Long John Silver's

I don’t like most foods from long John silvers because of the grease but the best thing to get here is their shrimp tacos. Perfectly seasoned and with the BAJA flavor it’s amazing with just the right amount of spicy. Service is always welcoming and polite.

Rocked up with my buddy. You don’t come to Long John Silvers for good food and a clean restaurant. You come for the hats and free tarter sauce. For real though, the ceiling is holding at least 30 gallons of grease. Have a wonderful day

This is the first time I’ve been to a LSJ and EVERYTHING was good. Fish, shrimp, chix, fries, Cole slaw and the crunchy bits! Service was good too. They even told me that it would be a minute so they could cook some fresh fish.

Haven't been here in a while but it was just as good as it always was. The food was nice and crispy, full of flavor. The employees were very friendly and we actually had the whole place to our selves. This place is a oldie but a goodie and I'd recommend it to all. Thanks Long Johns..keep it crispy..

When I tell you this was the most succulent grub I’ve ever had the pleasure to eat, I would not be lying. The fish is locally sourced from the hocking river and the locally obtained chicken hails from Nelson dining hall down the road! The second the delicate flaky fried fish gently touched my taste buds, I knew I’d be back. Don’t even get me started on the hush puppies! Before I even tasted one I heard a gentle hush coming from the fried beauty, almost as if to release me of my everyday pain softly implying “hey, it’s okay, you’re safe now” just as my mother used to say. It’s literally as if Gordon Ramsay and Guy Fieri had a love child and birthed the chef that works at this Michelin star establishment! I took my best buddy Nate and he agreed with everything I presented to you in this review. He (and I kid you not) goes back every single day with his husband J Robbie and son Nolan. When I asked Nolan how he felt he told me and I quote “I literally peed out of my butt when I first tried it” and followed up with “I literally club my son Nolan over the head with a wooden bat and yell ooga every time I smell the appetizers” I Would recommend the Athens LJS 100%! - From Peyton with Love ❤

The cashier, Christina, was extremely friendly, very helpful and patient with my children while they were figuring out what they wanted to eat and which sides to get. The food was fresh and tastes great. The restraunt was clean. Our first time at this particular location and I definitely wouldn't mind going back again the next time!

You know mostly I hardly ever go to ljs but every once in a while you crave it and it hits the spot. It's a clean friendly restaurant. The tarter sauce is awesome. This food is so unhealthy for you. But that's why it's good. 🤷‍♂

Food was fresh and very good. Sunday is all you can eat fish or chicken with 2 sides for $7.99. We couldn't eat more than the one plate and it was well worth the money. I wish I lived closer. I love Long John's.

We hadn't been to Long Johns in a while because of some bad experiences. Mostly with the ones inside KFC. This visit today took me back to when I was a kid. Loved it! They cooked everything just right and had great service. Thanks Athens Long John Silver's! We'll be back next time we travel through!

Good dining experience with my +1. Really enjoyed their signature long john silver's brand barley malt vinegar. I really want to tell the world how wonderful the atmosphere is here at Long Johns; it is nothing short of nautical. I feel like I am fishing on the high seas with my baby. We may be 30+ years younger than the next youngest patron here, but long johns helps me forget about that, and remember the good old times. Think 1960s America. Deadset in the middle of the country in Lexington Kentucky: the birthplace of this great chain. Never mind the fact that they started hundreds (if not) thousands of miles away from any coastline, this place really truly encapsulates living the life of a pirate. A pirate who enjoys good eating, and good coastline scenery. A true fine dining experience.

I have to drive at least a half hour just to get Long John's now. This and the one in Marietta are the closest to me now since the others near me closed. I love Long Johns...open up more not close more!

Whether drive through or dine in the food is always hot! Quiet atmosphere and the food is always good. My husband brings this to me from drive through to Columbus circle and it's still piping hot!

I'm changing my review from 8 months ago from 1 star to 5 star. Today's order was fast, fresh, and delicious. Way to turn this place around.

Fresh food. Great, friendly service. Clean restaurant. And a great 50s theme atmosphere. Fun place to have lunch or dinner. And they offer great specials.

It was great they always have fresh food and you never have to wait in line for 30 minutes you walk in and get your food great place
