I brought my kids here to celebrate my son leaving for Marine Combat Training. We had a steak burger, salmon and the steak. The steak was better than Jeff Ruby's, the burger was the best I've ever had and the salmon was spectacular. I went again with a friend and the new Chef, Dan came out to our table, which was a nice touch. We had the surf and turf burger. I've never had fried shrimp taste so good. The atmosphere was crisp, clean and inviting. I loved eating tasty food, seasoned to perfection, in a historical building. The vibe was there. We will be back!!

I really enjoyed throwing my sister her bridal shower at The Florentine Restaurant! The room and tables were nicely set up when we arrived. Our server was attentive and thorough, consistently checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was displayed neatly and we had more than enough to feed our guests. Everything was good, but the quiche especially was a hit! The historical touches gave it a unique and engaging atmosphere. We had a great time! I would definitely recommend The Florentine for any event.

Found this hidden gem in Germantown, Ohio called The Florentine, Established 1816 and is the second oldest Inn & Tavern in Ohio! Every Single Thing about this Place!!! We’re in love! The food was absolutely impressive and delicious, really loved the homemade house Peppercorn Parmesan dressing 🧡 I had the Germantown Punch & he had Maggie’s Magic! He had a 12 oz Ribeye cooked to perfection, melt in your mouth amazing and I had the Shrimp Scampi, a signature, house favorite and it was unbelievable and did not disappoint! The homemade rolls and honey butter was mmmmm and finally our server, Kaitlyn, was very sweet, attentive and provided exceptional service! We’re so happy we found this old, sweet Germantown Gem 💎🧡

We had a great early Valentine's Day dinner. We loved the atmosphere and our server, Alexa. It seems that things are much better under the new ownership. Our food was delicious and perfect. My cocktails were well made and priced appropriately. It was a little more pricey than I was expecting, but it is still on par with many other restaurants around Dayton and fit with the quality we received. I'd recommend giving them a try or second chance if you had a poor experience in the past.

Unique Inn what's a nice variety of food selection. Little slow on service as other people were getting served by another waitress much quicker. But we weren't on a big time schedule. So relaxing and unique atmosphere. Everything was well prepared and delicious.

Our 1st time here but it definitely won’t be our last. A friend of ours recommended their steak and we both ordered the ribeye. He got the 20oz with loaded baked potato and salad and I got the smaller with a’gratin potatoes and salad. While waiting on our food we were greeted by the owner who was telling us of the history of the building and told us to look around. He had us try a few of the different beers they had on tap and all were very tasty. Our waitress Kelee I believe was her name was wonderful. She went over the specials and gave us recommendations and was very attentive. Everyone there was very friendly and personable. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and everything tasted wonderfully. We even had dessert afterwards because it was to hard to pass up once you seen that dessert tray she came out with 😆

Whether you want food, drinks, or both, it's a must-visit. Nice sized menu w/ alot of options, & the food is delicious. They have craft beer on tap & an assortment of specialty cocktails. The fusion of history, great food, strong drinks, & impeccable service at Florentines makes it one of my favorite restaurants!

Second time going here. Went last year and it was dark, strange mannequins, smelled musty and food was not very good. Went this morning for brunch… WOW! New management has done a lot with a little. Place is brighter, place is cleaner, history has been preserved. However the food… wow! I had standard 3 egg breakfast so it’s hard to ruin. But it was made to order and delicious. My wife had the smothered English muffin Benedict with shaved prime steak… WOW! Excellent. The young lady waiting on us was a delight also. We will be back. I may also say that we are good friends with Mark and Sandee Thompson and they’ve been bragging on this place. Glad we have it a second chance… the new owners have done a great job. Sooo excited since we are building a house 5 minutes from here in manning. We will be frequent customers!!

One of my new favorite places. The staff was incredibly friendly, giving multiple samples of beer on tap and walking through the menu and daily specials. The beer selection was great. I tried the pork chop, wow! I've never had one that good. I will definitely be back. Locals say it's the best steak around.

A little slice of history inn Germantown. Service was excellent. The food was delicious. The surroundings were most interesting. The beer brewed right there was quite tasty. Highly recommend visiting this restaurant.

We were driving through Germantown, Ohio at our 3pm meal time. I Knew it was a good town 💞So, looked for food spot I Found this Historic Hotel Restaurant. This place is On route 725. The Traffic is fast for in town. But, a side parking area with easy OUT is there. This Place was opened in 1901 & Has history everywhere. Very Clean, inside and out.. The Menu has Lots to choose from. It seems like a Nice Steaks Place, also had Local Craft Beer on tap. There's Rustic Hard wood floors, open wood beams, Plenty of table/booth or bar seating inside and Nice Bistro seating outside, A 🍻VERY Nice🍷Bar Area, there was really good music to eat by. We ordered the fish n chips basket @ 13.99 it had 3 thick cut pieces of Orange Roughy fish made with a thin crispy beer batter breading with Frys (Fry's were frozen kind). We both got a side salads 2.99, very small 1.00 extra for blue cheese dressing. I had fresh ☕ coffee 2.75, He had The Craft Brown Beer $7.00. Waitress was very nice & did a great job. Fish was very tasty.. $53.46+ tx$57.47bill $9.00tip

The newest remodel and ownership is great. The inside appears neat and tidy with historical features maintained.
The differences were that reservations are more favored than walk-ins and we were used to walking in. Also, the food was a little more upscale than we were used to from here, but very good eating, service and atmosphere.

I really enjoyed my experience here, the ribeye was great. The appetizers and service were also top notch. I personally really enjoy the aesthetics and atmosphere. I got the chance to speak to the owner and thought he was a really cool dude. 😎 we will definitely be back.

My boyfriend and I celebrated our 4 years here tonight and is was a great experience. Our server Alexa was wonderful, witty and very personable. We also got the chance to chat with the chef, Dan about some of the menu and the owner stopped by to chat a bit about the building and it's history, which was a lot of fun. I had the salmon which was cooked perfectly. I loved the option between teryaki, bourbon, and coffee rub. I tried the bourbon which was great but i cannot wait to return and try the coffee rub (chef recommended). One of the best old fashioneds I've had yet and my boyfriend said his steak was seasoned really well. 10 out of 10 recommend. We will be back :)

The Florentine has been saved thanks to the new owners! Loving how they have kept the place true to its historic roots, improved the food, fair prices. Will be back! Support local not big chains!

We were looking for a good place that we hadn't tried before, and this had mostly good reviews. We were pleasantly surprised. My order of filet tips and my guy's order of shrimp florentine were so, so good!! We finished it off with cheesecake. The ambiance was great and the server was polite, albeit very busy... We will be back. We hope the next time is as good!

Like the new decor. We tried the fish sandwich, fries and chicken wings all really good ( could use some wing sauce variety). Would like to see Dewar's at the bar. Service great. Welcoming fire in the fire place all and all a nice change

I've been in the area for years and never been. We had a great dinner. Drink at the bar then a table by the fire place. The Pork Ribeye was great. My wife had coffee rubbed salmon with Sriracha Honey Sauce. It was great too.
