Woods Hollow Nature Preserve

I love this place. Some of the smaller trails are overgrown. They could definitely use some work. Beware of ticks. Other trails are nice and wide. Great place to walk your dog or just go for an easy hike and enjoy nature.
Usually pretty quiet, but can get busy.
Not challenging at all. A few small hills.

My family had a good time yesterday on these nice, quiet walking trails. The lake is beautiful, we're definitely going to visit again with fishing poles. We only saw two other people while we were walking, only one other car in the parking lot. The maps that are posted at the entrance and by the lake are not very helpful though, there are a bunch of smaller foot trails that aren't on the maps so it can be a little confusing. It's the perfect time of year to go, the weather was perfect yesterday and most of the trails are shaded so it was a comfortable little hike. There's a loop that goes past the lake, it's a pretty short trail, but there are other trails that go a lot further so you have choices on how far you want to go. My family loved this place and we will be back.

Lots of little diverting paths, a lake and pond make this a fun hike. Lots of parking and the trails are marked pretty well.

Excellent trails, great parking in multiple locations/entrances, dog friendly. Loved the variety of environmental attractions to look at such as the sand pit, lake, creek, forest, march, and flowers. Enjoyed the informative signs throughout the preserve. I'm excited to go again and try some of the other trails.

A pretty decent nature preserve close to Milton and Ballston Spa. Located on Rowland Street, just north of the Village, Woods Hollow is a 130-acre passive recreation park to be enjoyed for fishing, hiking, jogging, skiing, and nature trails.

The trail is not long and it is really suitable for an afternoon walk. The pond is tranquil and one can fishing in the summer. I will try to get here at summer, it would be nice a place.

Beautiful and plentiful trails. Great for walking in the warm months or cross country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. Dog friendly.

Great little pond. Quiet, easy to get to for the average walker. Some small slopes. This was early in the morning. Parked on Rowland Street.

Lovely place. Many trails for walking or biking! Two ponds for fishing or just pictures! Was such a nice place I proposed here!

If you haven't ventured in yet, do yourself a favor an unwind with your choice of several loops, a few around a lake!

Excellent small park not too far from down town Ballston Spa but remote enough to enjoy nature at its finest. Lots of trails and a small reservoir. Good for walking, biking, running, cross-country skiing etc. Good for walking dogs as well. Moderately trafficked.

Great place for a small hike, to run, or bring kids for a picnic. Wide mostly flat smooth trails are great to walk around. Hills for sleigh riding in winter! Small pond with some fish in it. Many trails to choose from.

Short hike back into the sand pit for winter sledding. Easy to access and lots of parking. Short but steep hill with enough runs for two or three people to go down at once. Busy spot but everyone with masks and practicing social distancing willingly.
