stayed here overnight for my bday because we stayed late in short north. I was skeptical about this hotel but because it was late decision we decided to stay here. The price was better compared to other hotels, this hotel was a good location from short north. Our bedroom was big and the view was nice! our bed was comfy overall it was a good experience for our first time stay here.

Room was nice. I hated the lock on the elevator and the door to the ramp to the convention center. Those should be accessible during the day at least. Hallway on my floor (9) never was swept once during my visit or before. Same bits including glass on the floor. Other than that. Good stay

I was there under a false alias from May 5th to May 8th and I was greeted by two beautiful women, one named Alexis and the other named Jazmin. Alexis’s attitude was excellent and marvelous for someone as young as her. She helped me get checked in and get settled. Other the other hand, Jazmin’s hospitality was extremely helpful and extravagant. She showed me to my immaculate room and told me about all the luxurious things to do, eat, and see in the heart and soul of Ohio. I never knew there was a chocolate treat named after a peanut and a football team! I’ve been to COSI, I’ve been to the Columbus Art Museum (Love it there, do recommend), I even went on a walk on High Street at night and I can say that the street was amazingly beautiful and lighted. I’m from Kansas so, I can officially say that Ohio has one of the amazing views from your hotel room! For anyone who is curious about a place to stay in Columbus, Ohio…. I extremely recommend Sonesta Hotel in Downtown Columbus! Ask for either Alexis or Jazmin or both because these ladies will get you right and you’ll never want to leave the hotel nor the state. Once again, Thank you Alexis and Jazmin for the great hospitality and experience you gave me while I was Ohio. Until we meet again…. GO OHIO STATE BUCKEYES!! (If I said that wrong, someone please let me know.)

I stayed here for 3 nights in February 2024. The room was clean, the staff was polite and helpful. It's located in a great central area, North Market and the stadium are both close by. They just need better wayfinding from the parking garage to the hotel lobby, we walked in circles a couple times trying to get to and from our car.

Was really impressed with this hotel. Clean and beds were super comfy. Also very accommodating. We were able to check in early and check out an hour late. Sky walk was handy

This was my first time staying at a Sonesta hotel and everything was great. The staff was super friendly, room was spacious and clean and the only thing I found odd was that housekeeping didn’t come at all hence the 4 instead of 5 stars for service. Otherwise, I’d highly recommend the hotel. Also, while the drinks at the bar may be a bit pricey, ‘Sweater Weather’ was by far my favorite and one that was definitely worth it!

Nice clean rooms. Beds are a little stiff but it's a hotel. Can't have everything perfect. My wife left a ring in the room. We called back. Front desk clerk went and found it personally. And it was returned to us. Great service

Great location. Room was well appointed and clean. A little sparse for a mid range hotel, but the location is nice and the bed was super comfortable. Parking is a chore, expect to spend $20 a day for that in the closest garage, but the staff was extremely courteous and helpful at the desk. Check-in and out were quick and easy. They even offered to have my bike stored with the valet overnight since I was a little concerned about leaving it on the car rack in the garage.

We booked with this hotel to be within walking distance of Nationwide Arena. It was a great choice. The rooms were contemporary, clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Great room. Very clean. Great cable TV. Columbus is a dead city. It was Friday evening and absolutely nothing going on. No traffic, no people, no nothing. But we were just traveling through and got a 4 star Priceline surprise hotel for $90 so it was worth that for sure.

Room was in the "loft section". Huge Room and super comfy bed. The little convenience shop in the lobby was a nice touch to grab a snack and a drink. The only down side is the ridiculous parking charges. $20+/night self park and $42/night valet.

I stayed here during the Ohio Pharmacists Association conference. I stayed in the 2 queen, deluxe room on the loft side. The room was very clean and I was very satisfied with my stay. I would definitely recommend staying here, it is in a great location, has a public parking garage right outside and most eating places are within walking distance. 5/5 stars!

We chose the Sonesta Columbus Downtown for our wedding hotel block, and we highly recommend them! They were great to communicate with in the booking process, and our guests had nothing but good things to say. We used two of their suites for our wedding party to get ready in, and there was plenty of space for everyone to hangout and enjoy as we got ready for the big day. We loved having Vine and Forge in the lobby, and the staff there was great to us all. We would choose Sonesta again!
