This store was awesome! Extremely nice owner, and we even got to watch him make his well crafted belts. We got one men’s belt, hand fitted in store, as well as one for the pup! Such amazing quality. Would recommend!

Man, this is one of those shops you walk into and just know you're getting quality. Friendly service, artisan merchandise and reasonable prices. I bought a new belt and the Beggar in Residence sized and cut it for me while I waited. Check this place out.

I traveled over 7 hours to this leather store to find the best leather wallet money could buy and guess what? I found here. It’s slim; it smells amazing; it is top quality. The store owners were also really friendly and helpful and the prices are reasonable. It’s a great store! Definitely recommend.

Awesome little shop! They make many of the belts, wallets and handbags right in the store! As soon as you open the door,you are engulfed in the comforting scent of leather! The staff are friendly and accommodating. It's definitely worth a visit!

Great quality of hand crafted and stitched leather. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The store is clean and well organized. The woman behind the counter was very cheerful with my daughter. We went in looking for some new riding gear and we were not disappointed!

I've been visiting the north conway area for decades and while I've certainly noticed the shop I've never had a need to visit until today. My mass produced wallet had fallen apart, in need of a replacement I figured Beggars Pouch could fit the bill. The lady working (co-owner I believe) was incredibly helpful and the selection of men's wallets, along with other leather goods, was great. While I paid more for the replacement I have no doubt it will hold up and should there be an issue I have a place for repairs. Buy local. She gave my kids a great overview of some of the processes that go into leather crafting.

Just love there homemade leather bags. Great size, soft as butter leather. Worth every cent. Lasts like iron. They also sell other brands as well. I like there bags that are sewn by machine in their store. Also available are other leather goods like jackets, pants, belts etc. Stop in or browse online.

Wanted a couple of belts to fit some brass belt buckles I have. Was sent to back house and got to pick from a wide selection of great belts. I live in North Carolina and bring my buckles with me when visiting. My grandmother used to have them make special straps for her purse. Great quality handmade good and resale items. Friendly owners. The place smells amazing with leather goods. They can even make you a custom belt on the spot, size you out and you pick the buckle. Nice leather jackets, accessories, wallets, etc.

What a great place !! Friendly, pleasant and helpful. Had new buckle put on a pair of chaps in just a few minutes. Very reasonable pricing and excellent craftsmanship. Be sure to check out the sales on the 2nd floor !

Old school artisan leather shop. They have been around a long time in a resort area with constantly changing retailers around them. If you are looking for USA artisan made leather goods check them out.

I have purchased two tooled belts, a beautiful motorcycle jacket and two custom wallets. This is my go to place when visiting North Conway. If you get something from here, it will last you a lifetime
