My daughter and I went for a wander in the woods and had perfect weather! Very few bugs, not to muddy, cool breeze and not to many people.

This is a great nature preserve. There is a lot to see and the terrain is very diverse. With that being said, it can be very steep and also very muddy so travel cautiously and consider the abilities of those in your group. There are a few spots in which the trail is a bit washed out and you are on the edge of a slope. Much of the hiking trails are either along the edge of the creek or up on the ridge. There a many chipmunks to see, toads, crayfish, and deer prints in the mud. The falls are both cools but the third falls is a pretty good distance from the parking lot so you would need to plan to bring some provisions.

gorgeous area, even tho the trails are marked pretty well I still got mixed up a few times. red trail crosses the creek at first cascade. the final cascade is absolutely beautiful and well worth the walk up.

Great place for a nice three mile hike. Kid friendly, but not stroller friendly. Dog friendly. I use Verizon and had cell service the whole time, which is nice in case of emergency. (Or for playing Pokemon Go, there was a nest of Charmanders while I was there.) There is a parking lot. The only negative I can think of is that many people know about it, so the trails can get a little crowded.

Short, fun hike. Some mild vertical climbs but only for a few yards. Good for kids to adults.

I think the Boy Scouts or Eagle Scouts keep up this trail. It’s a little difficult as the terrain is steep. Very fun though. The waterfalls are no longer available to the public so don't bother going to far in. There are private property signs and a fence up and construction keeping you away.

I loved the trails! Great place to hike. I brought along my dog and he loved it as well. I would recommend durable hiking sneakers on a wet day or after a rain, have fun!

Wish one of the other visits didnt have their dogs running wild without leash. Love animals but hearing a bell charging at you from behind not so relaxing. Otherwise area is beautiful.

Nice nature preserve near Glenville. Not too difficult, we brought along an 11 year old and was able to explore with ease. Beautiful creek runs through the park and you can walk up along the bank. Some small falls can be observed. The trail has three interconnected loops that you can explore along. Not too long of a loop, we did about 1.5 miles on our exploration.

My pup loved this hike. It was challenging enough that I got a good workout, but still very doable.

Great walk for family. Spend 2 hours, walk along the water, see a few water falls, track deer and maybe other animals. Just a noce easy track woth a few technical root climbs. Very nice.

If you're looking for a nice stroll through the woods, this trail is for you. It's moderate with climbs, but it's definitely manageable for beginners and children alike.

The trail itself is beautiful, but it can be confusing if you're unfamiliar with the area. Take the red trail if you want to see some beautiful waterfalls!

I'd recommend spending two hours on this walk—it's worth it!

It's beautiful but I work near there so every time I pass by the gps thinks I went through the preserve! It is a hiking trail and not a playground so dress accordingly.

I explore nature preserves most weekends, and this place is by far my favorite find! Much larger of an area than you expect, this remarkable nature preserve can occupy you for an entire day! Beautiful stair cases bring you down from the high ground where you enter the preserve, to the lovely creek below. A sturdy bridge allows you to cross the creek and find many trailways. The off-putting steep trail brings you up a large hill where you can find tall magnificent trees. Continue to wander the hillside, and a trail will bring you back down to the creek where you can follow creekside on a hot day to help stay cool. Wide, but small waterfalls can be found on this section of the creek, where you can walk right up to them. Very peaceful. An explorers paradise.
Inexperienced hikers use caution, the steep hills and tight paths can be difficult in places.

Trails wind up and down through ravines along the Indian Kill, with several waterfalls. Some areas can be muddy in wet weather or icy in winter. Nice places for kids to wade and catch crayfish.
