Sheraton Columbus Hotel at Capitol Square

Had a nice stay with a beautiful view of downtown. Parking was a bit of a nightmare but thats downtown for ya.
There was A LOT of water damage around our window which was concerning but I will say the curtains kind of covered. Overall I'd stay again.

This is a great example of how great customer service will make up for things that go wrong. The key card machine was broken, but the staff was friendly and did their best to get us all into our rooms quickly. I really appreciated that. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the water pressure was good in the shower. The gym is on the top floor. The view while doing cardio is great.

Beautiful views from our room, clean and comfortable stay. We had some issues with the water but management was quick to make it right. Starbucks in the lobby was a bonus. Will definitely be back.

We stayed Saturday for the Ohio State mishitgan game, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. We arrived early Saturday hoping to park our car, so we could catch a cab to the stadium. The lady at the front desk was so great, she already had our room ready, and got us with the valet so we could be on our way, even though our reservation technically wasn't available until later in the day. The room was great, super comfy bed. Staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. I didn't catch her name, but the front desk clerk deserves recognition! My wife works in Travel she'll be letting her clients know about our wonderful stay, and next time we stay downtown, the Sheraton at Capitol Square will be our choice!

My family and I recently stayed at the Sheraton Columbus Hotel. When we checked into the hotel we were greeted by Ibitihal Hussein at the front desk who assisted us with our check in. She was very accommodating and friendly. Whenever we needed to know anything she was always very helpful and knowledgeable…she was our go to during our stay! She’s an asset to the hotel!

We had a nice room for our three day stay for the Lewis Howes, Summit of Greatness. We really loved the ballrooms for our events and the bar was fantastic. Excellent food too! Our bartender, Nick, was amazing and was so welcoming. He made our stay so much fun!

Wonderful hotel, with excellent ammenities. What really made it EXCEPTIONAL though was the service. Rachel, at the front desk, was incredibly cool and kind. By the end of the trip, she felt more like a friend. She helped us out in many ways, helped us get prints we needed, in time, and was just generally awesome! Nick, at the bar, has a rad personality and informative. Great staff, great hotel!

Very, very clean!! So comfortable that I didn't want to get out of the bed and then the shower. Water was nice and hot for my daughter and I. The hospitality was spot on the girls up front were so pleasant and helpful. The club restaurant employees were just as great. And the food was amazing! The fact that it is so close to shops and theater was great. While we were here there was a concert going on in the Commons area which we were able to see from our room. So we went down to check it out. Fun time!! This was a last minute stop but with alot of hotels in the areas without availabilities it was refreshing to hear that they were able to accommodate us. Thank you for making our stay one of the best.

Rooms were very spacious, very clean, and we had everything we needed and more. The view of downtown from our room was gorgeous. The staff was excellent, very nice and helpful-as we were brand new to Columbus, even slipped a hand signed birthday card under the door while we were out the day of my birthday. Great experience at this hotel.

Looking at all the reviews I was a little worried about how I was going to like this hotel. However Rachel at the front desk was completely wonderful! I was able to get a room on the 19th floor as well as get a corner room to where the view was absolutely astounding! The bed was very comfy and clean! Everything was clean and everything worked perfectly fine! I would highly recommend!!!

Very friendly front desk staff. He had to give us directions to park and they were perfect and he was very nice to suggest food options for us. The room seemed clean and there were antibacterial wipes on the desk which was great. Only complaint: things weren't plugged in and we had to crawl around the floor to plug things like the lamp, the coffee maker and charging port on the night stand. Rooms could use a little TLC as wall paper was peeling in spots and light fixtures are rusting a bit. Also, fair warning: the hot water gets HOT FAST.

I booked this hotel as it was listed as a 4-star establishment. I travel quite a bit and in comparison to other similarly classed and priced hotels, the Sheraton Capital Square seems to fall a bit short. The hotel itself seems a bit dated, the rooms were comfortable but not at all memorable or even notable. The TV was relatively tiny, but they use a stellar infotainment system to control the TV, even optionally being able to pair a smart phone to it and use your phone as the remote. The one place where I can say this hotel shined was the staff. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, polite, professional, and effortlessly efficient. The location is ideal for a downtown hotel.

Everything truly great. We kind of like glass classes and coffee cups rather than plastic and paper, but that would be are really only less than positive plus comment. The bed was great in comfort, linens and pillows. Great downtown View from the room. Parking was 17 dollars for a 12 to 24 hours. The non-conventional shape of the room was nice for a change. Very elegant room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. E-Z Check In. The fitness room was creative. has a Starbucks in the lobby.

Had a little issues but Jada at the front desk made sure we were taking care of. She was very professional and understanding. Room was clean and bartender was great . We will be back. Thanks for the nice stay. Jada deserves a raise for all her hard work and kindness!! 😊

Stayed overnight for the 90s fest event. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful. My wife and I ate in the lounge, at first we were taken aback by the prices, assuming they were overcharging for mediocre tiny portions of food, however, it was the best hotel food we've had. Portions were adequate, Steaks were cooked and seasoned right, wings were meaty, club sandwich was delicious. Best experience Ive had in a hotel.

Everything here was exceptional. First time I stayed at a Sheraton Hotel. Room was clean and staff was extremely courteous. We had an issue with the booking process when my family and I gotten here but it was quickly fixed. They even gave us a card for free breakfast and even gave my baby free juice to drink. This is what customer service is all about (not just the free stuff) but just the way they handled the situation and how quickly they worked to resolve the problem. I WILL definitely stay here again :)

Tracy or Stacy... I can't remember which name but she works late nights. This woman met me on one of the worst days of my life. She was so caring, treated me with respect and made me feel so warm and welcome. The security officer showed concern and offered help when and where necessary. Not to mention this hotel was very nice, and comfortable and the view of Downtown Columbus was amazing. I highly recommend this place. If I ever return to Columbus this will be the only hotel I visit unless I'm prevented for some reason. This hotel deserves 6 Stars. May God bless that particular Concierge I mentioned. If someone can do something nice for her before I do, don't hesitate. She is so deserving and tell her Justine sent you. ❤❤❤

I went from Thursday - Sunday for the Arnold Sports Festival. The place was pretty crowded (which I assumed it would be) but I have nothing negative to say about it. From check in to check out, the staff was extremely helpful and well mannered towards me. My room was very clean, and I am very picky when it comes to cleanliness. The food and service at the restaurant/bar on floor #2 was very good as well. The only thing that would have made me even happier with my stay would have been if they had the complimentary Breakfast in the morning. Otherwise, as stated, I have no complaints and I would recommend staying there.
