Hyatt House Irvine/John Wayne Airport

Every staff member was extremely professional and kind. The breakfast was great. The fitness room was nice. The outside pool was perfect. The rooms clean! Do NOT disrespect any staff members and do NOT trash your room. Be an adult and clean up after yourself.

This Hotel might not be 5 star but you will be greeted with a warm smile from all the staff you’ll encounter.
The young ladies at the front desks are friendly, helpful and they go the extra mile.
I was picked up from the airport by the hotel shuttle front desk attendant.
It seems everybody is happy to work there.
The hotel is conveniently located about 8 minutes from the airport.
The rooms are clean,provided with microwave and fridge.
The hotel provides buffet style breakfast from 6:00 am to 9:30 am . I appreciate that provide eggs, potatoes, baked goods and good qualities teas.
There are no convenient stores walking distance.
I was trying to buy some fruits in the evening, the front desk young man told me that supermarkets are a few miles away and I wasn’t going to Uber to get my fruit fix. The young man went to the back and brought me a few fruits.
I congratulate the Human Resources and the managers that trained your staff to be helpful with a great attitude and noticeably happy to work there.
The only suggestion I have for the hotel is if they can provide one or two usb outlets in the room.

This hotel is very close to the airport. You don’t hear any of the traffic from the street or the aircrafts which is great. The staff here is very friendly. They greet you any time they see and ask if you need anything. They are very welcoming and it definitely sets them apart from other hotels. I chose a one bedroom king suite. It was clean and had enough space and amenities to feel like home. My room even had a dishwasher in it!

The house keeping service is very good also. You can actually tell they serviced the room. Which I appreciate. The daily breakfast is good as well. You do have to pay for parking here but they let you know that upfront. I don’t mind paying for parking because the hotel and staff are so nice. The only thing that was a bit unusual was on Friday, one of the staff members called my room to verify how my stay was going. I thought the call was super thoughtful but just shouldn’t take place @ 9pm, maybe 5 and before. I will definitely stay her again!

We're Hyatt members and for convenience, we wanted to stay close to our wedding venue. This was such a great option because their rooms were spacious, had kitchens, and pull-out sofa beds! We utilized their kitchen and my sisters made a ton of chocolate covered strawberries. They offered all kinds of amenities and I especially appreciated their continental breakfast. The breakfast area was beautiful, clean, and had awesome appliances. The food was great - they offered hot sausages, eggs, pancakes/ waffles, muffins/ toasts, a variety of beverages, and so much more. The steam irons and boards came in handy too! We used them to straighten out the table linens for our wedding. They also have a refillable water machine in the lobby that I thought was very convenient. Thank you for making our stay, as well as our friends and family stay, accommodating and comfortable!

Sort of difficult to find, but once you're there it's great! Big clean rooms, comfy bed, and good breakfast. The staff is all exceptionally nice and helpful. Thanks!

We came while repairs were being done at our place. Great stay! The staff was super accommodating and understanding of our situation. We stayed for a week and a half, housekeeping was cordial and did not disturb us unless requested. Floors were pretty quiet for the most part. Full kitchen in studio. Great views. Comfy beds. Large shower. Great lighting. Awesome pool!
Breakfast was the BEST of any hotel we’ve stayed at! And the gym was great! More than just cardio!
Laundry services available upon request (not cheap though).
International hotel, many students and newcomers from other countries. Most are respectful.
Parking structure is monitored heavily 🙏🏼 so you are safe!

Tried it for the first time and I fell in love with this fine hotel. Everything from A-Z is perfect i.e. Location, pricing, staff, room layout, cleaness, complimentary breakfast, parking. I would surely come back to stay anytime.

I like this place a lot. Good beds, decent rooms. Overall, great stays! The location for me is ideal. Super close to SNA but not with the absurd flight noise like the Regency.

We stayed March 9th and 10th. My fiancé is a Hyatt employee, so we always stay at Hyatt Regency or Hyatt Place and this was a new experience. We got upgraded to a suite, and it had a full kitchen with basic cooking supplies! The room was very nice and had a spacious living room for our little one. There was a TV in the living room and the bedroom and everything was very clean and nice. The bar was closing shortly when we arrived, and the bartender was very nice and made sure to ask if we needed anything since he was going to be closing. They have a nice complementary breakfast. I will definitely come back. Highly recommend!

Perfect place to stay in Irvine! My family and I came from Texas during Christmas to Orange County and we spent 5 nights here. Rooms were great size one bedroom king suite very spacious, rooms have kitchenette with full size fridge, stove, dishwasher,utensils .Beds are very comfortable and pillows are quality down. Breakfast is great and better than most hotels this level. Hotel parking is easy in a separate building, It's dog friendly hotel but we didn't encounter many dogs ,I plan to bring mine next stay. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Hotel is new and modern and perfect location, less than 10 minutes from SNA airport, Irvine spectrum, South Cost plaza , 20 minutes to beaches or Disneyland! One hour and 15 minutes to San Diego. We will surely chose to stay here again next time .

Stayed here with my family for a week for a work training at Pepperdine. We had a great time. Breakfast was delicious, coin-operated laundry was convenient and spacious. Staff was always kind and the room with kitchenette was perfect for what we needed.

The rooms are updated, spacious, clean and beautiful. Full of conveniences, including a microwave, dishes and cups, a fridge and dishwasher. One family member has severe pet allergies and they went above and beyond to carefully clean the room and offered foam pillows. They accommodated our need for a larger room at the last minute. The free breakfast had a ton of delicious options and the staff from the front desk to housekeeping to serving breakfast were so friendly and helpful. The blackout shades kept the room very dark at night and I couldn't hear the airport or the roads at all. If I could give them more stars I would.

The beds are unreal. Only issue was my room did not have a single USB port but the other people in the group did. I was not able to charge my phone. Need to update that for today's world

I used this hotel for my Graduation trip..It was conveniently located close to the Graduation in the Honda Center in Anaheim but way too far from the LAX airport that I flew in and out of. The rooms were beautiful. I had 2 1 bedroom suites with 2 queen size beds in each with kitchens.. There was so much room I could have had more family members stay comfortably. The hotel staff and continental breakfast were also great. Love that it was also located a few minutes away from Walmart ♥♥♥♥

I normally wouldn’t have high expectations for hotels by the airport, but Hyatt house is the best! Cindy and Evan at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The clean service staff is the most friendly I have ever seen. This would be my hotel to go every time I fly in Santa Ana!

I travel from Texas to Irvine once a month for a week to Irvine. I usually stay here at this hotel due to its location and amenities. During this trip I was personally down due to unexpected death of one of my furbabies, upcoming surgery and missing my grandmother at Christmas time whom has been in heaven for eight years now. Unbeknownst to me, I always book a 6 night stay for my trip. Somehow with everything on my mind, I must have selected 5 nights versus 6 for this trip. When I came to my room last night neither of my keys worked. I just assumed it was a issue with the key and went to the front counter for help. The gentleman looked up my room number and said he would take care of it in the back. He came back and said that they should work now. What he didn't tell me was that they had caught my mistake and extended my stay by another night. I had requested a 5am shuttle to the airport to get ahead of holiday travelers. The morning agent was Ethan whom advised me that he was new, he did an extremely good job of bring professional, personable and friendly. He let me know that he was the only one working the front desk at the moment and that he could not shuttle me to the airport. He told me not to worry and that the hotel would pay for an Uber to take me the airport. Talking about top notch service! Well, he was really trying hard to get the system to book the Uber, however it would not work. I then offered to book it myself and use my company card but Ethan was not having any of it. He said "Mr. Walker, I am going to book it through my personal Uber account and don't worry the hotel will reimburse me." I attempted to say it was not necessary and that I could pay for it but he booked it anyway. I thought that was so nice of him and I really appreciate his level of commitment and service to a customer. He didn't know it but he made my spirits lift and I am so thankful and blessed for that.
