Our first visit here we could not have found a more inviting place for breakfast.

Wife had French toast which she enjoyed. I had the Western omelette that was cooked perfect. It was a stuffed omelette with more topping on top and the hash browns are crispy and tasty and not overly salty.

The biscuit was the real star of my meal. These are never frozen. Never out of a can-biscuits made fresh each day and you will tell that from the first bite you take. No butter needed because the butter is baked right in.

Service was great even though they were very crowded. We had to wait slightly longer than normal for a meal but they kept us apprised of the wait and the meal was delivered very hot and fresh off the grill.

We will be back and would encourage you to go if you've not been there before.

Quiet and cozy little breakfast and lunch spot located just east of downtown Hamilton. I had breakfast and it was delicious. Eggs over easy, hash browns, sausage links and crispy bacon. Service was attentive, fast and friendly. I'd recommend you give it a try. 5 ✨'s!

Clean diner style of past. Very nice. We had breakfast special. All food was very good. They kept my coffee cup full.
The side entrance is handicapped friendly.
We bought pies to take home. They are homemade. Excellent!

A bit of history here in Hamilton. Been around a long time. Still love the old sign that says "air conditioned". Family owned for generations, they're known for their pies which are awesome. But if you're looking for a reasonably priced, diner type breakfast or lunch with a feel of yesterday, this is it.

If you're looking for an old fashioned restaurant with a classic back-home feel, then Hyde's is my highest recommendation. This restaurant has been in my family for three generations, and I am honored to come here and constantly see friendly and familiar faces!

Nice little diner, as you walk in your welcomed with friendly faces, prompt service and brianna in management is very tentative and passionate for the diner. This bbq bowl was absolutely amazing. Will definitely return

Delicious! The peanut butter pie was stellar! The food was good and so was the service.

The menu presents a wide variety of taste preferences. It is a great family restaurant to begin traditions meeting together to discuss the week's events. Prices are comparable and better often. Pies are homemade... and best of all... the GRAVY IS MADE FROM SCRATCH. I have been going there decades and I cannot recall a single time I was disappointed... my family as well. We need to support family owned businesses like this! My parent's first date was there so many years ago.
This is the place you want to try!

Feels like going back in time, you just can't find places like Hyde's anymore. The food is delicious and high quality, portions are filling, prices are very fair, and the service is top-notch!

Wonderful hometown restaurant. I have food allergies (gluten, dairy and more) but they took great care of me and I had a wonderful lunch with no after effects.

We drove over from Indy to experience this restaurant and we were not disappointed! The biscuits and gravy were on spot as well as the grits with cheese. The table next to us had French toast and it looked delicious as well. The staff was also super friendly and attentive. We ended up taking three pies home with us after hearing how great they were. So glad we did! The apple crumble, peach, and chocolate cream pies were all amazing. We will definitely be back to try lunch and dinner!!!

Traditional Mom and Pop restaurant ambience. My guest and I arrived a wee bit after they closed and they were kind enough to accomodate us. We had the roast beef special with mashed potatoes and brown gravy. Very flavorful and the portions were ample. I had not been here in several years and it was good to see that Hyde's had remained relatively unchanged. The service staff were personable and pleasant to interact with. So many of Hamilton's landmark restaurants have gone away. It is refreshing to have one still standing.
