Lafayette Motel & Restaurant

Restaurant has amazing breakfast food! Taste like a good home cooked meal! Highly recommend their woodstead sauce(locally made) and home made bread which can be purchased and used at home as well.

I stopped in here for a late breakfast. The fare was quick, simple, and good to the point. I had the eggs benedict, highly recommend. The kitchen was very fast in preparing this elegeant, but simple breakfast.

I did not visit the Motel, only the restaurant.

In town for my nephew's wedding. My family had 3 rooms, all were big and roomy; no one felt like they were on top of one another. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable! We loved that those of us that are early risers could grab coffee at the lobby (with real creamer in the room frig!!) and sit outside of our room enjoying the beautiful weather. We had time to kill until the wedding and enjoyed the yard area to gather and chat. Wish we had time to utilize the fire pit area - next time! Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious and the folks there could not be nicer! If I remember, Colleen was our server and she was fantastic!! Of course Debbie helped us book our rooms and she was so very pleasant! Can't wait to visit again!

I stayed here in the summer of 2009 for a wedding. I know that was 15 years ago. This past weekend we meet up with some old friends, who also stayed at the Lafayette. With shared some laughs and talked about the trip and how kind the staff was. The breakfast at the restaurant was incredible. I believe it was a gentlemen named Terry who we all remembered. A very kind man. Service lacks these days at so many places and industries. I hope all is still well at the Lafayette.

The restaurant was great! Homemade breads. Unique Foods. I had the Georgia Benedict. Recommend the wheat raisin bread.

Extremely friendly, and welcoming hosts, from the time of reservation, to the check-in and out! Friendly welcome made the stay that much more enjoyable! My husband and I stayed overnight and found the room completely redone and super clean and cozy! Cute little porch seats and beautiful grounds. We will definitely be staying again!

Last time i stayed it was clean but I frequently go to the restaurant and their food is so good. I believe everything is fresh, nothing is frozen. Waffles 🧇 bread 🍞 and home fries 🍟 are the bomb. I've never been disappointed there and they are fair with their pricing. Juice is pricey but that comes in from a vendor. Glad they are still there serving great food after so many years. And the servers are always friendly. (Thank you!)

The Lafayette Restaurant is a great place for breakfast & lunch. The food is delicious and the service is wonderful. I'm already dreaming of their cream cheese stuffed pancakes and grilled cinnamon buns. Yum.They get crazy busy during the summer (tourist season), so I would make sure you have adequate time and expect to wait a bit for a table. But the wait is well worth the delicious food!

Favorite restaurant ever!! Amazing staff, customers, and atmosphere. The food is absolutely amazing!! It's served fresh, hot, and delicious! Home made breads too!! We go almost every weekend for breakfast, go check it out!!

This is the very best resturant in Canandaigua ; especially at breakfast.
The people are attentaive and you only need to visit once for them to remember your order.

I've never stayed at the motel, but the restaurant is one of the best places for breakfast in Canandaigua. The restaurant is one of those hidden gems that only the locals know about. The home-made bread is amazing and the service is very friendly.

The restaurant is one of the best I have had. Every item on their list is amazing and their staff is some of the kindest people I have met. When ever I make my way down to the area, this is a mandatory place to go. If you are visiting or just never been, do not pass up this opportunity. I have been going to this place for over 15 years. Each time I check to see if the quality changes. And it is just as amazing as the first time I tried it.

Everyone here is amazing and the breakfast and lunch is arguably the best in canandaigua especially if you’re looking for a local place with amazing comfort food. The entire staff is amazing at what they do and are more than welcoming. Please visit if you haven’t!

Just went to restaurant food very good but they charge you for a lemon in your water and it was a small glass and they don't give you refills.

The diner is like an old timer. The food is delicious and the service is friendly.

Perfect! My son plays baseball at FLCC needed a place to stay near college and reasonable! CLEAN and comfortable! We stayed last year....and we'll be back this year! BONUS ---> there is a bar in walking distance just kitty corner.....
