Universal Marble and Granite

We cannot say enough good about our experience and the service we received from UMG. From the very start, they were awesome to work with. They are knowledgeable and worked extra hard to get us a certain look that we were trying to aim for during our kitchen remodel. From the sale through insulation, the UMG team was exceptional and I highly recommend them. All three of the countertops that we picked out for our bar, the pantry, and kitchen are beautiful. But, the kitchen is by far our favorite.

We were referred to Universal Marble and Granite from 2 different people who had went out and got multiple, multiple quotes all over the NW OH region, and found that UMG was the cheapest by far. We live in Findlay, and made the trip up to look around and get some quotes and see what they had. After we left and got 5 quotes on 5 different slabs we did our due diligence and also still looked around and got quotes from two other companies. One company we unknowingly picked one the SAME slabs that we had chosen at UMG. UMG's quote was $3000 less than the other company.

Sometimes you may pay a cheaper cost but lose the professionalism, customer service or just get a slapnut product. I can 100% say that is not the case with UMG, at least in the few weeks we have worked with them. They don't seem to be price gouging just because they can - in our experience they seem to be giving you a quality product for a honest and fair price! They were professional, respectful and helpful from viewing their showroom, deciding a few weeks later to order (without the pressure to order from them), the in home measurements, to installation. I would recommend everyone give UMC a chance to show you what they have available to see if it would be something that would work for your space!

Best place if you want to do replace your counter top. They did that for my old house kitchen two years ago. And i will choose them again for my new house kitchen soon. The owner is very nice person and also his staff.

Universal marble and granite did an phenomenal job on my new very custom home, all the staff was very friendly and accommodating, I had several full slab pieces through out the home that required a full team to get through the house and get installed and everything got done properly with no complaints I want to thank Joe and the whole universal team for the amazing job they did on my new home.

We couldn’t have chose a better place. Mitch, Jaquie Lindsey and Audree from the sales team were always patient and helpful to ensure I was comfortable with my decision. One of the best experiences hands down! Installation was actually done ahead of schedule due to completing a prior job earlier than anticipated. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend UMG to anyone thinking about doing a remodel.

Also posted with the BBB 03/14/2018. As a retired Contractor I can tell you, Excellent experience. Prompt scheduling. Professional Estimator and Installers. "State of the art", on the job site measuring. The fit is unbelievably perfect. A precise fit to the Drywall that was quite wavy. Everything as planned. My cabinets were professionally installed and, were very level. However some shimming was still required and performed for the Granite, which requires extremely level surfaces. Not a problem for the installers. Neat and very efficient work. Highly recommended. Beautiful flawless Granite. Excellent polish and, contour. The Farmhouse sink turned out perfect. I can't say enough about these guy's! The price was right to boot. We have been using it for 6 months now. Very happy!

Update: I called back after five years and had them do my upstairs bathroom. Once again just a great group of people, from the showroom to the set up to the install. Just as great as the first experience! You cant do this any better.

Nick and Travis installed my countertops- they were absolutely amazing. So nice, courteous, timely and efficient. They also gave me a lot of information to take care of my counters. They also were very friendly which means a lot now-a-days. Couldn’t recommend them enough! I love my counters!

When we walked into the office of UMG, we were impressed with the staff's friendliness and the layout design of the sales office.
We signed the contract on July 27, 2023 and the countertops were fully installed on Aug 21, 2023.

We shopped around and UMG had the best selection, hands down. Their prices were competitive with other local companies. Their quote was comprehensive and did not nickel and dime us like a couple of the other companies. We experienced a couple hiccups with our installation workmanship, but UMG stepped up and made it right. I would recommend them without hesitation.

The sales team were knowledgeable and helpful and set the tone for our entire experience. The removal of our old countertops was quick and easy, the very careful measurement for our new granite was spot on, and the install guys were first class. This is the second time we've used Universal Marble and Granite; they will always be our go-to choice!

I am super excited about my new granite countertops, they are beautiful. They did an amazing job from the first time I called until the install day. JOE is very familiar with the stones, the engineer who came to measure, and the installers were so efficient which made the entire process simple

Wonderful experience! Anthony was amazing with his knowledge. He knew just where to look to find what would look good with our paint and floor sample along with our cabinet door. I am very happy with the counter top we picked out. It looks amazing! Also, the installers were very professional and did a great job with the installation. Outstanding experience from the very beginning. Jessica of the sales team made us feel very comfortable and showed us our options. She allowed us to take our time looking over the various colors of granite. Their estimator was also courteous and professional. Their 2 installers were also professional and cleaned up after the installation of the new countertops. Very happy that we chose them over the other companies near Toledo.
