Vorst Custom Cabinetry & Countertops

My wife and I purchased a new home in 2021 with a nice living room that had a fireplace, mantle and some stone work around the fireplace that was used from the exterior. Nothing fancy but also nothing to complain about.

We moved in and mounted the TV over the fireplace and realized how funky the fireplace looked. The stone work was too thin on the sides and the mantle was oversized for the room. Things looked out of balance. Doesn't help that I wanted a giant TV.

We contacted Vorst about redoing the fireplace surround, mantle and adding builtins on both sides of the fireplace. Melissa Hartman helped us through various options, probably 5 different iterations of the design drawings and ultimately an estimate for the project.

We were given a production date and an estimated install. They hit those dates. Melissa was also great with following up with us on decisions needing to be made to keep us moving forward.

Nick and Brendan performed the demo and install in 1 day. We installed a hidden channel for wiring and were given options for electrical. They were extremely professional and easy to communicate with. They protected our floors with heavy blankets and kept the workspace nice and tidy throughout the process.

We are extremely happy with the results. My wife feels like this has reshaped our perception of the main floor. The work is beautiful, useful and high end. Thanks Melissa, Nick and Brendan for your hard work as well as everyone else at Vorst!

The Vorst family has a wonderful showcase set up on TR 99. They've always been friendly and knowledgeable about the displays shown, and I know they've helped many families with damaged cabinets before. They're not out to sell you something you don't want. Vorsts cabinet shop is extremely impressive. I was blown away by the investment in machinery used to produce their cabinets. You owe it to yourself to check them out when it's time to remodel.

Amazing quality and design from start to finish.

Just wanted to share my experience. I have a cabinet that was missing a small piece of wood between the top of a drawer and the top of the unit. Not only was I treated very well but they made me the piece I needed free of charge. The previous business wanted to charge me $50.
Obviously I wanted to share how I was treated and recommend this place for your consideration.

After reading the other reviews, we must of come on an off day. The lady who assisted us spoke very softly, and we had to ask her numerous times to please speak up. We wanted backsplash and countertops for our new home. She didn’t act like she wanted to assist us, so we left. We ordered a beautiful Italian tile for our backsplash, and quartz countertops from another place in Findlay. You missed a big sale.
