The Oliver House

Eating at the Oliver house was a great experience. The atmosphere is amazing, staff is friendly, and the food is phenomenal! The duck wings are unique, and the Brew Pub pizza was fresh and delicious. We also had a pitcher of the Fake Juice IPA which I highly recommend.

Great atmosphere. Nice place to have a meal or just hang out with friends. They have live jazz, Wednesday nights at 7:00.

We had a company event here with about 60 to 70 people. We had a sit down buffet dinner and a cocktail hour. There was pleanty of space for the tables and milling about. The space is warehouse/distillery cool. Acoustics were great ie wasn't too loud with all the conversation. They have a projection screen and sound system for speaches and presentations and both were good quality. Bar was well stocked with well along with mid and upper shelf stuff. Staff was great! Polite and quick but not intrusive. Food was ok to above average. It was a Carvery with three meats and three sides. Pleanty of parking for our people and easy to find.

The Saturday lunchtime wait was so long, but definitely worth it. We love it here. We keep coming back again and again for the burgers.

We celebrated my son's 18th birthday and my mom's 63rd birthday, let me tell you that the food was amazing except the mashed potatoes they were bland. Our waiter was impressive and catered to our every need. The ambiance of this historic building is something that you should see.

Nice, old fashioned pub atmosphere. Some tv's, but not overwhelming. Wood paneling and tables give it a homey, comfortable vibe.

Coffee was good, omelet with my choice of additives was very good. My partner in crime has the breakfast burrito, both are do overs.

Offbeat, out-of-the-way bistro near downtown Toledo. Basement of a historic restaurant. Good sandwiches and soups. Brews own beer, if you're into that sort of thing.

Great atmosphere, very good beer and food. Service is very competent. Burger was a bit overdone, but not at all to the point of being dried out. The pizza looked quite good though we didn't get one at our table. Try a flight of beers.

I was recently in there for a quick brunch stop and my server Cynthia was wonderful. I had let her know I did not have much time and she put my order in quick and the food was amazing. She also kept checking on me to make sure I did not need anything. Will definitely keep visiting because of the great hospitality I receive when I visit. Came in after working third shift was surprised they The Cafe was open so early. Had an excellent breakfast. Ham and cheese omelette with hash browns. My server Cynthia held a great conversation and told a wonderful history of the place. Great food

Food and service in the tavern is always good. I'm not a beer drinker but am told by my friends who are their craft beer is great and they make a lot of in house. Their vodka they make at their distillery is really good and they have a good martini and other drink menu if you don't like beer.

Truly one of my favorite places in Toledo. Great beer, a wide variety of dining options, and helpful staff.

Met friends for a delightful gathering tonight at Oliver House. The creative menu, house brewed beers, and friendly staff combined with our excellent server, Jeff, afforded us a wonderful night out! The shaved prime rib sandwich was the best my husband has ever eaten. My PB & J bacon burger was delectable! The Mudhen dessert was fabulous! Everyone was pleased and satisfied.

Nice and busy! I got my order curb side to go. I was shocked that there were so many people coming to a restaurant to eat out, masks and all. Then the attendant came out with the food and explained that since we live in Northwest Ohio/ Southeast Michigan and Michigan shut down restaurants and dining out...Mi came to Oh to eat out!!! The food was great as usual. Did not wait long for the food either.
