What an amazing little find! Sweet and attentive servers, delicious home-cooked food and cozy ambiance. I had the ham loaf and my husband had swiss steak. Meals were $8.99 with two sides. Very affordable for the amount of food. Pie servings were huge and looked delicious. Definitely will return if ever in the area again!

Great dinner near our uncle's house in Apple Valley Ohio. The food is simple but prepared excellently! The staff was quick and courteous and were very polite. The menu had a fair amount of items. There were four of us for a late lunch and we all ordered different selections. My wife and daughter wanted to split a bowl of soup since it was cold and snowing, it was all so good they finished the soup and entree entirely, we all had clean plates. I had the burger, which was cooked perfectly as we're their fries and fries okra. Our uncle's had the ham loaf, which is like a meatloaf made from ground ham, which was excellent. My daughter had the beef tips with noodles, which was a big portion for a kid, but she ate every bite. And my wife was very happy with her Patty melt. There's there but at least this place awesome!

The food was absolutely awesome! I had a banana salad that was 2 bananas with peanut butter and a delicious sauce on top. The waitresses were so friendly that one of them actually sat down with us and talked a bit. Prices were very reasonable!! I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

It's an old gas station, but larger once you get inside. They have great daily specials and deserts, some pies are made there. Been there for breakfast a few times was good also. We are usually there during dinner hours. Everyone is always friendly, including the lady owner. Folks drive here from different parts of Ohio, meeting from other parts on weekends. During those times it could be larger having more inside seating, but any lines goes pretty fast.

The roast beef dinner was really tender and good. I highly recommend the roast beef. The baloney sandwich was SO thick that it was ice cold in the middle. It was good but did not need to be that thick and once he got to the cold part he didn't eat the rest. We brought pie home for later and it was all fantastic. We had lemon marangue, butterscotch and cherry.

This is the real Ohio! Spearman's is a quintessential small town crossroads diner with absolutely delicious food and great customer service. This is where the locals eat in a relaxing homestyle atmosphere. Definitely order dessert even if you're full. Their pies are amazing and make for great left overs.

OMG.. I've been here I believe 2 times. Always exceptional down home good food. I like the fact that they are located and tucked away right outside Howard and it's such a neat spot for a place to eat. One day I drove past it and I was like OMG how neat. I love finding little hidden places to eat that people dont really find unless they google or are passing and just catches there eye. It's so neat. I love there food. There breakfast is so good and they have such a great menu full of options and awesome portions. I dont have any complaints. This is good home cooked food.

This is one of the best out of sight great food establishment's around. The home cooking and pies and cake are always great. Have been there to eat breakfast, lunch, supper never disappointed.

Always good food and friendly service. We drive across the county for the old fashioned food and great pie! First place I tried kraut salad and still the best!

The food was great and the owner was also our server. She was very friendly and attentive. The portion sizes were plenty and we went away very satisfied!

I like the home atmosphere. Dude was so personable and friendly. It's like he's k.own you for years.

Good breakfast. Fun staff. Parking is tight.
When we got there, it was full and stayed that way throughout but never seemed backed up.

Great little place to eat. Huge selection, large meals for low price. you can even get carry out. Would recommend anyone to come and eat.

I have been going here off and on for 9 years....It's always great food you can count on. Most meals are around $ 7-9 . The pie and cake are to die for....
