Chestnut Grove Cabins

Quite frankly, pictures do not do it. Justice from an immaculately cleaned beautiful modern home to the tranquil setting I could not have asked for more. I am an owner with Bluegreen resorts. I've never stayed at a place that was more set up and ready and welcoming to the beginning of our vacation than I did at this cabin. I walk around barefoot 24/7. Usually I have to put slippers or something on because floors are never cleaned. Not once did I have to do this there. It wasn't just countertops. The refrigerator was clean. The bedrooms were clean. There wasn't a speck of dirt anywhere to be seen. I truly did not want to come home. This was a trip I did not want to take because of personal reasons but this cabin changed it for me. I had the most unexpected enjoyable. Good time ever and if you rent make sure you go to Grandma Faye's. They have been in the area far before the tourism hit and they are the most incredible people you will ever meet. Tell them the strangers sent you lol I guarantee they will get a laugh out of it

Perfect! I took my husband here for a weekend getaway to celebrate our 5th year together, 6 months of marriage and our dogs 1 year birthday, LOL!
So, SCORE, for being pet friendly! The hot tub was another BONUS! We were there Friday-Sunday, spent Saturday relaxing in the hot tub and around the cabin. We both work SO MUCH, and having that day to just veg out, was perfect.
We were no more than 10-20 minutes from trailheads, groceries, an apple stand, local restaurants, visitors centers, etc.

We stayed in "Morning Light."

Instructions on how to get to and into the house were PERFECT.
The cabin was clean, comfortable, and definitely can accommodate up to 6 adults. I have added Chestnut Grove to my list of places to return with my Hikerbabes for a Retreat!

We stayed in cabin #2 this past weekend and it was amazing. The cleanliness, privacy, and ease of booking with the very fair pricing was more than we could ask for. The cabin itself is located by other cabins but still far enough to be secluded. We were happy to see that located not far was a few little stores and shops to grab something if needed. It did rain the whole weekend so we did spend alot of time indoors however in this cozy, and peaceful cabin we did not mind at all. The cabin had information for all of the local attractions as well as a chart to show you nature trails, and peak times for visiting. They also provided more than enough basic kitchen and bathroom necessities wich made packing so much easier! We have a large dog and there was more than enough room for her to have fun outside and the scenery was gorgeous. We enjoyed the very clean hot tub and appreciated the fact that it was checked daily. I would highly recommend this cabin rental company as some of our friends and family are already looking to book, and we plan on coming back in the fall. Thank you for making our weekend getaway so nice!!!

My family of 6 stayed in natures bliss cabin over the weekend . Plenty of room , Beautiful cabin very clean . With all of us we was able to take showers back to back with no issues of hot water . They enjoyed the hot tub and the wooded area was just what we were looking for.. We loved our stay and close to all the trails we enjoy …Definitely would recommend.

We rented Cabin 1 this past weekend. It was probably the cleanest cabin I have stayed in. The bathroom was fully stocked, the kitchen had plenty of dishes for our 4 adults and one child. The picnic table by the fire pit was really awesome. We loved the hot tub and appreciated the fact that it was checked daily to make sure the PH levels were right. The cabin is surrounded by woods and the only time I saw the other cabins was when were in the driveway or drove them. We didn't hear them either. This is a great location only like 5 miles from Old Mans cave.

We had a couple questions prior to our arrival and George was very responsive. We had more than enough room with four adults and a child. I would 100% book this cabin again.

I just stayed here recently and this cabin was beautiful! The cabin is set back in a very quiet and secluded area with easy directions to find as well as a nice gravel driveway leading to it. The outside was meticulously maintained with a nice bench and fire ring for fires. Upon going in the cabin it was extremely clean and inviting as we immediately felt at home. There are alot of simple, attention to detail type stuff that the owners have thought of that just makes your experience that much better. You can really tell they care about their guests. I wont spoil everything for anyone that is reading this that plans to stay there but just know this place is beautiful and the owners really care and it shows! Thank you for a wonderful stay and we will DEFINITELY return!!

WE LOVED OUR STAY HERE! My boyfriend and I rented out the Nature’s Bliss Cabin #1 for 3 nights. Overall our experience was amazing and the cabin was well maintained and CLEAN!

They provided household items such as extra garbage bags, dish soap and scrub pads, toilet paper, coffee filters, Etc. The only supplies you will need to bring are paper towels and paper plates as we did. They also provide a helpful list of close trails, stores and restaurants. There is even a gas station about 5 minutes away.

This cabin sits at the end of a gravel drive and is secluded. Even though there are 2 other cabins that sit just up the road, when you are on the back porch or in the hot tub, you don’t even notice.

The hot tub was great, and I was very impressed to find on the list of information they provided that a maintenance person stops by daily to check levels and what not for the hot tub! We happened to be at the cabin during one of the times the maintenance man had stopped by and he was not a bother! We barely noticed he was there.

If you are looking for a getaway trip, I highly recommend booking with Chestnut Grove Cabins! This was my first time to Hocking Hills and I will definitely be coming back and staying in the same cabin. I attached pics of the bathroom as I didn’t see any on the website and also a picture of the gravel drive from the front of the cabin, backyard, and view of back porch from in the hot tub.

I stayed at Chestnut Grove Cabins this past weekend for a long weekend getaway with my husband, our 1 year old daughter and our 2 dogs. The cabins were nice, clean, spacious and private! The hot tub was clean and maintained and the views from the balcony were beautiful! We searched for a cabin that allowed dogs, and I am so glad we booked here! The rates are affordable and the pet fee is reasonable. Oh, and it was just a short drive to all the amazing hiking trails! The only thing I would have like to have had provided was a mop. With 2 dogs and lots of dirt and dust outside, the floors quickly became too dirty for my 1 year old to play on. This was our first time booking a cabin as a family and we definitely plan on booking with them again in the future!

Amazing! We loved our stay at Chestnut Grove Cabins! The owners were friendly, the cabin was clean and cozy. We stayed at the Morning Light Cabin. The views were great, the hot tub was clean, the kitchen was fully stocked as well as the bathroom. Plenty of towels, linens, etc. Close to all the hiking spots. Just buy your groceries ahead of time because there isn't really anywhere to shop and also print all your maps ahead of time because you don't get service. I stayed with my husband and 2 sons and we had the best time. Will definitely be back! Thanks again!

Had a great stay with my girlfriend and our two dogs. Very well kept and supplies were exactly what you would need for a stay. We over packed and upon arrival realized it wasn't necessary. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking supplies. Please continue to take such good care of this place! We will definitely return. My only criticism would be it would have been really nice to have TV in the bedrooms for more guest to have their own private area.

We were very pleased with Natures Bliss cabin #1. Pictures didn't do it justice. It's a good size roomy cabin with a big bedroom downstairs and a large loft with a bed and plenty of storage. The area was so peaceful and quiet. Our grandbabies enjoyed the 2 porch swings and the hottub, it was clean and someone stopped by to check the chemicals while we were gone for the day (they explained that it's their routine) so no big deal. Dont forget your beach towels! That's explained in the description of the cabin. (We had ours).. We did see one deer coming down the lane, it's close to all attractions.. I'd rent this cabin again 😊

Very clean cabin and stocked with everything except paper towels! It was cozy and secluded which is what we wanted! The upstairs bedroom can get hot so there’s two fans up there to help with that. It was a perfect weekend spot! When we walked in we could smell it was clean. Highly recommend! We stayed in Nature’s Bliss this past weekend.

Was very cozy and comfortable,close to the trails and they left a list of recommended hours for trails in the area,they recommended we bring beach towels for the hot tub not a problem we appreciated they told us to bring some ,hot tub-was very clean they checked chlorine levels every day we hardly noticed he was there,the kitchen and bathroom was fully stocked minus a hair dryer which most of us already own so bring yours. There was extra blankets provided.My boyfriend brought firewood but there was a few slabs there already. There is a grill, bring your charcoal.If you bring pets or children I advise you bring a mop,there’s a broom and dustpan provided. Will definitely be back!

Fantastic. we stayed in cabin 2. extremely clean and well stocked. we only had to bring paper towel which we were told about when renting cabin. Hot tub was clean and well taken care of. I was definitely impressed and had no disappointments. would definitely recommend and will use again if we go back to visit.

Absolutely incredible!! The cabins are great took my 4 year old daughter on a weekend getaway and be able to see some waterfalls . Ten mins away from the attractions at hocking . The provide more than enough in the cabins such at pots pans and bedding . Definitely going to be coming back and will suggest it to anyone !!

Great 3 day stay in the Morning Light cabin between Christmas and New Year's Eve. Very nice location between Laurelville and Old Man's Cave. Easy to find using Google Maps. Cabin is large and clean. The first floor bed was very comfortable and extra blankets were available. Kitchen was well stocked. Bathroom was also well stocked with towels and necessities. If you are used to using a blow dryer, you will need to bring one. Also, keep in mind that cell service isn't available but that's not uncommon in this area. The gas fireplace stopped working on our second day but someone came out quickly to fix it. Looking forward to staying here again.

Such a great get away!!! The cabin was beautiful, clean and had all of the amenities we needed to make our experience exceptional!!! I would highly recommend this place to anyone just looking to get away from it all. It was close to the local attractions and provided comfort and peace after a long day of hiking the beautiful trails of Hocking Hills Forrest.

IMMACULATELY CLEAN NICE log cabin. A bit pricey, maybe due to Covid times.
Owners really need to furnish towels for the hot tub. I don't know why they did not, because they furnished the other linens. (Seems like it goes along with the premium of a hot tub.) Maybe because their towels were colored and they feared bleaching by the chlorine. I suggest they furnish white towels, then. Bath towels will do. We forgot to bring and ended up drying with white WASHCLOTHS. :-( Not swell.

We have stayed at these cabins 3 times now. Absolutely no problems during any of our stays. Perfect as a couple get away or a family trip. Each time the cabins are completely spotless. Can't wait to return next year!

Great stay, very convenient location and accommodating hosts. The view from the porch swing is absolutely relaxing! Very private piece of Hocking Hills area. The hot tub was in immaculate condition and everything was simply amazing during our stay!!!!! Can't wait to go back!!!!
