My daughter has been going to Smart Strides since she was 10 weeks old back in April 2020, so right after the start of COVID-19. She is our first child so when I had to go back to work I was a nervous wreck and the thought of missing her all day was daunting. Smart Strides made my husband, my daughter and myself feel so comfortable with every aspect of this transition. They could sense my generalized apprehension of leaving my daughter and were so warm and accommodating. They welcomed me to call and check in throughout the day and were patient and kind with me when I did so. She was always happy at pick up and her meals, diaper changes, and needs were recorded and sent home with us each day.

She is now 19 months and still attending Smart Strides in the 18m classroom. This transition to a new classroom was another nerve racking time, but she has adjusted wonderfully and still happily stretches her arms out to go to the staff at drop off. We recently switched from 3 days a week to full time because while doing part time, she was always more content, less fussy, and had a smoother bedtime routine on the days that she attended daycare.

I truly believe this facility has helped my daughter to become so well adjusted and she has learned so much. We have even learned sign language from her that she’s brought home from daycare and the structure/routine is so important.

Yes, they are strict about drop off/pick up times but that is very clearly outlined in the contract that is signed prior to each school year. Yes, they are closed two weeks in the summer but these are free weeks (ie. we do not pay for them). You do have to pay for closures for holidays and snow days but I think this is pretty standard across all daycares. Their staff deserves paid time off and to be able to go home on time at the end of the day.

I appreciate this facility so much and am so glad we found them.

Smart Strides Preschool is a wonderful environment for both staff, parents, and children. Every family that brings their child to school here has nothing but great things to say! Though Smart Strides is new, it continues to grow and get more and more children! Do your family a favor and send your child to a great school!

I currently work at Smart Strides Childcare as a lead teacher. I would highly recommend this place for staff and for clients too. The boss is very helpful and goes above and beyond for her staff. This is probably the best place I have worked yet. The families and kids are great too.

All of these reviews seem to be from employees. My child went to Smart Strides for only a month. The time there was meh. Nothing hugely wrong happened but it certainly wasn't five stars either. Tiffany has very strict operating hours. You have to pay $50 a month to either pick up or drop off outside of these times. IF you are late you have to pay a dollar for every minute you are late due at the time of pick up. They are closed most holidays and two weeks in the summer. (all of which you have to pay them for) This was my first child and my first experience with a daycare so I had assumed that was all standard. You also have to pay them when they decide to close for a snow day. At one point they closed for two days in a row which left me scrabbling to find childcare at seven in the morning on the second day because I couldn't call out of work again. It has been a while since my child attended so maybe these policies have changed but I doubt it. They just seemed very money hungry.

The preschool teacher Ms.Megan called my child annoying because she would cry all day (no one told me she was crying all day) they were told to not tell me so I wouldn’t pull her.
You are running this place totally wrong.
Putting two year olds in preschool that can’t read or write or put their coat or shoes on? Having her cry all day so you don’t lose money? Closing down a room because you’re short staffed so you move “the oldest” up early when they aren’t ready.
For someone with so much education and experience with children, you are extremely rude to them and even consider yourself a “bully.” I have seen some disgusting things while working here. All you guys do is lie and not inform parents about how our kids day actually went. But you don’t care! Money hungry. Tatianna is the only good thing about this place, but there’s only 1 of her and 25+ kids,

If I could give 0 stars I would! I’m not the type to write negative reviews in fact I hardly ever write reviews but I felt that it is necessary so parents could be aware of my experience and not be tricked by the 5 star reviews left below - keep in mind majority of those are from staff members not parents. I’m sure there are people that have had good experiences with this daycare and I’m not here to bash I’m just here telling my truth and experience to maybe help someone down the road that might experience the same thing we did. The owner was very unprofessional and confrontational. Make sure you finish your paper work and make no mistakes on your first days or you will get criticized and confronted aggressively. Also make sure you NEVER speak up for your self or your kids. I arrived with my kids 12 min early on our second day of daycare and her words to greet us were “oh do you pay extra for early drop off” knowing we were new she sent us out of the building to wait in the parking lot. poor customer service and very rude and embarrassing for me and my kids. (Keep in mind this was the second time her sending us out of the building, first time was due to paperwork which is why I say make sure you fill it out correctly) I called my fiancĂ© very upset so he gave her a call with regarding the treatment towards us. If you make one comment about a concern for you or your kids she will throw you a two weeks notice and tell you to take your kids elsewhere, which I feel is very immature. She is very confrontational- after waiting in the parking lot the 12 minutes we went back inside. As I was getting my 7 month old out to hand to her (being very kind even though she was rude before hand) I handed her my baby and she confronted me asking me why the father called up there and “she doesn’t appreciate him coming at her” I told her that I was upset and didn’t appreciate what she did and she began to argue back and forth (while holding my 7 month old) she told
me I was unprofessional when in all reality she is unprofessional! I would never treat a customer the way she treated us and I run a million dollar asset and have 300 customers so I know customer service! she left the conversation with “I can’t do this, this is your two weeks notice” and turned her back on me and walked off with my 7month old. If I didn’t have a very important meeting at work I would have pulled my kids out right then and there. They will not be going back for the two weeks! if your ok with a bossy mean owner telling YOU and YOUR kids what to do then this is the place for you. She isn’t used to people who take up for them selfs and challenge her, but I’m sorry I will always stand up for me and my children if I feel someone is being hateful! I’m a strong woman and will never let anyone disrespect my kids or me, and she couldn’t stand that. Maybe it’s because she has no kids of her own and does not understand what it’s like to be a parent. Good luck and hope you read this before making your decision!

--her response to this review is a lie for we are not aggressive people, very kind people - once you meet her in person you will see for yourself - I hope you do not believe the response for it is a lie!! She is the aggressor and i feel sorry for you i seriously do, lying to make your business look good is very unprofessional!! Please please consider before bringing your kids here!!
