My mom passed away peacefully but suddenly on January 11, 2024. She was 101 years old - would have been 102 on April 3, 2024. No matter the age, it is always extremely sorrowful to lose a mother. We went to see Craig Bryce to make the arrangements - I have never met a person more wonderful, understanding, kind, and helpful than Craig. He and the family and staff at Bryce Funeral Home put us at ease in every possible way. Considerate and accommodating, they honored all our requests and answered our questions before we even asked them. Our mother's funeral was beautiful, and just like she wanted. There was no stress, or trying to remember things, or any concern - Craig just took care of everything and then some. I would not think of any other funeral home than Bryce, they took care of my father in 2014, and over the years they have taken care of many aunts, uncles, and in-laws. My family and I will be forever grateful and we cannot thank Craig Bryce and his family and staff enough. God bless you and all that you do for people in their time of great need.

During one of the most recent challenging times in our lives, Bryce Funeral Home provided exceptional care and support as we celebrated the life of our mom, Louise. David, in particular, was incredibly helpful, even planning the service months before her passing. When the time came, he stepped up and relieved a great deal of the burden and responsibility from my shoulders. His compassion and proactive approach made all the difference. I recently lost my sister suddenly in an apartment fire. She was 32, and unconventional. Bryce Funeral Home helped my family and I honor her memory extremely well. They were a partner in planning her services and managing the beginning of our grief.

Originally from Troy, Beth was studying in Syracuse when she passed away. My parents planned to use the only funeral home they knew, a large chain. I reached out to family and friends and Bryce was recommended to me. I am so glad we reached out to this family home. Craig Bryce was able to meet with me the one day that I had traveled to Troy while the hospital was preparing my sister for organ donation. He was kind and had a sense of humor. I was able to design my own prayer cards and purchase a casket for a reasonable price. There was no attempt to up-sell me, and Craig helped make suggestions that would be aligned with what I shared about my sister.

Bryce Funeral Home allowed me to bring in my own flowers from a farm my sister loved, give out seed packets, and help decorate the space around her casket. We were also able to display a picture board. I never felt like we couldn’t do exactly what we needed to in order to honor Beth. Craig was incredibly responsive. Our case was particularly difficult because my sister had died in a fire and we wanted to decide last minute whether or not to have an open casket. The home also had to arrange her travel from Syracuse, and helped me understand what the time frame for recovering her body might be given that she needed to donate organs and then be seen by a medical examiner. Craig helped manage my expectations and keep me continually updated.

We can’t say enough about the excellent service our family received from Craig and the entire staff at the Bryce Funeral Home. Everyone went out of their way to help and honor all of our requests at this difficult time . Their kindness and compassion will be remembered .

Craig Bryce and his staff are beyond exceptional. Craig helped me with services for my 31 year old brother in 1987. At 33 years of age I had no idea what I was doing but I found inner strength in order to handle this on behalf of my parents. Sudden death of an only son is extremely traumatic and nothing a parent can ever be prepared for. Craig patiently answered my questions and explained in detail what was necessary. It was difficult for me as a young adult making such decisions for my parents but we had a lovely private service for my brother. The church was full of wonderful friends and family which helped to ease their pain. Fast foward 10 months later - Father's Day 1988 - my 64 year old dad died from cardiac arrest. I call it broken heart syndrome. I found the inner strength before for both of my parents and now that inner strength was there again for my mom. I once again met with Craig but I did not need to review anything. All I said was "DITTO^ And once again this family-owned business was there for me and my mom. Same lovely service. Same church packed with family and friends. Fast forward 33 years. My mom at 95 passed away. Now the hardest part a person must face - finding inner strength for yourself. And Craig was there again and I once again said "DITTO" and yes, he had the records from my dad and brother still there!! We respected mom's wishes - no wake, no funeral, a graveside service with a blessing by a priest. It helps when you have such personalized service at Bryce's whether this is your first experience or in my case your third experience!! But of utmost importance is that this family-owned business employs staff that genuinely care. I highly recommend Bryce Funeral Home Inc.

We just had a wonderful experience with the burial because of Bryce Funeral Home. They took over and did everything to perfection from making arrangements to get my mother from the assisted living facility to their Maple Avenue mortuary. The only responsibility the family has is to pick out the casket, if it has not been already done prior to the death of your lived one. The only other responsibility for the family is being at their facility for the viewing and be ready when the family car(s) arrive to take the family to the place of burial.
I would highly recommend the Bryce Funeral Home for all of your needs related to your loved ones. They are a first class organization and there is a reason why they are the best there is.

I can't thank Craig, David and their support staff enough for all they did for my mom. I was in such a fog that I called Craig and David numerous times and they were so patient and kind. Every detail was attended to and I worried about nothing from beginning to end. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
