The Village Parlor

The food was good, the service was great. It was a bit pricy, but welcome to our current economy. Overall, fun place to visit. Picture is the grilled tuna fish with sweet potato fries. The fries were very crispy and tasted great without anything added.

Loved this place. I had the pimento cheese and bacon burger and had them double it up. It was fantastic. Unfortunately, it didn’t leave enough room for dessert. I also had a taste of the tuna salad sandwich and it was quite good.

Charming, classic space with great service. I’ll be back when I’m in the area.

Stopped in for lunch and ice cream while spending the day exploring downtown Lebanon, Ohio. Great food, for a great price, served by a friendly server! We loved the nostalgic decor and feel also!

Stepped onto this place and it was like a time machine. Super delicious ice cream treats and an amazing atmosphere to boot. The banana ice cream is so good.
Service was outstanding. Parking tricky to find but available on the street. Coming back here next time I'm in downtown Lebanon.

Delicious ice cream in a variety of flavors and combinations, plus an amazing staff that have friendly and welcoming attitudes (even if you come in 10 minutes before close and ask for a bunch of stuff)

I have been going to this place for years. Some of my favorite memories is taking my grandparents here. The food is amazing and the ice cream sundaes. My mom loves their tuna melt sandwich. I love the atmosphere and the service is very attentive. It’s always a tradition to come here at least once a year.

My family and I dropped in on my business partner and his family earlier today in Lebanon.

I told my wife and kid that if they came with me we could stop by the ice cream joint we had heard so much about earlier in the year.

We are all glad that we did… Each of us grabbed an appetizer. I had chili cheese fries, my son had plain fries, and my wife had chicken tenders. Every bit of it was hot and delicious!!

For a dessert, I had a chocolate malt and my wife and son both decided to have a small cup of the Rasberry chocolate chip!! Village ice cream parlor and restaurant just added three more fans to the mix!

Thank you for a wonderful meal and the great service! We will definitely be back the next time we’re in town.

Stopped for ice cream after the parade. Nice ambience and pleasant atmosphere. We had sundae and double ice cream cone. I created my own sundae, which was vanilla ice cream with raspberry sauce and whipped cream. One of the best I ever had anywhere. Add a prompt service, professional staff and a good value, and it makes this place a must stop. We just had ice cream, but food looked very appealing.

Cool little Classic Americana joint! The staff is super friendly and the cooking crew makes a great classic cheeseburger. 10/10 would visit again!

Stopped here to get dinner on a mother-daughter evening out. We had good food and great service. The girls working there were really busy and very polite and friendly. We will definitely be back and would recommend stopping here for food or for dessert! We shared their lemon chiffon ice cream and it was great!

This was my first visit. I only had the ice cream and it was very good! They had sandwiches and soup also among other food and drinks. A very cozy place to stop in and relax after walking downtown and visiting the other stores in Lebanon.

Absolutely love this place. First time here and I will definitely return every opportunity I get. The chocolate milkshake and Western BBQ Burger were amazing. The Chili's cheese fries and the environment itself or enough to top off our experience this time. I cannot wait to come back in the future to try other items off their fabulous menu.

Sure, there is the Golden Lamb right across the street but you can't eat there all the time. Very affordable lunch options here that are what you might fix at home if you had the energy. Have I mentioned the ice cream? Worth going off your diet!

I don't see how 2 dry burgers are worth $27. My Western burger was chewy and dry. Perhaps old. 1 tiny quarter sized onion ring on it? No pickle, even when I asked for it. I'm done eating here. I feel like they are cutting corners and stopped caring. This isn't the first time either. It's every time decide to try it again.

My family loved the Village Parlor! We enjoyed dinner and ice cream together. I recommend the fish sandwich.

On our way out of town and found this cute diner. Service was fast, polite, and accurate. Food portions were perfect! Order small so you can have dessert!!! Worth it! Highly recommend

Village Parlor is my new favorite spot in the Dayton area for shakes, but the true cherry on top is the staff. I don’t know of a place with friendlier employees. Make sure you dine in to get the full experience!
