Comfort Suites Perrysburg - Toledo South

Great place to stay !!! Room was 8/10 but staff was great and made the stay . I would definitely stay again

This hotel has been completely remodeled inside and the rooms are phenomenal and include a jetted garden tub and huge walk-in shower, and multiple TV's. Beautiful rooms!

The afternoon check in lady was very friendly and pleasant,the breakfast was amazing and very tasty. We had the big jacuzzi suite and it was very spacious and loved the shower with 2 wall shower heads and one above us. King bed was very comfortable. Over all a great place to stay or a getaway for a few days. Lots to do in the surrounding areas. Only complaint would be the guy in the room next to us snored so loud,I imagine the whole 3rd floor heard him 😂 Hopeful he sees a Dr about that soon 😉

Love it here. But the prices keep going up . Stayed here for 3 weeks go home on the weekends . Reserve the room and it more expensive then the week before.

This place has a great breakfast, clean rooms and good common areas. Located near I-75 and a ton of great options for dining/ shopping. Walmart/ Meijer available for essentials you may have forgotten. About 20 min from sports venues for the MudHens and the Walleye. Only about 1hr from Detroit Metro Airport. Staff was very professional and accommodating. I'll stay here again!

I just loved the place I would come back to this place over and over very clean room and very friendly staff the free breakfast was great and very clean if you are in Perrysburg I would recommend this motel for a great night stay or longer it is right off I-75 and near a lot of places to eat

Though the rooms were a little bit small, they were comfortable and cozy. Beds were clean and very comfortable with plenty of blankets. AC/heating unit worked great and was quiet. Complimentary breakfast was pretty good and the staff was all very friendly. The hallways were fairly dark and I had to wander a bit to find the ice, but it was a pleasant stay and would recommend this for anyone who needs to stay in the area.

I loved this hotel! We got the jacuzzi room I loved the walk in shower and how the room was set up. I’m a housekeeper for a bigger hotel and I’m very picky with how my room should look. So I brought a black light. I did the bed because I read a review that stated something about bed bugs but there was nothing (I looked how our hotel looks for such things) I checked the bed, jacuzzi, shower and toilet. I was completely impressed everything was spotless! But the jacuzzi did have something in the bottom that was taken off with a Clorox wipe you would not have been able to see it without a black light . Other than that great stay! Just upset the breakfast wasn’t good at all and they had no vending area. In a great location as well!

Very nice hotel and an excellent price. Only $109 after tax for a single night. We had a problem with the A/C not coming on, and when I phoned the front desk about it the lady volunteered to come up and fix it for us. Other than the corners of the carpet and the tile lip on the bathroom wall being a little dusty, the room was very clean. Bathroom was very modern with lots of tiling. Bed was a little on the firm side, but I like my beds firm so it was a plus for me. Very fluffy pillows. Breakfast was excellent. Many options including bacon and eggs. I would definitely stay again.

Our favorite in town getaway the rooms are really nice king bed with a two-person jacuzzi tub and a two-person shower and it's right next door to fricker's so if you're looking for something to do in town with that special person this would be the place and the price is affordable

A week ago from my visit they finally reinstated hot breakfast. I hope they continue because it had always been a nice option. Nothing fancy, but the waffles, eggs bacon & sausage wasn't bad at all. For the price that I pay I feel like the option should be there. Not the silly grab bags.
Though my room still smelled "weedy" it was nothing a decent amount of Lysol couldn't solve. By the 2nd night the smell was gone. Overall the staff was friendly & my room clean. Would be nice to have room service every day again. But I think hotels will continue to use the covid excuse to not hire sufficient staff to clean the rooms. At least make it an option for the less fearful.

Update (3/2022)

Stayed here again-mainly for the location convenience. I spent close to $1000 for the 7 night stay and only was compensated with 5k Choice reward points (~$7) for the several inconveniences during stay. As a Platinum member I did not get to check out 2 hours later when I politely asked and only had my room cleaned once in 7 days due to staff shortages. On top of this, they STILL don’t offer hot breakfast. I called customer service & they offered to contact the hotel on my behalf to see if they could allow me to check out later, but I told her to forget it, because I was told there was only ONE person for the entire hotel to clean rooms. That and I had already spent close to an hour trying to submit my complaint...hung up on once and on hold for quite a while. The phone in my room didn’t work as well. Not a huge problem in the age of cell phones but sometimes you’d like to get the reception desk immediately vs having to look the number up online.
The times we're living in is tough and businesses must get smart on how to grow and retain staff. This hotel has been struggling since COVID and it's sad. Same high prices and VERY low service offerings. Makes one wonder where all the money is going when there's only 3-5 people working throughout the week. The staff is polite, but for the same price 2 years ago at least you'd get your room cleaned daily and a hot breakfast. The Quality Inn nearby has resumed hot breakfast. WHY not this chain??? Unacceptable. COVID hit everyone hard & it's definitely not over, but chains should absolutely be resuming normal operations by now with extra cleaning techniques. I actually feel sorry for the faithful few staff that’s there. No doubt being overworked. If there’s only one cleaning person for like 100 rooms, one must question, “how clean are the rooms???” You can’t ask for the same price and not give half the services. Come on, Choice. Time to step it up. You can do better.

Update (1/2022):

Sadly ever since covid this hotel has been struggling. I still enjoy the jacuzzi rooms, but oddly miss the satisfactory breakfast they used to provide. At least it was a hot meal. It wasn't spectacular but it was better than bottled water with a muffin and fruit. By now this hotel should be getting back to normal & serving breakfast. This is share laziness and thievery not to employ someone to provide a decent breakfast. They still charge the same prices for their hotel rooms if not more and give you less service. I stay here often for the jacuzzi rooms and have filled out survey after survey and called Choice Hotels corporate and nothing is being done to improve. This is very sad because this hotel has the best jacuzzi suite and couples shower.

Well worth the money. Stayed here several times. Jacuzzi tub is deep though the jets could be stronger. Still is an awesome relaxing experience & worth every penny.
Breakfast is ok, not spectacular...just ok. Employees are friendly and the beds are soft & rooms clean. As you can tell, I would recommend the jacuzzi rooms for a little extra.

This location is local to my home and I love it more than the big glorious bed and breakfast nearby. My husband and I get a room here for our birthdays and anniversaries because of the rain shower. There’s nothing comparable to it, absolutely in love with it. The hot tub in the room is pretty neat but I cannot get the beautiful shower out of my head.

It was the nicest hotels in/around Toledo with a decent price!! Everyone was extremely nice & helpful!! The hot breakfast was actually hot & there was a decent selection. I would recommend this hotel for a night away!

I arrived late just to sleep, hoping the beds would be consistently comfortable like other Comfort Suites. Was not disappointed. Breakfast was a little more sparse than other locations I've been to but the quality was a bit better than usual. Convenient location not too far from the turnpike.

Ended up staying here after a terrible experience at the Baymont across the street. The Person who took care of us was very helpful and understood our situation.I would like to thank Mark for taking such good care of us.

We had a fantastic stay! We booked a king suite with a 2 person hot tub - it was definitely worth the extra cost for luxury. The room was very comfortable, to the point where we didn't want to leave. Besides that, the hot breakfast was delicious, and the service was exceptional. We will definitely be visiting Comfort Suites Perrysburg again!
