolution, called Coast again no resolution. I feel that no one knew what I was talking about. So the next step is to go to ECPI Medical Careers Institute. And see what was going on. So to my surprise after asking the lady the same questions over and over for an hour, My daughter and I found out that she had a loan for the amount she could afford and my parent plus loan covered the rest of the Tuition which was 12,500 per Semester/term. It took them over 2 months and 2 classes for them to tell my daughter that her diploma is not acceptable and she could not return until she received her GED. So she was charged for the 12, 500 for the semester/term. My daughter took several break out of school and was not informed that she is being charge the total tuition charges regardless if she is there or not. So by the time she graduated her total for her loan is over 24,000 and mine is over 28,000 so we are paying over 52,000 dollars for a 25,000 degree. I asked the lady where this is written that tells you if you do not finish the degree program with in the allotted time frame that you will be charged the total tuition every year until you graduate. Well she never produce any documents to advise me of this and also refused to give my daughter any copies of the documents in her student file. She stated” you should already have copies of everything in the file”. We couldn’t even look at it. All they would give her was a printout of her classes.

I’ve attended ECPI for about 10 weeks now. Everything was perfect until I decided I wanted to get into the nursing program. When I finally got into the nursing program at Brian and Stratton they basically refused to let me withdraw from ECPI to Bryant and Stratton. They ignored my phone calls and my emails. Now I am stuck paying money for a term I did not attend. All the school wants is your money. Very disappointing.

Inquired about transferring into their cybersecurity bachelors program and ended up playing phone tag with the woman I had originally inquired with named Lari Bellamy and some other man named Jake. None of my questions got answered and the last few times I called I was put on hold and then sent to voicemail.
