GLIC Electrical

Had a last minute emergency with our main line. GLIC provided an estimate and got a technician out to us the same day even though they were out on a bunch of other service calls. Really grateful for their service. Will recommend in the future! Kamryn was our tech and did a great job. 👍

Called with an emergency, Kellie got me scheduled in immediately even though they were fully booked. Even though it ended up being a very simple issue, the tech explained what happened and helped me finish the job. Out of the 6 places I called, they were the only ones to actually help me out.

Xaven was awesome. He got right to work, was very knowledgeable and friendly as well. I told him that if we need to call GLIC again, I was going to request that he be sent out. It was a very pleasant experience.

I'm editing my response. While the service was great, I wasn't as happy when I received the invoice. When I scheduled the service, I told them that nobody lived at the house and I needed at least 20 minutes notice to be there to meet the technician. The day before the technician was scheduled to come out, I received a text saying he would be there at 9. At 7:35 on the day off the service, I received a call that was available. I ended up getting billed for the time he sat there waiting for me. Also be aware that the hourly charge is for any part of an hour, so an hour and ten minutes is charged as 2 hours. This might be common, but it would be nice to know that in advance.
I'd change my rating to 4 starts but I don't want it to affect the great job that the technician Xaven did.

GLIC came out to install an outlet when we mounted our tv to avoid chords being reachable by my children. They gathered materials and complete the installation efficiently. I would recommend them!

Overall, I had a nice experience with GLIC and will definitely contact them for future electrical needs. The company was very responsive and was able to arrange for a technician at my house the very next morning. Mike Paquette was timely, professional and got the job done. He also helped educate me on the issue and how he corrected the problem. The billing was transparent (based on time and material) and paying electronically was seamless with the invoice being texted to me. Job well done GLIC Electrical - that is how business is done.

They sent me out one of the greatest team I’ve seen working together Dan P and Samantha , not only did they do a fantastic work they were both knowledgeable and friendly. They all deserve five stars in my book any day, and I will recommend your company to a lot of my friends at the workplace. Thanks again for such fine work. All of my appliances in one section of my kitchen were not working, we checked the circuit breaker box and that seemed alright. I called GLIC ELECTRICAL the same evening and spoke with a representative. They knew we were in a bind without the use of many of our appliances so the scheduled someone to come out the next day at 12 30. Michael P. arrived on time. He was very knowledgeable and professional. Since I am not an electrician he explained everything so I could understand. He did a complete evaluation and narrowed down the issue and it was resolved quickly. We are so grateful that we called GLIC ELECTRICAL, they are definitely problem solvers at a very reasonable rate. I mentioned that we were without power due to storms for 1 1/2 days and before Michael left he gave me an overview of the wide range of house generators they offer. If anyone reading this has any type of electrical issues call GLIC now.

This was a Home Serve (Home Warranty) claim. Dan did an excellent job on correcting the kitchen sink light and garbage disposal switches that was created by a previous contractor.
Dan was professional and very friendly which made me comfortable of having him doing the work in my home.

Dan P was very knowledgable and worked carefully to make sure my ceiling fan/light was installed correctly. Personable and energetic.

Professional and affordable electrical contractors for those major electrical projects! Had to replace underground service and GLIC beat all other prices. Coordiated everything with inspectors & Toledo Edison. Xaven was great!

Dan & Eric came out to assist with the wiring for an electrical box for our garbage disposal. They were extremely friendly and professional while here. They even paid extra attention to lock the front door behind them if going back and forth to the truck for tools because we mentioned that our Great Dane puppy has discovered how to open front door and let her run away husky sister out. That small piece of awareness and personal touch while they were here was much much appreciated! I’m not an electrician, but the electrical box was placed in a logical spot, works great and they didn’t leave a mess behind ◡̈

We had the pleasure of Cody and Jevaughn coming out. They communicated respectfully and kindly every step of the way; not only to us, but one another. Most importantly they got the job done and in just a few short hours. Grateful for their patience, kindness, and skill. :)

Dan Prater did an excellent job. Very nice job routing wires for new circuits, neat and orderly, very thoughal. Very easy to work with, very patient and very knowledgeable. What was anticipated to be "an all day job" by his supervisor was in fact completed in about one-third of the time. He even cleaned up after finishing. I would rate him higher than five stars - more like ten and would ask for him by name if we need additional work.

Xaven came early for appointment and was extremely polite and knowledgeable about the electricity in my home. He even taught me about correct light bulbs to purchase for my fixtures. My job was really a small job… spoke to the agent. He was friendly and helpful even though I didn’t go with his company.
