A Walk In The Park Cafe

Love the concept of this restaurant, you can paint while you wait for your food, or just want to let out your artistic side. The food was amazing. Really fresh, and came out quick. Erroll, the manager I believe, he was such a pleasure to talk to while visiting. The whole staff was friendly and informative. The atmosphere was such a vibe. I can't wait to go back with my daughter, she's going to love it! The bad thing is they chose at 2p.m, but it'll be perfect for an early day out to get breakfast/ brunch/ lunch food items!

What a wonderful little spot! Food is cheap and delicious. Staff is incredibly friendly and passionate. Atmosphere of the place is so offbeat yet so welcoming. The artistic vibe with all the paintings and unique chairs/tables is extremely charming. Not to mention the fact that you can paint while waiting for food. Can't think of any other spot that allows that! Will absolutely come back...many times!

Love the concept and the atmosphere. Paint while you wait is a plus . You’re getting painting with breakfast versus painting with a twist . You can’t beat the prices either !!

When we walked in, the atmosphere was very unique and the staff was incredibly friendly. They treated us like family. Wish I would’ve taken pictures of the food, but as soon as it came out, it smelled too good and was gone before I could even think to. The food was absolutely delicious, they were super fast and on point. Definitely recommending to everyone.

Such a cute and cozy spot to eat breakfast or lunch. Best part is all of the owls everywhere! One of my favorite animals! My first visit here was takeout and had I not been pressed for time I would have sat down at one of the cozy booths. The food was delicious 😋. My daughter loves breakfast and ate her kid's breakfast like a champ! I ate my Grandma's in Town plate before I realized I didn't take a picture of mine either. Needless to say, we'll be back and I'm sure it'll be delicious again.

What a great little local place! Were from out of town but stopped by after staying here for the day and we loved it! The art and atmosphere was so neat. Wish we could have stayed longer to paint because that would have been so much fun. Even the other guests here were so kind and friendly. Not to mention the food was fantastic! We are so glad we stopped by and hope others can enjoy it too. Wish we lived closer, we would visit all the time! 11/10

Can't say enough about how great this place is. We showed up right around closing time. The hostess politely told us before we ordered that we wpuld need to take our food to go. A minute later she came back and said we could eat in the restaurant, but apologetically asked if it was okay if our food came in to go containers. The service was amazing, the food was phenomenal, and the atmosphere is unique and really cool. 6 thumbs up to A Walk in the Park Cafe! We will definitely be back, but more within their regular hours, lol. I highly recommend this place.

Came here for brunch on July 4th - First time ever and my friends and I will most definitely be back. The ordering process was quite easy, food was fairly priced and my goodness it all was excellent! Fun breakfast quesadillas, burritos, biscuits & gravy ….and most importantly mimosas! Spencer was so helpful after we mentioned it was our first time here and he was so sweet and positive. Nothing but great things to say and I cannot wait to come back. ☺

Awesome atmosphere, fair prices, generous portions. Had a breakfast quesadilla, watching my weight so I opted for turkey bacon and sausage, WOW that was good. Side order of gravy and bacon loaded hashbrowns because I cant be *too* healthy(it didnt stand a chance 🤤). Fiancee got a big boy platter that I was too full to help her finish after having not been able to finish my last slice of quesadilla. To drink she had gotten an iced strawberry cheesecake coffee with a double espresso which had the perfect balance of coffee to strawberry being able to still taste fresh espresso with a smooth sweet strawberry cream finish. For my beverage we had a Hot cinnamon toast crunch double espresso coffee having the same smooth balance of flavor that the strawberry cheesecake presented.
If you're considering giving them a try, know what you're there for. A local coffee shop with great food, kind staff, and a fair price for what they offer. All with a relaxing artistic environment. What it is NOT is a McDonalds that'll have your order ready before you place it. Plan to spend a little time enjoying a good meal or a refreshing pitstop to-go. I know I'll be back for mimosas and smoothies on the patio this spring.

Such a lovely place to relax and enjoy some food and art. I got a breakfast sandwich, and a Diet Pepsi and a small canvas. The canvas is a very good size! I most definitely will be back again and again!

I never do reviews but I came in and watched how Earl was able to handle many customers even though he was the only one working ! He was taking the orders AND making the food AND waiting tables!! Great worker. Great customer service ! I can also tell a drastic difference in the taste of food / drinks from last year (last time I came) Very impressed & will be back .

This place is one of the best place hang and eat in Ohio. The vibes are great and so are the staff. Lovely people.

Prices are excellent--we spent only $20 total for coffee, a specialty latte, two breakfast sandwiches, a side of regular hashbrowns, and loaded hashbrowns (they come with bacon and sausage gravy). I loved that we could order and pay on the kiosk. The vibe is really cute inside!

My only constructive criticism is that it seems like they should have numbers or something you can take to your table so it's easier for the waitstaff to find you when they bring out your order. Other than that, we loved this place and will definitely be back!

Shoutout to the hashbrowns and the breakfast bagel--everything was really really good.

My favorite restaurant in Akron. Great food, great prices, great owners. Incredibly cool and artsy environment. The patio is wondrous. I love literally everything about this amazing place. I could not recommend it more highly.

Just discovered this little jewel in Firestone Park on Aster Avenue. The food was excellent. You definitely get your money's worth. The waitress was nice. Overall great experience.

Great funky place!! Delish (especially the pancakes!) order the big boy breakfast and it was massive! EXCELLENT value

Beautiful inside and out, Right next to the library too! I would recommend it to anyone whose vibe is ' fairy living in the woods ' 10/10 would recommend it again and again! Great chai tea and great coffee! The staff were kind and made me feel very welcome, complimented my mom's tattoo! Supports a charity to support autistic people that isn't autism speaks (which let me tell you is big deal!) Can't speak on the accessibility of the place!

Wonderful atmosphere, absolutely amazing food. I could eat that breakfast quesadilla almost every day! The staff were super attentive and nice. Very clean and cozy interior, I loved the hammock chairs 💘
