Bunk House Motel

The owner's are super great people and very accommodating. I loved the rustic feel of our room we had. Room was very clean. I am so glad they allowed pets. Not many places do. Hope to stay with them again in the near future.

I decided to take the scenic route (U.S. Highway system) on my road trip from Utah to Ohio. I read reviews and spent my first night at the Bunk House Motel. The proprietor really made me feel comfortable. I had an issue with the room she gave me and she quickly remedied the situation by transferring me to another room. Room had DirecTV subscription. Everything worked including the sink, toilet, and shower. Bed was very comfortable. I like this place and I recommend it to other travelers that happen to find themselves here. It's a motel in the middle of nowhere so don't expect anything fancy. Leave your expectations out in the parking lot. Just relax and sleep well.

Great cozy place to stay! We needed somewhere for an extended stay and the owners have been so accommodating! It is a family run business and they are very nice. We are so happy we found this place to stay. It has cute decor, hot showers, comfy beds, free parking, microwave, refrigerator with small freezer, a closet, dresser and nice TV. Our room even has a desk. Along the side is a grassy area with picnic tables. A street over is a dollar general, which is nice. The main street is only a few blocks way. I HIGHLY recommend staying here!

Excellent!.. Owners are great local folks. Room was nice and clean and bed was very comfy. Has Directv fridge and microwave! Will stay again next time I'm in town

I needed a place to stay it was late and started to snow. The other places in town wanted a $100 security deposit and another place only excepted credit card

We stayed at the Bunk House Motel recently when our daughter graduated from Chadron State College. This motel is nothing fancy, but is very clean and comfortable. Annette is super nice and made us feel very welcome. We traveled to Nebraska from Michigan and we pleasantly surprised to hear that Annette was a fellow Michigander. After the graduation ceremony, I noticed a text message from Annette....we left a phone charger in our room. GREAT customer service!!! I highly recommend staying here.

Very Happy we stopped at this one. Clean, cozy, rooms at a very reasonable price. The Lady at desk was very accomodating to anything we needed. Even said there would be coffee made in the morning at the office. 😊

Room 120 was clean, cool, and welcoming with air conditioning on for us after a hot day and had a kind neighboly western feel. We called in advance, gave estimated arrival,, and room was held for us.

Excellent absolutely excellent rooms! Wonderful customer service, clean neat rooms. I can't say enough good about this place. Highly recommend you stop there if you going through Chadron. They even have refrigerators in the room, that works great, to keep your beverages cold!!

Great experience and very comfortable accommodations. Nothing fancy but very clean. I didn't have any coffee late one evening and the manager actually made a thermos full for me. That's over the top. Thank you Bunkhouse

The front desk woman was extremely welcoming and friendly. The rooms are quaint and clean. It is within walking distance of town and our overall experience was great. Highly recommended!

Nice clean room, great rate and everything worked fine. Motorcycle friendly. Stayed here in 2017 on my way back west to Sturgis after a Rte 66 trip from LA to Chicago.

This is my third time to stay at The Bunkhouse. I used to live in Chadron and the The Bunkhouse is my little home away from home. Annette and her family are wonderful and welcoming. I requested a room with log siding and she made sure I got it. The beds are very comfortable. They rooms are clean. You can drive right to your door and you feel completely safe. You can't beat the price! I will always stay at the Bunkhouse when I'm in Chadron.

I reccommend the Bunk House Motel because of its relaxed friendly atmosphere. It's quiet, clean, not too expensive, and situated at the center of the region's cultural and natural wonders. After staying here a week to explore the High Plains, I plan to stay here again when I return. My heartfelt thanks to Annette, the owner-operator, who makes it all possible.

A great Motel for anyone riding a motorcycle through the area. They really cater to riders. It is an old motel so its not fancy and most everything is dated but it is clean and cozy with a very friendly staff.

Cozy room! very clean, friendly and welcoming staff. And what a good price! One of those motels where you feel like you're staying at a relative's place. Means a lot to someone who lives on the road.
