Renaissance Columbus Downtown Hotel

Having stayed at several Renaissance Hotels, I must admit this was the best. Valet was great, check in staff very friendly and efficient, folks in the bar (especially friendly and helpful Pierre) were excellent, and service people for the rooms were quite nice.
We were at this hotel as the base for a wedding. The first night was a meet and great at the hotel and they did a wonderful job, as they did on our breakfast the last morning.
All in all this is one of the best experiences at a hotel my wife and I have ever had. Kudos to all the staff for a job well done.

I had my wedding and bunch of my family member coming to columbus two weeks ago, there were misunderstanding between me and my family member about what kind room they want but the front desk Melonie was absolutely so nice, patient, and thoughtful from the beginning to end. I’ve traveled many places and stayed countless hotels but never met a front desk person like Melonie. How she helped us makes me and my wife so moved every time when we think about hotel and her. Best wishes to her and the Renaissance.

We only stayed there for one night, but the front desk clerk named Kasha made us feel so welcome. She was so warm and pleasant and definitely made our experience better. She definitely needs a raise

I'm reviewing the pool and staff at this location. I purchased a pool pass for the day. We had a great time. The hot tub is large and cozy. The pool is not too deep, so kids and elderly can safely swim. I think it was 4 feet at the deepest, but it was perfect for lounging and talking with friends. Plenty of chairs and nice staff. Would recommend.

I travel a lot for work/vacation and choose to stay at Marriott hotels. Over the past 7 years of staying exclusively in Marriotts, this hotel ranks in the top 3 regarding customer service. Alexandra at check-in was extremely helpful and accommodating. Violet in the concierge lounge was a delight to hang out with while I enjoyed breakfast. The younger gentlemen with glasses (I believe his name was Ricky?) went above and beyond to make sure my family was checked in while I was offside at a music festival. Bob with Lost Prevention helped me with my luggage numerous times and was extremely accommodating with my luggage during a late check out. I felt extremely safe with the night staff (the gentleman's name escapes me that I ran into several occasions in the evening). Jessica in the restaurant was also a delight. I cannot wait to book this hotel next year for Sonic Temple 2025 and I hope to see the same staff again. The hotel is a little older but the staff make this place a 5 star location. Nice hotel in downtown Columbus! Very good location! Clean rooms and facilities! The gym is nice big and clean! Breakfast was amazing!

Great Marriott property in Columbus, we have stayed at them all. Easiest valet parking. Great concierge room. Large, scenic outdoor pool. Clean, updated rooms. Easy walk to the Ohio Theater, Blue Jackets, Clipper, Crew, stadiums. I will look at this property first when planning my next staycation.

Stayed here last week and had a great experience. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Service was friendly and great, especially the valet who did a fantastic job during a busy check out time. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Very clean, well organized. The absolute best turkey club sandwich I've ever had. The only thing I would criticize was the toilet. Very very low and difficult for seniors to use. All in all a very nice hotel and staff. I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic service from the PMC Valets to the front desk and the bar staff.
The housekeeping staff were fabulous as well.

Toilets are super low to the ground. Weird review but just had to say it. Other than that love the spot.

The staff here are amazing and make all the difference in guest experience! I am currently staying here and Camille at check in and Kayla when I called for help, were beyond friendly and helpful. I am grateful for one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in my extensive travels.

Side note, as noted by others, the rooms have some wear and tear and outdated, with sometimes not working- time for a bit of a refurb.

Shout out to Troy, we had a big room block for our wedding and a number of guests randomly mentioned how nice and accommodating he was. Super helpful getting us situated and all settled in our room.

Great hotel and location. The restaurant was wonderful as well. We liked the indoor pool.

The best part of our stay was Troy! He was so kind and helpful. What a sweetheart! Such a pleasant person to work with.

The rooms are always very clean and comfortable when we stay. We enjoyed the pool thoroughly.

Everything was perfect down to the valet service. The room was clean and very nice, room service was exceptional. Convenient location in downtown. The breakfast was wonderful!

I came here around July 23-25 I forget when but we had to change rooms 4 times Because there cleaners Suck. Although Its a pretty nice place The beds were comfy. Andrew at the front desk was very nice so if see him give a nice little TIP. ( There is no microwave Thats a safe I lost a bag of popcorn for that )

Had the most pleasant check in I’ve had in years! The agent who’s name we forget (Maybe Riley or Drew? He’s blonde with glasses) complimented our whole party’s outfits and made us feel warm and welcome. He also gave us info on the surrounding area including breakfast ideas. 10/10 give that person a raise!!!!

We loved this hotel! The staff there is TOP Tier 🤌 the building itself is charming, clean and unique. We ordered room service and that was fabulous. There is no parking (free anyways) for guests and valet was 45.00 which is fairly typical of hotels in this area. Would absolutely stay again.
