Wow! Thank you Bar 25! When we selected and reserved Bar 25 for my niece's sweet 16, I could not have imaging a better surprise when the staff and management set up the reservation. The food, ambiance and private area was perfect! The individualized menu for the "mock tails" was above and beyond. As always, the food was amazing. Perfect for sharing and multiple courses to help celebrate the special occasion. Attentive team of wait-staff made our night a special one. Thanks again!

Service, ambiance, presentation and taste were all spot on! First time going. Great scene for outdoor or indoor dining, food and drinks (cocktails and mocktails)! Will be back to try more things!

I have to say, that Bar 25 exceeded our expectations. We visit Newburyport often to visit family and found this place by chance. The lighting and atmosphere is classy and relaxing. Grace, the bartender made a great drink and knew the creative and extensive menu. The food was excellent. I had temporary food restrictions and Chef Joe came out to speak with me that resulted in an amazing pasta dish. My husbands cod and risotto was perfectly balanced. The staff couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. I highly recommend Bar 25. Thank you!

Interesting and delicious food. Lots of options and you can’t go wrong with any of them! We enjoyed our cocktails, and split a number of tapas; in particular, we really enjoyed the sweet potato & white bean hummus, the street corn, and the fried chicken shawarma! Great service and atmosphere as well!

Tom and Sydney were fabulous hosts! From the mixing of drinks, to the carefully curated food, their suggestions and attention paid to detail were superb. It is wonderful in this day and age to have such a personal experience. They truly care about their craft and the people they serve. Came here with my wife for lunch . This place is amazing . Did the outside seating . Had the mushrooms , street fries , fried artichoke and the watermelon and fried goat cheese special salad . The main course was to die for . Did the lamb kebab skewers with barberry basmati rice . My wife had the chicken with the same rice . For drinks we tried the blood orange margaritas which were amazing as well . Overall a great experience. Staff were courteous and food came out quickly . An absolute joy . Can’t wait to go back .

We’ve had dinner and drinks at Bar 25 for couple of special occasions. It quickly became our favorite restaurant in the North Shore.

Apps and entrees are amazing mixture of Middle Eastern spices used in a unique way in combination with American and Middle Eastern food. The delicious taste makes you want to go back again and again. My favorite apps are Balal and Magic Mushrooms. We opted for trying multiple apps and skipped the entrees.

Drinks (we only had cocktails) are very unique and the perfect combination of alcohol, non-alcoholic ingredients, and even some spices. They satisfied everyone at our table with a very different range of taste and interest for alcoholic (and non-alcoholic) drinks.

The staff was the cherry on the top. They ate warm, attentive, and personable. Sydney, not only showed us to our table, but also stopped multiple times to check and make sure that we were happy. When she found out that I was Middle Eastern, she invited the chef to come and talk to us and recommend various options. The chef took time from his busy schedule to stop by and get my thoughts on his creations. I can say without exaggeration that he had made a very tasty cuisine full of spices and flavor even better. Tom, our bartender, created perfection right in front of our eyes. Ceylon Sour has become my favorite drink and I don’t even like Bourbon. Our waitresses were absolutely wonderful. We never had to try to get their attentions. They were on top of everything.

Bottom line, this is the type of cuisine, drinks, and service you expect to find at a high end restaurant in Boston. Luckily, we are enjoying all of that at very reasonable prices in the North Shore. You can dress up or go in casual attire, another bonus in my book.

The whole experience was wonderful. The staff were so friendly and professional, they took great care of us. The saffron basmati dish was delicious!! The decor and atmosphere were second to none, probably the most unique restaurant we’ve visited. The food and presentation were outstanding, and we are looking forward to returning to try some of the other things on the menu. A hidden gem which we all loved, definitely recommend!!

We stopped in here on a whim because it started to rain. We had already eaten, so we just got a drink. The bar service was excellent, engaging, and knowledgeable. The drinks were creative and delicious. The menu lights up in the dark, which is cool in a dimly lit place. We look forward to going again and trying some food.

We had our small wedding dinner as a private event on the 3rd floor and it was awesome. The staff were very attentive and friendly and made sure everything was perfect for us and our family and friends. I was also a very beautiful space to host and event like that!

We chose this resturaunt for its unique atmosphere and menu. Man, what a great experience! We walked in hoping to get a table and even though they were super busy with a private event on the 3rd floor, they were able to accommodate us on the 2nd floor. Once seated, we were greeted by Sydney, a very experienced and friendly server. She gave us nice recommendations for drinks and food, which were spot on! Everything was so good with flavor oozing from each choice. The drinks were creative, using fresh, homegrown herbs and shrubs. But what made this an A+ was the waite staff. We never had to wait long for anything, they checked in often, were polite and worked their buns off. Everyone worked together like a well oiled machine, with Sydney the star of the night! This was our first visit and we will be back again! Only 50 minutes North of Boston.

Bar 25 is amazing. Me and the fam had brunch here this past Sunday. Right away we were impressed with the atmosphere. It was chill and easy. Our server, Lily was nothing short of amazing. She was super welcoming, and felt like "family" from the moment she greeted us. Her recommendations were spot on and it was clear that she enjoys what she does. The crafted cocktails were amazing. It is evident that they know their stuff. (Thanks Tom!). We had the Israeli French Toast (To. Die. For.), which was delicious! Great texture, not too sweet, and the cream was perfection! Hubby had the Turkish Breakfast with the House Made Lamb Berguez Patty (outstanding).
Even the manager, Sydney, paid us a visit and engaged with us.
It was quite easily one of my top 3 dining experiences of all time from start to finish. We were so impressed that we made reservations for a Sunday Christmas Eve brunch. I can hardly wait.

Sadly, Lily will be leaving the restaurant soon, but we'll see her in two weeks, and we are so excited for her new adventures! We'll miss ya LilBreezy. 😉

It was our first time at Bar 25 - my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary. Our server, Grace was outstanding! The food was delicious! Grace brought us complementary Prosecco, took our photos, even looked up the music playlist that enhanced the environment, which is cozy and fun. We will definitely be back!

Relatively new to the area, we "discovered" this gem a week ago, while shopping, and loved everything about it - the atmosphere, the food and the friendly service! Between us, we had a creative hummus appetizer, a delicious roasted beets salad, an incredible Faroe Island salmon that reminded me of our California days, with bites so tender they just slid off (like glaciers dropping into the ocean) and an unusual red rice vanilla Turkish Brulėe that was a guilt-free out-of-the-ordinary adventure! The server was very friendly, thoughtful and efficient, and we left thinking, "We're definitely coming back with friends n' family!" Lastly, I had to thank the cooks (grateful, yet so modest) before we left, and told the manager downstairs they should consider the "love tip" we've seen at other place for cooks, who work so hard, yet rarely know their end results create so much joy.

This place is worth the while! We did not have reservations on a busy Saturday night, so we went to the third floor bar. Thomas was our bartender/server and was incredibly knowledgeable about the cuisine since my husband and I had no idea what Mediterranean meals were all about. It was super busy and Thomas still took the time to ask if we had questions about the plates, which we did. We were NOT rushed at all and was sitting at the bar for almost 3 hours. It's priced reasonably for what you are getting, I was not disappointed in one thing that we had tried (four different small plates and two different kinds of drinks). The drink menu was amazing and they even had mocktails which I thought was great for designated drivers and or people that can't/don't drink. 10/10 would recommend this place. ENJOY!

What can I say....we love this place! Food is consistently delicious, staff are very attentive and the atmosphere is great! Hummus is delicious and the kebabs I got last time with the saffron rice were really good! We always bring friends and would highly recommend you check this place out!

Came to Bar25 twice in two days because of the friendly service, amazing atmosphere and inventive, delicious menu. Highly recommend!

The best meal of our trip. The ambiance, cocktails and food were unforgettable. You can do no wrong by ordering anything on the menu. The only bad thing about this trip was that we are leaving and can’t go back!

Having been a few times now I wanted to update this review. Bar25 In Newburyport I highly recommend. It’s like a Mediterranean tapas gastropub. They have in my opinion the best Caesar I’ve ever had. Their magic mushroom dish is phenomenal just so flavorful. Some of the best truffle fries you will ever have or try the street fries version. The mini shawarmas are all flavor packed and the swordfish kabob was perfectly cooked. Bar has creative concoctions it has quickly become one of our favorites

Delicious Middle-eastern tapas style dishes. Fantastic service. Truffle fries to die for. Chic decor. Four types of humus. Unique specials. Super fresh food. Can’t say enough about Bar25 other than I’ll be back. Pictured are the truffle fries, did I mention they are to die for? And the lamb Shawarma. Not pictured but also eaten were the short rib shawarma special and the Aubergine (roasted eggplant) humus. It was my first time having eggplant and it was very tasty. Bar made a great old fashion as well
