Everyone is was always super nice! I miss the food, I would 100% quit my job to help make and serve such delicious food!

I loved it here. Their food is amazing. I really hope to be able to eat here again soon. My picture is of what I think is the river wrap. I really hope to be able to eat this bad boy again. It really was delicious. Lol

I very disturbed by the closing and hours, the son sitting up stairs can't keep the place open, makes me upset. I've been trying to catch them open for 5 or more years and can't forget they chili dog was the best I've ever had and when I bring my friends there to show them, they're closed. I seen from reading the reviews where the owner replied. That is appreciated. I just need to know why the son doesn't want to help pops out. 😕

Great breakfast plus live music Saturday mornings

First things first the food is AWESOME! This was my first time eating inside for a work meeting...I love the atmosphere! Definitely a hidden gem in downtown Toledo. It's cozy and unpretentious, it is a place you can be comfortable in and enjoy some delicious food!!! I believe they also have live music some nights. I highly recommend you check them out.

This place is right across from my office, so I feel like I go there all the time. Mostly, I get Italian soda or an iced tea. They have a huge selection of syrups to choose from when deciding what drink they have. The staff who works there is always super nice. I am not a fan of their rock cakes. They are a little too dry for me to enjoy.

This probably needs to be on your must try list. We live in rural northern MI and weren't sure What we were in for because we know nothing about downtown Toledo. The food was great when we had breakfast there, and the waitress might be one of the sweetest, happiest people we have ever met. I have been called "picky" a time or two hundred

Super good, super fast!!! Old time quick and easy diner, no pretensions in the prices or the decor. The The Reuben Omelette is fantastic!! The egg sandwiches also are very good. It was fun to sit at the counter with a full view into the cook/prep area - like sitting at the chef's table ;).

The atmosphere of this establishment is the perfect mix of old and new. Staff was very friendly and the other patrons seemed friendly as well. The food was delicious. The only thing I can say is I wish there were more menu options bc I know they’d be awesome as well. 10/10 will be eating here again!

This an excellent little family run restaurant in a quiet section of Toledo. I hasten to use the word diner, it's more of hanging in mom's kitchen and having her fix up some of her blue ribbon winning breakfast dishes for you. Everything was tasty and the experience was a delight!

I went there on several occasions while downtown in Toledo during the morning/early afternoon. I love their food and the place is small, private, and personal. Every time I went, I had something different. Not once did I wish I had ordered something else. I'd recommend it to anyone that wants good food, reasonably priced, with some cool Toledo treats. Even someone to talk to if you'd like, with seating access right next to the kitchen.

Wonderful place for Saturday morning breakfast while listening to some live bluegrass. The place is small, but surprisingly the live instruments were not overwhelming. I had the mini-maker (small version of the Haymaker) and it really hit the spot after a night of drinking margaritas!

My boyfriend and I came in to eat here for the first time today and the food and the service was really great we will be back again! Both me and my boyfriend work in the serving industry and our server was selina and she was very nice and a great server! Cute cafe good atmosphere and good food

Best breakfast in Toledo. Great live bluegrass music, even in the morning. All the food is good. Kitchen is small, so it's a bit slow, but still amazing. Bluegrass special is the best and the haymaker or mini haymaker. Must try breakfast spot.

The Heymaker with the biscuit, sausage, bacon, eggs and gravy was amaaaaazing!!! The live music was great as well. I'm not that into folk music, but they happen to play the few songs and hymns I love, so I really enjoyed it! Would definitely go out of my way next time I'm in Toledo, to eat here again!

Glass city! Here I come again! What a place to have breakfast after a night on the town. There was a wonderful four piece bluegrass band playing as I watched the delicious medely of foods being prepared from the bar. The prices are just as delicious as the food. Be sure to eat here before you skip town.
