Nice cozy hotel. It's clean. Yes, the smell of good cooking looms throughout the halls, you have to understand all the rooms have a kitchen. Plenty of parking nearby, all around the area. And, close to all kinds of shopping. It's quiet, that's all we ask for. Laundry a bit challenging, everybody on weekends are doing it.

Clean, modern room. My room was like a small studio with a fridge, microwave, stove, large drawers and a flat screen TV. The stay was very pleasant. There are enough places to eat within a 5 minute drive. It was also wonderful to have a coffee/tea stand and a fridge downstairs available all day.

This was a perfect pet friendly stop driving from Minnesota to NY. They were able to accommodate me last minute and get rooms next door to each other. So nice to have a full fridge and sink when on the road driving a long distance. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. My only small complaint is that the room smelled a bit stale like old smoke.

I loved the suite. It was like a miniature apartment. Having access to a kitchen while traveling for work was really nice. The free laundry service was the icing in the cake!

Stacey at the front desk was amazing, all the staff were. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was so comfortable. There is a kitchenette with a full size refrigerator in the rooms with a Walmart close by so you don’t have to eat out. Complimentary laundry facilities which was so nice. Everything about this place is amazing. Nice and quiet place to stay. We are definitely coming back if not once a month then every other month just to get away from the stress and chaos at home. Don’t let any bad reviews discourage you because we were iffy about staying here but now we are happy we did. Just amazing!

Staff was amazing! A girl was getting trained when I arrived and her trainer was great! Stayed in room 332. There was a washcloth left behind that was clean but as a fellow house keeper I understand. Super clean hotel. Definitely would stay for a long while if I ever needed to. Definitely 10/10!! Thank you!

Impressed with room containing full size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, 2 plate stove top, coffee maker, as well as dishes, glasses, utensils, pots/pans, dishcloths & paper towel. Wonderful, friendly, kind and accommodating staff! Definitely will visit again!!

I spent several months for work at this location. The room was clean and the staff were helpful. Free laundry was so convenient. Right by grocery store and restaurant. The staff went above and beyond for my comfort.

I am very impressed by the quality for value with this hotel.

When it comes to, pretty much all of Toledo- I’ve stayed at most of the hotels in the area.

The staff is polite, the rooms are clean and packed with amenities. It’s quiet, and comfortable.

The water pressure is good, and the rooms are recently remolded.

In truth nothing really jumps out at me to negatively post.

There’s several grocery options within driving distance, and several good restaurants within walking distance.

Lovely! Booking over the phone was very easy. Room was incredibly clean, roomy, comfortable, had all the amenities. Staff was very kind and helpful. Absolutely no questions about my big pitbull with me. Loved it! Parking lot was kind of full, and the in-room coffee is not great. Doesn't matter! 5 stars!

Great location. Easy to get to right off interstate. Stores and restaurants all around. Friendly staff. Clean rooms, comfortable bed. Wifi was decent.

Fantastic place. We stayed here on our way from Canada to Florida and we have no complaints. The Visa machine was down, but that wasn't anyone's fault. The room was large and clean. The kitchenette was clean amd very well stocked, including a full size fridge. Bathroom was large and clean. No pool, but we weren't expecting one, so it wasn't an issue. We didn't use the little store in the lobby, so I can't review it, but it appeared to be very well stock. The beds were clean and comfortable. All amenities were in order such as water pressure, water temperature, room temperature and room fixtures such as lights. The staff was friendly and helpful, although very flustered by their Visa machine not working. We arrived around midnight and Beth was working the counter, very polite and helpful. Overall, not a single complaint about this place, and the room was actually less expensive than the price listed online.

Rooms were very comfortable and clean and safe. We all are concerned right now right now during the Pandemic. Let me say, the staff is amazing. But the Manager went above and beyond to assist. She has an amazing personality and very welcoming.

Wonderful & helpful staff. Manager even gave us a ride downtown Toledo when we were unable to find an Uber. Rooms were very clean & supplied all we needed. Also it is rare to find items reasonably priced in the on site store. We had a very pleasant stay & would definitely recommend this hotel.

One word…. Melinda. Candlewood Suites is extremely fortunate to have her as the general manager. I have not seen the level of customer service in a long time, especially during a time when no one will work, show up or if they do, it’s so short staffed customer service goes out the door. I watched as Melinda took on several roles today including cleaning rooms. I commented how obnoxious for her it must be to listen to a “ding” like alarm as it went off at the front desk. She said she had recently installed it to make sure she doesn’t miss a customer at the front desk while she is doing other jobs around the hotel. There were other things Melinda did that not only surprised me but showed how dedicated she was to making our stay the best. If Melinda reads these, hope she knows how much her efforts and hard work are appreciated!

Wonderful place, very relaxing and above all etremely clean. The rooms were great, filled with most every need. The hallways, stairwells and grounds outside equally maintain to a high standard!
Most importantly in making our stay a positive one was the staff from the hotel maintainers to the front desk everyone was pleasant, helpful and professional. We normally visit once a year and have never been dissapointed when staying at this hotel!

Only one complaint...The toilets are so low it is very painful on the knees!!
