Courtyard by Marriott Columbus Downtown

Being walking distance to all things fun in downtown Columbus is worth it! We went to a concert at Nationwide arena, ate at Boston’s pub, got ice cream at the North Market and after concert fun at Gaswerks. And all within 1/4 miles of the Courtyard. I highly recommend the place. The rooms were comfortable although a bit dated. But all we cared about was proximity and comfort and this place delivered.

All around the service was great. Travel for work and plan on making this my permanent stay. 10/10 all the way around. The bartenders downstairs were amazing as well.

I enjoyed my stay from beginning to end. My room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable. All of the employees were so friendly, professional, and helpful. Especially Jose. He is an asset to the business. I hope he is recognized for his outstanding work. The hotel is only a block away from Nationwide Arena. This was so convenient for me as I was attending events there all week.

One last thing…there is absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel. The reviews describing it as run down and in need of repairs are ridiculous. Some people are just impossible to please.

Very clean rooms, comfy beds, has everything you need included. The front desk associates are so nice! Always greeting you with a smile! The lobby is clean & decorated! The dining area is big and we'll maintained. Over all, this is a wonderful, historic facility to stay at! Don't hesitate!

Great location just a few blocks from the Hyatt Regency Convention Center. I stayed here with some friends as an alternative for a convention we attended because the rooms at the Hyatt were already sold out, and I was not disappointed. I don't know the exact room type, but I think it was an 'extra space' double queen. We had a little office space that was an offshoot from the bedroom with a kitchenette (sink, cabinets with dishes, microwave, and minifridge) and a desk, which really came in handy for one member of my party who unfortunately had to remote in and do some work during out trip.

I can't speak about the restaurant, because the hours were a little odd and we never got a chance to eat there (to be fair we were keeping odd hours with the convention too). But there was always coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby, which was clutch as we were visiting in January and had to walk a few blocks each day. You can ignore what everyone else is saying about the valet being required, the lot the valets use is literally right next to the hotel and you can self park if you want for the same price of $35 a night and not have to worry about getting valet involved.

Staff was great, check in was easy, no issues with billing. Would definitely stay again if I am in town for an event at the convention center and cannot stay on site.

Super clean. The cleaning staff and reception were really kind and friendly. The flavored water in the lobby was delicious.

Stayed at the Marriott this past weekend, and boy was it an amazing experience. The hotel was very convenient as we were at the convention center 12 minute walk woo hoo. The bistro was so great awesome food.. definitely come enjoy your stay at courtyard Marriott Columbus Ohio. You won’t be disappointed. Check out the bistro

My daughter and I have the best experience staying at this hotel; not only because the rooms were nice and clean; it is mainly because the amazing STAFF who goes extra mile to deliver the best customer service. I appreciate you all so much. 💕

Great location and service. Staff was extremely helpful, rooms clean and adequate. Only ate breakfast there, but choices were plentiful and service at the restaurant wad A+++.

The.rooms are fine. The floor plans are a little odd, as every room seems to require navigating a few steps. Our room requires us to go down 2 steps to get to the bathroom. There is a motion sensor that provides light on the steps. That's very helpful in the dark.

Good service, clean hotel in a safe area. Offers valet parking.

Great location if you are in town for an event at the arena - takes about 5 mins to walk.

Courtyard Downtown has become a second home for my team. Their team is so helpful and goes out of their way to make sure every visit we have is a great one. I wish more hotels had a manager like Bryant that understands and accommodates building a relationship with corporate clients.

The staff here were amazing! So welcoming and friendly! I would definitely stay here. The great staff made me forget about the insane parking price. My room was comfortable and spacious. I loved it here. I would come back simply because of the amazing staff. Big shout to Amy and all of the front desk staff and of course Johnny and all of the fantastic Bistro staff! Thank you for making my stay great!

Great location and very price. Very friendly staff and clean rooms. This is also one of the only hotels, that I could find, in downtown Columbia with an indoor pool and hot tub.

We stayed one night to attend a concert at Nationwide Arena, a 5min walk. The hotel is located just outside of the restaurants & bars area.
Hotel lobby was clean, valet was efficient at check in/out.
Staff was welcoming & friendly as you passed through the lobby. We did not get a chance to try any on-site amenities.
Our room was clean and looked freshened up (not dated) but was on the smaller size for a double bed room. For the business traveler theee ample work space & outlets.
The only thing I would ding them on is that I am personally not a fan of Marriott's switch to communal pump bottles of shampoo/conditioner & body wash. EWE!!

We had my daughter's wedding in Columbus and chose this Marriott for our bridal party and guests. We were so pleased with our experience and the hotel is beautiful. Houlihan's provided food for the bridal party. The food was delicious and it came on time to our room in a beautiful set up!

Christy set up a beautiful Rehearsal Dinner the night before the wedding in this beautiful hotel. The servers were great and the food very good!!
I would highly recommend!

Best part about our stay was our dealings with Ricky (Rick) . He was the best and went above and beyond. My only complaint is that there is stairs you have to go up to get upto the elevators. Go see Rick he's the best !

Currently staying at this hotel while in town for a family function and I must say I've had a pleasurable stay so far. While this may not be one of the more updated expansive Courtyards I've visited, it's still a good property. The rooms are super quiet, definitely able to get a great night's sleep. The staff is really fantastic!! It's becoming rare to find good customer service these days but every staff member I have encountered has been truly great. From the morning to the night shift, no decline in the level of service given. I would recommend.

Stayed here for 2 nights for a concert. The staff were friendly, hotel room was great with very comfortable beds! The pool is kinda small but nothing to complain about, so it was very good. Valet service was fast and easy - they make it really convenient. Overall this is a great, affordable hotel to stay at for a concert or to just enjoy Columbus. Easy 5 stars!
