DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Columbus Downtown

My friends and I wooked a double room for a night when we were going to a concert. The room was beautiful and spacious the front desk people were so nice and gave us each a free cookie and waterbottles when we arrived complimented our concert outfits. The only downside was the girls who slept on the pullout bed said it was super uncomfortable but overall we had a great stay! Shout out to Michael at the front desk for being so cool to us 😎

Very nice stay. Very clean. And the young lady who waited on us was amazingly nice. She took great care of us. Will come back just because she was so poly, and friendly. Thank you

We stay in this hotel every year for the 4th of July, but this time my son asked for his bday to stay here, so we did. The rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful and polite. My only "complaint" would be about breakfast, it used to be room service now it's only buffet and definitely not kid friendly. Plus the cost I feel was really high, as most hotels offer a hot breakfast with stay and offer the exact same food.

Upon reading reviews after booking our stay here I was a little worried as some seemed a bit harsh. I wanted to be sure I left a good review since we had a great experience here and to hopefully leave the next guests less worried. Upon arriving the staff members were very friendly and welcoming. Every encounter I had during our stay was a great experience. They even took care of our parking as long as you are in the garage connected to the hotel. They disclosed all information upon arrival so that we knew where and how to access our amenities. Our room was very clean and comfortable and I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was fantastic! Robin and Lawrence were both wonderful! Rooms were clean and comfy! Saw some past reviews about the ac not working but ours worked great and we had no issues. Definitely coming back!!

An extremely nice property in Columbus, Ohio.

We've stayed here twice this year, and been thrilled both times. The service is excellent, and the rooms are spotless. We've had the corner suites during our stays, with beautiful views of the river.

The bar in the hotel is very nice, and the available buffet for breakfast is solid.

Also, the hockey arena and baseball field are both a short walk away (roughly 15 minutes), so there's no need to drive to either venue.

Highly recommended!

We stayed in a beautiful, large suite with a king bed for one night to see Billy Joel last weekend. The only remark I would make is that the woman working the front desk (I didn't catch her name) could have been a bit friendlier to us. I would describe her demeanor as no-nonsense, but she got the job done. Our bed and pillows were much softer than we prefer, but that'll happen. Other than that, it was a great stay!

Nice place to stay near Nationwide Arena. Had to pay to park which I felt should have been included as a guest of the hotel.

Hotel was great & the service was even better. Front desk workers were super nice & super helpful. Highly recommend staying! Rooms were a tad outdated, but great water temperature & water pressure makes up for it. Huge windows for great views.

We came all the way from Tennessee for a concert. I will be back. The location is amazing. The employees are amazing. The rooms are so specious so we wasn't on top of each other. The bed so comfortable. Thank you for the hospitality and just being amazing.

Staff was outstanding, everything was very clean, and the hotel was in a good location. Highly recommend!

The only thing that could've enhanced our stay would have been a free continental breakfast. Very kind staff!

The hotel was very nice, location was right on point. We were a couple of minutes away from the arena. The staff here was very professional, our room was big also clean. The only dislike was the breakfast wasn’t free like the other hotels we stayed in but it wasn’t pricey either. So I will give it a 3 out of 5 for breakfast. We will definitely stay here again. A big thank you to the young woman that talked with me about her stay in Cincinnati when she came to see Charlie Wilson , I do apologize for not remembering her name , but she went beyond to make our stay great because I was really sick. Thank you again. Also I left a bag behind and they got my bag and is shipping it to me . So I thank the staff for that also .. the hotel get 5 stars !!!

The only issue I have is the fact that I am a Hilton member and I was not allowed a late check out.

This hotel is fine. Location is perfect, desk staff very professional, all the things you'd expect from a Hilton branch hotel. Yes, the place is showing its age. But at 112 bucks a night in the middle of Downtown Columbus I can't in good conscience complain about it.

The room and facility was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The area is perfect with plenty to do within walking distance. Great views of downtown although the windows could have been cleaned better. The parking could also be cheaper but besides that all was good.

Mario, Kesha, Josh and Jennifer had excellent customer service. Honestly every employee I came across did. The rooms were great, if your ever in Columbus I highly recommend this place. Also Josh as bartender is like also seeing a stand up comedy show.

Very nice...... Yes the rooms were fantastic very nice very clean I enjoyed the two waters that they let that on the counter even though they could have been in the fridge maybe I should write that in a review for them personally so maybe they start doing it... Only 42, 000 Hilton points plus deposit for one night and one of their rooms on the 9th floor. I mean the only thing I didn't really care for was the bathroom I look out in the front and everything and it looks on nice and stuff and then I go to the bathroom and it looks like and you're in a padded white wall but to be there for the rest of your life because you're in the house type

I was on a cross country move and needed to stop in Columbus. I did not have a reservation and was worried about having a place to stay. Julia at the front desk was amazing and extremely helpful. As well as being extremely enthusiastic about the area. The rooms were amazing and the bed was extremely comfortable. I cannot give this place enough praise. Wish I had more time to explore all the hotel had to offered.

Overall the hotel was great! Small minor issues: Shower drained slow and room was warm even after turning off the thermostat. (which made it a bit stuffy for my liking, but really can't be too fussy since it is chilly in October) We asked one of the room cleaners for additional toilet paper but she didn't seem thrilled to be working and didn't leave any by our door. Ice machine only worked on the 10th floor.

Room was very spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. Starbucks in the lobby was a great morning stop. Parking was added to our room for every night we stayed (which was an expected price for parking in a city). It was very convenient to have a secure spot for our car even though we could walk everywhere. Location was amazing to walk to and from the event we attended at Nationwide Arena (TØP concert!!).
